Wed, May 14, 2008 at 11:34:08 am PDT

In the showcase “moderate” Islamic state of Indonesia, the speaker of parliament told an audience of Jew-haters today that Israel is committing ‘ethnic cleansing’.

JAKARTA (AFP) - Israel is carrying out “ethnic cleansing” of Palestinians, a top Indonesian politician said Wednesday in the lead up to celebrations and protests marking the Jewish state’s 60th anniversary.

“There is nearly no day without the blood of innocent people being spilled in Palestine,” Agung Laksono, the speaker of Indonesia’s parliament, told an international anti-Zionist conference here marking the anniversary. [Why are there no other reports on the news wires about this “anti-Zionist conference?” – ed.]

“Israeli soldiers, in a planned manner, murder and destroy the Palestinians. Villages are bombed, homes are destroyed and their fields and burned,” he said.

“We condemn the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by Israel.”

If Israel is committing “ethnic cleansing,” they’re doing a really poor job of it—since the Palestinian territories have one of the fastest growing populations in the world.

Somehow, 6 million Palestinians have the "right of return," even though there were only a few hundred thousand there in the first place. (Almost all of whom sided with the invading Arab armies.)

How did "genocide" transform a few hundred thousand people to over 6 million?

A miracle!

I asked myself the same question some time ago when we had an Indonesian "death to the Jews" hatefest at some mosque or other. It occured to me that for the average Indonesian, a "Jew" is a purely abstract concept. If you were to drive by a Baptist church in Wisconsin, and the attendees suddenly streamed out screaming "kill the Paraguayans!", you'd have to wonder what the f**k was going on in that church...

The ones who insist on ethnic cleansing are the Palestinian Arabs who demand that all Jews be expelled from their future state.

Alas, every recent American administration has supported this vile demand by deeming Jewish villages in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza to be "impediments" to "peace."

Planned yes. Pinpoint targeting of known bad guys yes. Occasional death of civilians the bad guys are hiding behind, yes.

vs.

Random rockets, bombs target at women and children.

I guess the issue is that planning and precision are evil. While random is In'shallah.

Some observations:
-Even the Indonesians are jealous of Israel's democratic government and freedoms.

- One day Indonesians will find themselves with a vile corrupt government that wants to distract its citizens from domestic problems by blaming space aliens or Jews for all the world's problems.

-Wouldn't the effort spent on an anti-zionist conference in a country without Jews have been better spent on some social programs or health care?

- More Indonesians are murdered in honor killings or crimes against Islam each year than than Israel have killed in 60 years of self-protection.

Plant them, harvest a zillion tomatillos, the ones that fall to the ground and rot will create a jillion sprouts next spring. And the cycles continues forever -- self re-seeding.

You'll be eating tomatillo salsa and tomatillo stew every day!

The only problem is coming up with creative recipes for them. Mainly:

Slice them from into salads
Tomatillo green salsa
Tomatillo (+pork if you want) stew
Topping sauce for enchiladas.

This is because of homicide bombers bomb vest going off before they can get in to Israel, from stray bullets of "palestinian" guns, and houses of homicide bomb makers blowing up.

Also, the "palestinians" teach ALL "palestinian" children to hate Jews by the age of 2.

This is the only reason there is any blood being spilled anywhere near the area.

re: #76 Kragar (Proud to be Kafir)

Judging from the size of the Pali population, the Jews are about as successful when it comes to ethnic cleansings as the Washington Generals are when it comes to Basketball

I got a hot tip that they are going to take Globetrotters in the next game. Bet the ranch on it!

Ah good, you saw it.

Easy to grow in California/Mexico:

tomatoes
tomatillos
beans
zucchini/squash
cucumbers

zucchini takes some space, but is fun, too, and often very prolific.

Meanwhile, Palestinian terror groups fight over the claims of responsibility for injuring 15 Israelis in the rocket attack on Ashkelon.

Fighting over who gets "credit" for wounding (among others) two babies.

Going unsaid is the damage to the credibility and prestige of the United States.

Do you realise the contempt shown to the United States to fire at Israel while the President of the United States is visiting and then taking responsibility without any fear of retaliation from either Israel or the US.

If you were to drive by a Baptist church in Wisconsin, and the attendees suddenly streamed out screaming "kill the Paraguayans!", you'd have to wonder what the f**k was going on in that church...

You wouldn't wonder if the Baptist holy book described Paraguayans as the sons of dogs and pigs who needed to be killed.

You are very right about that. What happened to the good old days when the President used to take a fully armed Carrier Task Force with him when traveling?

RACIST!

I read that posting by Ruben Navarette claiming that not voting for Obama is racist.
Expect more of that. if crackers won't fall in line, then use White Guilt.
Hey I would vote for Denzel Washington, but liberals would not.
He would be smeared, called a 'Tom"& race traitor.

Its always about inverting the Holocaust, actually THE worst example of "ethnic cleansing" in recorded human history onto the Jews.

Of course the horrible irony is that the Muslims have always abused their Christian and Jewish minorities, and only "cleansed them a little" in occassional massacres, until pushing out most all of the Jews after 1948, and the Christians now. And if the Israelis really had done some ethnic cleansing (just push them to the border), as they would seem to have every right to do, they'd probably be a lot better off.

In fact, just wtf are these Indonesian wackos talking about - is it possible to even call it "ethnic cleansing" when Israel attacks, say, Gaza, which is a separate territory and nascent state? Not to mention the "attacks" are triggered by daily Palestinian attacks on Israeli civilians?

I'd rather talk about gardening, if you don't mind.

It is delicious!

I use "fake meat" (soy meat) instead of real pork and it's just as good. (I'm vegetarian.)

Here's the key to make it delicious:

Saute the onions and then pour in a bottle of beer! Seriously! Add the tomatillos and the other ingredients. Mmmmmmmm-mmmmmm.

What other ingedients? Hint hint.... :)

I'd be using "real meat" so would I use shredded pork - say from a pork roast?

I asked myself the same question some time ago when we had an Indonesian "death to the Jews" hatefest at some mosque or other. It occured to me that for the average Indonesian, a "Jew" is a purely abstract concept. If you were to drive by a Baptist church in Wisconsin, and the attendees suddenly streamed out screaming "kill the Paraguayans!", you'd have to wonder what the f**k was going on in that church...

I have a solution:

From now on, all rockets fired by those competing groups must be labeled clearly as to their origin, including latitude, longitude, name of organization, and location and name of rocket production facility. The labels shall be constucted so as to be impervious to storage conditions, extremes of temperature and humidity, and explosions. Before firing, and after completing a 20-point prelaunch quality check, the rocket launch coordinator and the lead rocket la
