Farrakhan Featured on Cover of Rev. Wright's Magazine Three Times

Wed, May 14, 2008 at 1:44:04 pm PDT

Tom Blumer does more research into Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s radical newsmagazine Trumpet, and discovers that only one person has appeared on the cover of the magazine as many times as Barack Obama—Louis Farrakhan.

Here’s one:

It's funny that the West Virginians that think that Obama is a muslim were denigrated in the press, while the so-called "Intelligent college educated" voter that has no frickin' clue what goes on in that church, does not see the blend of islam and Christianity, does not see what that reverend studied, or what NOI and islamic peeps Wright holds up for esteem, are considered the wise ones.

The closer we look, the more ties to Nation of Islam are found. This is really no surprise. For a "Christian" Church, Trinity put precious little emphasis on Christ. It put far more emphasis on race. It is not surprising that they found common ground with NoI.

It seems like the research into the Trumpet is haphazard -- whatever images and pictures people can scrounge up.

Surely, in some library somewhere, there is a complete archive of every issue.

Where?

If we can find it -- get used to the sound of President McCain.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. My research yesterday on the other cover thread, showed that Farrakhan was a common fixture on the Trinty landscape and often wrote articles on the "pastor's page", within the document.

dig deeper.

12 The Other Les  5/14/08 1:50:00 pm reply quote

A proper Christian publication could show a photo of Farrakhan on the cover, but it would include the words, "warning: false prophet." Or something like that.

But what do I know? I'm just a frakking atheist.

The other thread had some discussion on Obama's Jewish supporters. I would guess that the Farrakhan association wouldn't bother them at all.

Then again these are probably the kind of "Jews" who have to ask their non-Jewish co-workers what a "yalmulke" is.

19 offendi  5/14/08 1:52:27 pm reply quote

Well, all that goes to show is that when Obama gets the nomination
Louie Farrakhan, Rev. Wright, Teddy Kennedy, Al Sharpton, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid will all be up in the mother ship with the Messiah plotting his campaign.

Barry the Messiah's interesting association are really the gift that keeps on giving, election-wise.

Has anyone woke Johnny Maverick up yet?

P.S. Will George Clinton be performing at the democratic convention?

I forgot to add something important.

Obama's campaign will be all about race, not transcending it as he tried to sell himself earlier. It will be about the perceived race-haters and race-baiters because:

1) They don't want the public to scrutinize Obama's real lack of experience for the most powerful position in the world.

2) They don't want the public to really look at his associations because to do so would result in questioning his judgement and having people ask the question as to whether this so-called perfect candidate has a history of rank opportunism in order to advance himself.

3) They don't want the public to really think about his half-baked ideas on the economy and international affairs because they fail the common sense and smell tests, and put our country and future at risk.

Obama's campaign will be all about race. I would vote for a qualified african-american candidate, not for an un-qualified candidate because he is an african-american ( actually bi-racial ).

In a thread this morning I was telling everyone about my neighbor Lee who is a real good guy--African-American, Republican, Hardworking. I also have another neighbor across the street. A whole family of Nation of Islamers (lots of African garb and bow ties on Sunday). When they first moved in my then 9 year old daughter asked their 9 year old if she would like to play. The NOI daughter coldly stated "No, my mama don't want me playin with no white girls" Interesting neighborhood I live in eh? Oh yeah, these are exactly the kinds of people that I want the next POTUS associating with.

I'm not surprised Fuehrerkhan is one of their favorite cover subjects.
Wright did, after all, go to Libya with him, and give him an award.

And here is one big problem with Obama. If he is elected, he will legitimize this black enslavement theology, and Fuehrerkhan's NOI and its anti-Semitism.
Not that having Obama as poster idol for the MSM and the Damncrap party's presidential candiate haven't already legitimized them.

When a little anti-Semitism is legitimate, more follows.
As bad as Obama would be, if the country survives him, the next president could be far worse, and be an open anti-Semite.

PS. I was very embarrassed when I slipped and called my student-teacher "Sweetie" near the end of her time with me, but I had become rather fond of her. I apologized profusely, and she just laughed--she had gotten to know me by then.

Lou Reed's song "Good Evening, Mr. Waldheim"

For those who don't get youtube, it includes the lines

"If I ran for President and once was a member of the Klan
Would you call me on it, just like I call you on Farrakhan"

LOC will make copies, or send a pdf file. They charge for it, of course, but it's not terribly expensive.

Yes, but a person will have to wade through hundreds of issues to find the dirt, before they'd know what to request.

Not at the Library of Congress.

The only things that get mis-filed are heavy scholarly works by Baigent and Leigh.

re: #78 goddessoftheclassroom

I'm a Southern girl at heart, and I tend to call people I like endearments such as "sweetie,: "darlin'," "sweetheart," etc. HOWEVER, I would NEVER use such an endearment in a professional, business, or formal situation. Obama wasn't sexist as much as classless.

PS. I was very embarrassed when I slipped and called my student-teacher "Sweetie" near the end of her time with me, but I had become rather fond of her. I apologized profusely, and she just laughed--she had gotten to know me by then.

As long as you didn't call her "snookums".

Yup, that's it.

Wish I lived on the East Coast!

C'mon, east coast lizards. Bring a portable scanner and/or a digital camera with a "macro" setting and find every DAMNing thing that ever appeared there! And I'm sure there will be rich veins of outrageousness!

*No "retreat mining" mind you - we don't want anyone buried under that shit.

*(Not making fun of the tragedy at Crandall Canyon, may the Miners rest in peace.)
