Fedora 9

Tue, May 13, 2008 at 11:34:22 am PDT

If you’re a Linux lizard, version 9 of the Fedora Core was released today at the Fedora Project. Everyone in the known universe seems to be downloading it right now; I couldn’t find one mirror site working at better than about 20K/second, so I’m currently downloading the Bittorrent version. It’s still slow—I have about 4 hours left in the download—but better than the HTTP and FTP mirror sites.
