I think Oprah has made a great contribution to the corruption of discourse in the US today. That said, suggesting that she is wrong in her political affiliations because she is being "ungrateful to the white women who put her where she is" is just as much racial/group thinking as anything spewed by the Reverend Wright.

Attacking Oprah for her stances--like her having "Palestinian" women on her show and making common cause with them--is fine, but attacking her for not following a nominally different racial lockstep is not.
