'Why Can't I Just Eat My Waffle?'

Tue, Apr 22, 2008 at 8:00:36 am PDT

The would-be President of the United States doesn’t like answering questions about Hamas.

WASHINGTON (AFP-EJP)—-Democratic White House contender Barack Obama could not hide his irritation Monday when asked by a reporter what he thought about former president Jimmy Carter’s meeting with Hamas last week.

“Why can’t I just eat my waffle?” the Illinois senator said as he ate breakfast in Scranton, Pennsylvania, according to MSNBC television pictures.

Pressed again for an answer, he replied: “Just let me eat my waffle.”

Dude- if you can't be bothered to answer a simple question, no matter when it's posed to you, you're not fit to be President.

You think a world crisis is going to wait for your breakfast?!

I can see Obama in the White House now:

“Sigh...Why can’t I just eat my waffle?”

Obama told a synagogue in Philadelphia that while it was legitimate to meet with the leaders of states such as Syria or Iran, even if they were hostile to Israel, "Hamas is not a state" and did not warrant such a move.

Is he agreeing that it's okay for Carter to do so?

Caroline Glick on BHO's fascist proclivities:

Speaking in February of the man she knows better than anyone else does, Michelle Obama said that her husband, Illinois Senator and candidate for the Democratic Presidential nomination Barack Obama, is the only candidate for president who understands that before America can solve its problems, Americans have to fix their "broken souls."

She also said that her husband's unique understanding of the state of souls of the American people makes him uniquely qualified to be President. Obama can do what his opponent in the Democratic race Senator Hillary Clinton, and Senator John McCain, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, cannot do. He can heal his countrymen's broken souls. He will redeem them.

But then, saving souls is hard work, and Mrs. Obama won't place the whole burden on her husband. He'll make the Americans work for him. As she put it, "Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zone. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed."

At base, Mrs. Obama's statement is nothing less than a renunciation of democracy and an embrace of fascism. The basic idea of liberty is that people have a natural right to live their lives as usual and to be uninvolved and uninformed. And they certainly have a right to expect that their government will butt out of their souls.

IN CONTRAST, fascist societies, as Jonah Goldberg notes in the latest issue of National Review, are all about the notions of "unity" and "change" and melding our broken souls into a fixed, united will for change that Obama has made the core theme of his campaign. Goldberg compared "unity" with "patriotism," and explained that while the latter connotes the willingness to defend the moral values of a society, unity is bereft of any moral content. "The only value of unity is strength, strength in numbers - and... that is a fascist value. That's the symbolism of the fasces, the bundle of sticks that in combination are invincible."...

Another thing fascist societies have in common: charismatic leaders.

Waffle (speech)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search
The term waffle, particularly outside of the U.S., denotes language without meaning; blathering, babbling, droning. One might waffle throughout an essay or a presentation, when not having enough material or needing to fill in time. Etymologists say the term was derived from waff, a 17th-century onomatopoeia for the sound a barking dog makes, similar to the modern woof. Although the relationship between a dog's bark and indecisiveness is not entirely clear, the speculation is that the words of a waffler have no more meaning than a dog barking.[citation needed]

Waffling can also be used as a derogatory term to describe a candidate or politician who is said to easily switch sides on issues to curry political favor, as an easily-flipped breakfast food with the same name. A waffle was famously used to represent President Bill Clinton in the Doonesbury comic strip.

Heh.

May 3, 2010.

Lizard Press Seattle -- As Los Angeles lies in smoking ruins with the body count approaching 1.25 million. The sequence of events in the Obama White House is coming to lights.

Pres. Obama had sat down to breakfast when National Security Advisor Medea Benjamin contacted the President with a flash alert from Military forces in the Persian Gulf. Obama told Benjamin it could wait till after breakfast.

When NORAD issued a launch alert, Obama's Cheif of Staff Ayers told the Military Attache to hold the matter until he was finished. Finally ignoring the orders the Attache forced his way into the private White House quarters and informed Obama that a warhead was being tracked and the target was LA. He was also informed the the DDG-56 USS John S. McCain was off the coast of California and could intercept the warhead.

Obama the screamed at the Attache.

123 lawhawk  Tue, Apr 22, 2008 8:22:55am

I wouldn't want to be talking about Hamas either if I were Obama. Waffling at the Waffle House is just what he's done. He first said that Carter's trip was as a private citizen and it didn't trouble him.

Then, he must have had one of his more astute politicos whisper in his ear that Carter's trip would have a deleterious effect on the PA Jewish vote, because Carter's nothing but a useful idiot for Hamas.

So, he said that it was a bad idea.

Never mind that Obama has said that he wouldn't rule out meeting with Ahmadinejad, whose own views are identical to that of Hamas when it comes to jihad and Israel.

And Carter's policy people are working for Obama's campaign, and Carter's repeatedly said that he and his people think the world of Obama, and the world wants to see an Obama presidency.

Of course, the world that Carter thinks wants to see Obama as president are the likes of Hamas, the terror masters in the Middle East, and everyone else who thinks that a political neophyte like Obama will be a pushover and that the dictators, despots, and terrorists will have a field day at the expense of the US and its allies.

Another great example of racism! You see, the syrup goes on top of the pancake, thus showing how the pancakes are kept down. Additionally, the syrup slows down the movement of the pancake, thus reproducing the way that the syrup restrains the pancakes.

Obama: Let them eat waffles!

Forward that to both the Clinton and McCain campaign headquarters! That's a terrific ad....short and to the point, a shot to the heart. Wouldn't cost a lot to produce.

Mr. Barack NMN Obama has been avoiding the press for ten days. He apparently thinks silence is golden. The more this man speaks off the cuff the more he proves he isn't up the task of being President of the United States, and certainly not Commander-in Chief of its armed forces. Now there's a scary thought, Commander-in-Chief Obama.

Why I like Hillary better than Obama

(from a link currently up on Worldnetdaily)

Clinton's remarks came during an interview airing tomorrow morning on the ABC News show, "Good Morning America."

ABC's Chris Cuomo asked Clinton what she would do if Iran attacked Israel with nuclear weapons, according to the network.

"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president we will attack Iran," Clinton said. "In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them."

He wasn't prepared to answer with a typical scripted response. Without a script, Barack Hussein Obama comes up short. Can't wait for the debates with an opponent that is more aggressive. If McCain presses him hard, he'll crumble.... I think the days of softball questions are coming to an end, at least I hope so.

OK. Here's the BHO waffle test.
The next time B. Hussein O. orders waffles, the waitperson should give him a side order of bacon.
If he shows surprise and eats the bacon, then he passes. (Would be eat the bacon just to prove he isn't a mooslim?)
If he ignores it or expresses horror at it, then watch out, the free world will be in even greater peril than we thought.

Campaign tip: If you're going to eat breakfast in a public place to mingle with the voters, the reporters will turn up. If you don't want to answer questions about week-old news stories while on the campaign trail, then eat breakfast in your hotel room. Or quit campaigning and go eat at home.

Ode To Waffles

Waffle, O Waffle - Joy Of My Life,
How I like to eat you with a fork and knife,
You are golden-brown, crispy and good,
You, O Waffle, are my favorite kind of food.

Would I eat you while I'm skankin'?
Would I eat you while phone-pranking?
Would I eat you in a boat?
Would I eat you with a goat?
Would I eat you if you were dusty?
Would I eat you if you were krusty?
Would I eat you in Satan's lair?
Yes, I would eat you anywhere!

And if I don't have a waffle, I don't panic,
I don't go insane or turn satanic,
but something happens to me that is awful-
I start to eat anything that sorta looks like a waffle!
Checkered clothes have a bad taste,
and no tile floor is safe,
plaid shirts and chessboards (made of wood!),
all start to look real good.

Oh Waffle, Waffle, Waffle, who could say,
what would happen to me if I could not eat you every day?

OK, you wanna know what i think? this may be a stretch, but i know a lot of people and a couple just ilke this guy. He has that air of pretentiousness about him. Whoever said up above that he needs to check his Ego, was EXACTLY right! the feeling i get was that he wanted to say: dont bother me with your petty questions, unimportant person, i dont care what you have to say. go away. just like he did with the guy who wanted a photograph. He's simply an arrogant Ass, who doesnt give a damn about anyone but himself, UNLESS they can do something to further his goal of attaining greater personal power for himself.

Second, I think the only reason he deferred to his waffles was because he wasnt smart enough to really think up a GOOD response under pressure with no prep. This guy has no real substance. its all hype. all show, no go. this guy is an idiot, and all the things he says and does, are scripted. without a paper to read, or someone to direct him, he didnt know what to do or say. He Chickened Out. He chickened out of the tough questions like he always does, because he doesnt have any answers, and couldnt script the right answer in advance to the question.

I think theres a third and GLARINGLY OBVIOUS point to this too. Maybe he agrees with what carter is doing, and was trying very hard to keep himself from saying as much. Maybe he's not a complete fool, and knew that it was better to say nothing at all, instead of committing himself to a truthful answer about the fact that he agrees with and supports carter and Hamas in particular, and that if he said otherwise, it would disenfranchise so many of the 'I hate America' crowd he is depending on so very much. In particular, im talking about that fat traitor Michael "got any Moore donuts' Moore, and all people of his ilk. If Obama Says he supports hamas, it shows him for what i really beleive him to be: an anti-semite who supports terrorists (Islamic ones like hamas and domestic american ones like Bill Ayers), and if he disavows carter and hamas, he pisses off his america-hating voter base. Instead, he Puss'd out and sniffled like a little spoiled brat, "cant i just eat my waffles?"

How Very Presidential. Really. Another Jimmy Carter In The Making Perhaps?
