You want to add the flaming skull to this post? After all, it's yet another sign that Obama and his advisers intend to open negotiations with terrorists. Period. Doesn't matter who they are, what they've done, and how much harm to US interests around the world, his door is open to them.

And once again, it makes you question his character and fitness to govern as President given that he chose to surround himself with people whose first motivation is to talk with terrorists - or are/were terrorists themselves (Bill Ayers, I'm looking at you).

I agree. Under B. Hussein, Iran will get a nuke. Even Hillary wouldn't let that happen (because it would interfere with her power).

I suspect all of these "firings" are just a facade to appease Obambi's critics and those gun toting, bitter religious people who are currently the undecided votes he so desperately needs in the general election.

If elected, there is every possibility that these "advisers" will be given prominent appointments and that the liberal/marxist policies they espouse will become President Obambi's policies.

I work with too many liberal Marxists. They would argue that you are passing judgment on people you don't know, and are projecting your value system on other's which is verboten. In their mind, this is your problem and has nothing to do with Obama.

The end result? Obama's unsavory associations bother conservatives, but not liberals. And I wish I was being sarcastic.

Lanny Davis on CNN primary night: 'Worst experience I ever had on television'


When Clinton supporter Lanny Davis appeared on CNN during primary night, shortly before 10 p.m., there was a peculiar exchange with host Anderson Cooper.

Cooper: Lanny, let me start off with you. We haven't heard from you tonight. Your take on Barack Obama's speech earlier?
Davis: You haven't heard from me tonight. And I'm not sure — I’m not sure you want to hear from me tonight but —
Cooper: We heard from Paul Begala. This is your big chance.
Davis: Well, actually, I don't think we heard very much from Paul Begala. We did hear an awful —
Cooper: All part of the conspiracy against Hillary Clinton, I suppose.

During the Election Night broadcast, there was palpable tension between Davis and CNN reporters and panelists on camera — and apparently, with producers off camera.

Looking back, Davis said by phone this afternoon, he considers it “the worst experience I ever had on television.”

What bothers Davis most is that CNN is the network with which he’s had the longest relationship, where he’s maintained close friendships through the years, and that he's always considered middle-of-the-road in its coverage. But in his opinion, CNN has not treated Hillary Clinton fairly in the ’08 race.

Formerly special counsel to President Bill Clinton, Davis admits wholeheartedly to being a partisan and strongly supports Clinton against Obama.

It's everyone's job to make this case to those we love, our friends, family, neighbors, etc.

Even Hillary recognizes this now, late in the game. Hamas is not our friend. Carter's example is "disgraceful" and shouldn't be Obama's mentor.

Whenever I talk to my friends who are Jewish and thinking about voting for Obama I think the same exact thing. I can only shake my head in disbelief that there are people that stupid in the world. And they have the right to vote, which is a real crime.

I think Obama will end up getting more than 61% of the Jewish vote. The Democratic machine will play the Church/State card like they always do and try and scare Jews into believing that McCain supports a theocracy. Works every time. Obama will end up with maybe 75% of the Jewish vote unless more rabid Jew-haters turn up in his campaign. Of course, if the democrats don't count FL. then he may end up with a higher % since older Jews will not support him as much as younger ones will.

alot of jews in germany didn't believe hitler would come for them, some had family roots going back for hundreds of yrs. and felt like upstanding loyal germans. i have a friend whose german jewish grampa married a german lutheran woman. it was his grandma who saw the hand writing on the wall and got them out.

At the time I thought that there were a number possible reasons to consider the Iowa caucus results to be a fluke:

1. Hillary didn't offer a big enough bribe (farm subsidies) to the Iowans.

(Seriously, when I did two weeks of telephone fund raising for the GOP every time I got a farmer on the line it was always "gimme gimme gimme" with them.)

2. Iowa is just across the river from Illinois with a number of very convenient bridges to facilitate the transmission of Illinois Democrat cooties.

The President is the Leader of the United States of America and that is his/or her ONLY allegiance. Sorta of reminds of metro Atlanta. Clayton county school system is scheduled for loss of national accreditation in September due to its corrupt commissioners. Even if Hillary doesn't get the nomination this ywear I don't believe for a second that we will see the last of her. If history has taught us anything it is that those who see power over others as the central value of their lives (Lenin, Hitler, Castro, Chavez, et al.) will continue to work toward that goal until they have achieved it.

That means if we are lucky Hillary will become the Harold Stassen of the Democratic Party, doomed to perpetually run for the office of President. If we're not lucky, she'll win the office of President.

(Yes, I know it wasn't nice to compare her to Harold Stassen. But then I'd dig him up vote for him before I'd vote for Hillary.)

The past 2 days are a milestone of 60 years of survival of the fledgling Jewish State from a Judaism-loathing, Jewry-hating, Palestinian-loving, oil-crazed world. Even Bush will go there this week.

After waiting 60-years for this occassion- isn't it at least worthy enough for a national network news to acknowledge the factual history of the establishment and survival of the State and people of that nation. Who is Israel? What better occassion to help publicly clarify, identify this country, people, and their plight?

There are plenty of resources to draw from. But who showed anything? Please list any of the documentaries you saw shown by one of the Discovery or History Channels?

But all I saw was Google News' aggregating newspaper articles which focussed on the Palestinians struggle. What have you seen?

Shouldn't the Israeli Foreign Ministry's Communications Dept have done a little better? Shouldn't the organized Jewish Federation? Or the rest of the Jewish establishment?

What's wrong with this picture? The chief of US NATO Command claims that Israel is America's greatest ally in the world.

Is it any wonder why, like the US military in Iraq, the Jihadist war against the West is being undermined in the global public psyche by our own media?

Oddity implies unexpected, abnormal.

When individual liberty is recognized and respect, government rules at the consent of the governed. The what springs forth from the liberty is the full release of the human potential.

The philosophers, writers, leaders of the enlightenment predicted the outcome of individual liberty.

It may be rare in human history but not an oddity. It is predicted and proven result of liberty. Not a coincident, not an accident.

Now, I grant you that numbers higher than five are tricky. 47 states, 50 states, 57 states... who can distinguish between such vast numbers.

But I think a president should be able to tell the difference between one and two.

Of course he probably meant one state besides Alaska and Hawaii. Which I guess makes sense. With those three included, that accounts for all sixty states in America
