And there I was lamenting the reappearence of Aaron McGruder's Rev. Wright-esque dreck on Cartoon Network earlier tonight as the proverbial shir hit the proverbial bladed cooling device.

He's engaged in disloyal subversionh right now.

I remember a commercial in the early 70s featuring this song in the background of black and white children playing together.

Can't we all agree to start from that point and move forward?

Life is a lot more complicated now than then, for all ages.
A couple of months ago, my son and d.i.l. were talking about living in another city. My 4 y/o grandaughter said: "Then you have to buy me a cell" They said: "why".
"So I can text my friends!"
She was four -(five now)

I was sitting on my hands the last thread. First, it's never a good idea for me to comment on Europe, all things considered. It's not only that Charles might ban me after lo, these many years, but I live in fear of saying something that might embarrass him and LGF.

Aside from that I'm seriously afflicted with the "bread of our affliction" today. I really shouldn't say anything!

That doesn't sell papers! Their readers don't want to decipher codes, they want to be told in simple plain words that they are right and should (no - must) feel good about themselves.

Simple and plain (no more then a couple of syllables)

Oh Yeah, the Lillies. They like lots of sun, but will still be ok with some. I'm sure if you go look at them often enough, they'll get their fill of radiance. Talloldman probably gets sunburn

It cracks me up how people blame other people for ticks. Happens here, too. They're vicious this year. We're all examining each other daily like a bunch of orangutans! ;-)

Grooming make Lucius happy. Tender snacktime!

At least we don't consider them a snack like the orangutan's do!

OK kids, I've got to go read some more student drafts. I can't decide if they're lazy or just thick.

Did you write Brad Paisley's song "Ticks", cause that sounds like the same procedure to me. Maybe my bride will need some help in that DEPT. I'll have to wait till they look like M&M's on me I guess.

No, the grooming is the tender part. Ticks actually sort of crunchy.

If they're anything like the one's I've been working with over the past 6 years... I'd say they're too self involved to focus on their work.

I will never eat lima beans - ever - ever.
Big ticks - never mind - no need to gross everyone out more then they are.

I give up on the left.

I went to the site that LGF had advertised with the youtube video of a speech with Ronnie Reagan. (circa 1964). There was a link to another video with a video from Barry Goldwater (or something like that) circa same period. And in the comments column there is a moron advocating both Obama and Socialism as possible solutions to the current USA.

What the truck?

Socialism, a failed idealism that seems destined to fail EVERY time its implemented because its only implemented the wrong way (its been tried in various formats to date at least 6 times with abject failiure in the last 150 years). And then Obama again .. who stands for what .. ?

I want to retire to a poppy field in Afghanistan someday, and in the meantime i'll put up with these clowns. But any more of this .....

/just want to scream sometimes.
