Levi Eshkol's biggest mistake was not expelling all of the Arabs from Gaza immediately after Israel won the Six- Day War.

She sent me the chapter from the Yizkor that even included a photo.

The town my grandmother lived in was called Korelich, which is now a part of Belarus, I believe. Sometime in the early 40's, 40 or 41, the Jews of Korelich (like other towns) were herded off into a ghetto too small to contain them. Their food and water supply was cut off and they were starved. Those who didn't starve were shot. The elderly, men, women, children, everyone. When the bullets ran out, they clubbed them. They were buried in mass graves.
