When Discredited Hacks Attack
Tue, May 13, 2008 at 6:48:53 pm PST
St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter Tim Townsend has penned a thoroughly predictable hit piece for the thoroughly biased Columbia Journalism Review, whining about the poor treatment he received at the hands of anonymous internet commenters when he was exposed as a shill for the Saudi-funded radical Islamic front group calling itself the Council on American Islamic Relations: CJR: Love Thy Neighbor.
Please note that Townsend was also exposed as a fraud and a liar, earlier this year, when he wrote an entirely fictional article for the Post-Dispatch describing the horrible tribulations of a homeless woman who did not exist, leading to an apology from his employer—but no corrective action to prevent further fraud, of course.
And Townsend fails to mention that his employer also posted a correction to his smear piece about LGF.
Welcome to the mainstream media, in the 21st century.
