OK, we need something to argue about.

Just posted on zomblog:

Here come the pro-Expelled demonstrations

Oh dear.

Just when you thought it was safe to get back in the classroom...a protester promoting the claims put forth in Ben Stein’s controversial film Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed showed up on the U.C. Berkeley campus today to argue with students about creationism and atheism.

When I stumbled across this scene, I didn’t at first notice the Expelled card on his sign. It’s rare to see anti-atheism protesters in Berkeley (as you might imagine), so I stuck around for a while to eavesdrop on the ongoing arguments.

It wasn’t until I circled around to the back that I got the full gist of his intent.

And then it hit me — Oooooohhhhhh, he was inspired to confront the UC students by Ben Stein, who thinks creationism should be given equal time in science classes alongside evolutionary biology. (Which, in my opinion, is a completely ludicrous demand, seeing as creationism is not science. Teach theology in Sunday school; in biology class, stick to the scientific method. This review of the film pretty much sums up my opinions on the matter.)

I don't create reality -- I just report on it. So don't blame me for the topic!

Fuck that, we're gonna go after Barry, hammer and tong.
I think a lot - actually most - folks out here don't realize that Hillary couldn't really go after Obama after Super-Tuesday - if she did, the super-delegates could well have all announced for Obama to get her to shut up. They may still do so. But McCain and the 527's don't have to worry about anything except winning the election.
And I hope, pray and expect that excellent blogs like LGF will continue to expose Obama for the person he really is: Anti-America, Anti-Israel and Anti-White (unless being neutral or pro-White would help him at any particular junction).

Just can't see Hillary getting the delegates... that is why I posted ickes' comment earlier (on the other thread.) Her own guy admitted that even if the MI and FL delegates were seated Hillary would still need in the vincinity of 150 more delegates.

I just can't imagine the remaining uncommitted superdelegates going against the trend. Sure, even if Hillary technically won IN by 20,000 votes, that is still much closer than some had thought it would be.

Even former Clinton cabinet members (who are superdelegates) have drifted from the fold....

Anyway, long time ago (2007) I thought that Clinton was the odds on favorite and that their political machine would deliver for them. However, Obama has surprised us. Guy has got charisma and more importantly - hair (which most of the older white guys running for office lack.)

So onward and upward to the general election.

Speaking of which, I have yet to figure out how much relevance to give to Newt's latest rant.

When most colleges have tenured professors like Ayres, not much of other side of coin is taught or allowed.

And I still don't see why, when "racism" is raised, nobody in the fucking media, including Fox, talks about the racism of MORE than 90% of Black voters in all the primaries voted for Obama? Is that a taboo subject?!

In a word, yes. In Journalism school they are taught that minorities are incapable of being racist.

re: #95 freetoken Oh I understand what you're saying, I'm just saying I think she'll hang in there for the floor fight that I feel is coming!
Real question is: Will Obama offer her VP? and if he does, will she take it?
Watch the MSM spin it that way - that if she doesn't take VP slot she's hurting the Dem party chances.
But again, do you think Obama would offer the VP slot to her?

I sure wish that Ben Stein had used his talent and energy to make a film about Leftist indoctrination on campus instead.

It's already been done.

Obama's Indiana strength was primarily Marion county (Indianapolis). He won the largest county by his largest margin (67-33). Clinton won the rest of the state 54-46 (even including Gary).

Indiana vote, by county

Yeah, I still don't understand that Texas vote/delegate allotment at all.
But Hillary truly expected to get drubbed down here in N.C. - waaaay too many Black voters for her to overcome.

A floor fight in the convention center and riots outside in the streets...

Tee-hee!

Lordy, I'm glad I live downwind of Denver. (Salt Lake, if anyone's wondering.)

Night folks.

That's an awful lot of red. Just goes to show the big cities, by hook or by crook elect most of our officials.

I have problems with the tenure system. You can't fire downright incompetents, for one thing. On the other hand, as someone who has done a lot of teaching in colleges on a part-time (non-tenured) basis, I sure wish I had it. I feel tremendous pressure to not make waves.....to put it gently.

NC has lost almost all of its furniture jobs, and all of its Textile jobs.
And people blame Bill Clinton for the NAFTA and World Trade.
Other states only recently discovered what a recession is,
NC has had one for 10 frigging years.

Hitler could have beat Clinton in NC.

/probably did?

McCain had better get his shit together on these World Charade deals,
Or keep his Senate day job.

My mind cannot get wrapped around the idea of Hillary being Obama's VP. Sorry, just can't go there, all I get is "does not compute" on the output tape..
