UN to Investigate Racism Against Barack Obama

Sat, May 17, 2008 at 9:16:56 am PDT

Coming to the rescue of Barack Obama—the United Nations “Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance,” to expose the bigotry and racism of the United States: U.N. racism investigator to visit U.S. from Monday.

GENEVA (Reuters) - A special U.N. human rights investigator will visit the United States this month to probe racism, an issue that has forced its way into the race to secure the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination.

The United Nations said Doudou Diene would meet federal and local officials, as well as lawmakers and judicial authorities during the May 19-June 6 visit.

“The special rapporteur will...gather first-hand information on issues related to racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance,” a U.N. statement said on Friday. [Well, yeah. That’s why they call him the “Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance.” – ed.]

His three-week visit, at U.S. government invitation, will cover eight cities — Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, Omaha, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance Doudou Diène was last seen at LGF when he was denouncing Denmark for racism—for publishing the dreaded cartoons of Mohammed: UN on Wrong Side of Cartoon Jihad.

I would LOVE to know just exactly who it is in the U. S. Government that invited this ass here. The UN has no power, no authority and absolutely NO place investigating squat in the United States of America. Whoever extended the "invitation" should be fired forthwith.

19 DistantThunder  Sat, May 17, 2008 9:22:39am

Are they going to investigate why black people won't vote for John McCain as racism? You realize that this means that most of liberal America is not mature enough to back a black candidate for president - because they interpret all opposition to him as racist. Obama as President could ruin the country - and anyone who spoke out against him would be tried for hate speech.

Here come the pogroms.

They will seek, they will find.

And if they don't find what they seek, they will change what they find.

Nothing like 3 weeks in America to discover what we are all about! Since they haven't understood the butchery that goes on even today in all parts of the world and throughout human history. Must be like Obama sitting in church...the hearing aid was turned off.

The Audacity of these hypocrites knows no bounds.

And so forth.

(However, I will say that titling the issue as an investigation of "racism against Barack Obama" is a bit of a reach.)

Doudou is from the Muslim country of Senegal....

The Government, at times, limited the freedoms of speech and association. Domestic violence and discrimination against women, female genital mutilation (FGM), child labor and trafficking in persons remained problems.
....
RADDHO and local press reported that on August 10 and 17, youth from the neighborhood of Dieuppeul III in Dakar attacked the Assembly of God of Bethel church.
...
There were credible reports that domestic violence against women, usually wife beating, was common. According to a study funded by the Canadian Center for International Research and Development done in Dakar and Kaolack in 1996, 87 percent of 515 women interviewed had suffered from some form of domestic violence.
...
FGM was not practiced by the Wolof, the largest ethnic group (43 percent of the population), but was performed on girls of most other ethnic groups. Sealing, one of the most extreme and dangerous forms of FGM, was sometimes practiced by the Toucouleur, Mandinka, Soninke, and Bambara, particularly in rural areas

A classic, from the article:

In a report last year he said Islamophobia had grown worldwide since the September 11 2001 attacks on the United States, carried out by al-Qaeda militants.

And:

Some 800 racially motivated incidents against people perceived to be Arab, Muslim, Sikh or South Asian had been investigated since the September 11 attacks, they said at the time.

I thought as much.

Here's another bit from that article:

Racial minorities were more likely than whites to be sentenced to death or to life without parole as juveniles, according to the U.N. Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Which is because....racial minorities are more likely to commit violent crimes. Another fact the U.N. doesn't want to mention.

How long before the U.N. decides that it's racist to punish minorities that commit crimes? And that anyone who suggests putting a minority in jail should go to jail himself? This is the U.N. we're talking about....

Do you think Obama would be anywhere near nomination if he were not a Black man? The only thing among these real racists in the Democrat party that could trump the first female president--and it looked like a sure thing, was to trump it with a candidate who was even more a minority.

They ran he because of his race, because they hated Hillary, not because of qualifications or party loyalty. And they created the racial dimension of this race. If Colin Powell running, no one would care about color. So they created a candidate and dared anyone to criticize him, knowing that anything anyone threw at him could be returned with the racial volley for which there was no answer.

This is racial politics, and not the good kind. This UN crap is to coattail the subject of racism that is getting media play and attaching Islamaphobia to it.
These people are parasitic to the core.

And after it is all over, we will still not know anything real about racism in America or anywhere else in the world. Worse then that, we are all probably the group paying for all of this.......

Art, business, culture, religion, way-of-thinking, everything has to be reconstructed.

This, in a very, very summed up way.
But he lays out strategies and the whole works.

Yeah...he was talking in terms of cultural hegemony as the key that maintains the capitalist state.

In Gramsci’s view, any class that wishes to dominate in modern conditions has to move beyond its own narrow ‘economic-corporate’ interests, to exert intellectual and moral leadership, and to make alliances and compromises with a variety of forces. Gramsci calls this union of social forces a ‘historic bloc’, taking a term from Georges Sorel. This bloc forms the basis of consent to a certain social order, which produces and re-produces the hegemony of the dominant class through a nexus of institutions, social relations and ideas. In this manner, Gramsci developed a theory that emphasized the importance of the superstructure in both maintaining and fracturing relations of the base.

Gramsci stated that, in the West, bourgeois cultural values were tied to Christianity, and therefore much of his polemic against hegemonic culture is aimed at religious norms and values. He was impressed by the power Roman Catholicism had over men's minds and the care the Church had taken to prevent an excessive gap developing between the religion of the learned and that of the less educated. Gramsci believed that it was Marxism's task to marry the purely intellectual critique of religion found in Renaissance humanism to the elements of the Reformation that had appealed to the masses. For Gramsci, Marxism could supersede religion only if it met people's spiritual needs, and to do so people would have to recognize it as an expression of their own experience.

For Gramsci, hegemonic dominance ultimately relied on coercion, and in a "crisis of authority" the "masks of consent" slip away, revealing the fist of force.

LSD was first synthesized on November 16, 1938 by a Swiss chemist named Dr. Albert Hofmann at the Sandoz Laboratories in Basel, Switzerland, as part of a large research program searching for medically useful ergot alkaloid derivatives.[5] Ergot is a fungus that, by infecting cereal grains used for making rye breads, causes ergotism.

We're so racist, a (half?) Black man is about to receive the Democrat nomination for president.
__________________________________________________ ___

Not even close to one half black. According to US law you have to be 12.50% to claim minority status :

Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian, that from his mother. What those who want Mr. Obama to write history by becoming "America's first African-American president" ignore is that his father was ethnically Arabic, with only 1 relative ethnically African Negro - a maternal great-grandparent (Sen. Obama's great-great grandparent, thus the 6.25% ethnic contribution to the senator's ethnic composition.).

That means that Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side. He is 43.75% Arabic, and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side.

Put another way, his father could honestly claim African-American ethnic classification. He was the last generation able to do so.
Here's the link, read down:[Link: kennethelamb.blogspot.com...]

In other words, Obama is not African/American, he's African/Arabian.

By the way, the US government invited the UN to "oversee" the last presidential election too. This isn't new, although the 'racism' angle is.

I disagree. It's not so new.

"We feel that the problem, number 1, of the black man in America is beyond America's ability to solve. It's a human problem not an American problem or a negro problem, and as a human problem or a world problem, we feel that it should be taken out of the jurisdiction of the United State government and the United States Courts, and taken into the United Nations in the same manner that the problems of the black man in South Africa and Angola and other parts of the world, and even the way they are trying to bring the problems of the Jews in Russia into the United Nations becasue of violations of human rights. We believe that our problem is one not of violation of civil rights but a violation of human rights. Not only are we denied the right to be a citizen in the United States, we are denied the right to be a human being."

I think this Wikipedia entry is very interesting...regarding intellectuals:

Intellectuals and Education

Gramsci gave much thought to the question of the role of intellectuals in society. Famously, he stated that all men are intellectuals, in that all have intellectual and rational faculties, but not all men have the social function of intellectuals. He claimed that modern intellectuals were not simply talkers, but directors and organisers who helped build society and produce hegemony by means of ideological apparati such as education and the media. Furthermore, he distinguished between a 'traditional' intelligentsia which sees itself (wrongly) as a class apart from society, and the thinking groups which every class produces from its own ranks 'organically'. Such 'organic' intellectuals do not simply describe social life in accordance with scientific rules, but rather articulate, through the language of culture, the feelings and experiences which the masses could not express for themselves. The need to create a working-class culture relates to Gramsci's call for a kind of education that could develop working-class intellectuals, who would not simply introduce Marxist ideology from without the proletariat, but rather renovate and make critical of the status quo the already existing intellectual activity of the masses. His ideas about an education system for this purpose correspond with the notion of critical pedagogy and popular education as theorized and practised in later decades by Paulo Freire in Brazil and have much in common with the thought of Frantz Fanon. For this reason, partisans of adult and popular education consider Gramsci an important voice to this day.

And when you look at the context of the Creationism and Evolutionism in teaching schools...you can see that in a different light...

Marxists definitely believe in evolutionism.

Note the nuance of my using the world EVOLUTIONISM versus the theory of evolution...

One is an application of the theory and one is the theory itself.

Oh Oh.

Then 9/11 allowed the cold war to be replaced with a war of cultures. These cultures are the east and the west. In the US, the war between the east and the west is so far removed in countries like Iraq and Afghanistan, that Americans can't put a face to the people being harmed.

The best procedure to avoid charges of racism would be to turn the entire procedure over to a UN committee which could include Robert Mugabe-to avoid black racism charges, Muammar al-Gaddafi-to insure against any Islamophobia accusations, Hugo Chavez-to guarantee that illegal aliens are accorded their rights.

In reality, more times than not the "fear" of what might happen is much worse than that which actually does. Although, not always as I believe even some paranoid people really do have enemies and is also why people buy insurance.

I'm occasionally asked, "Don't you care what people think about you?" after commenting on something I've heard, seen, read, etc. My response is always the same. "Depends on the people." :)

That blog is the only place I've seen that assertion, and here's the guy's "proof":

Need proof? Research the Kenyan records for yourself.

And this:

My goal in this is to provoke other information enterprises to launch their own research guided by the map I laid out in the article. I told everyone where to go look for the records - the Kenyan government! I've spelled out to everybody where to find the correct filing cabinet - now I hope someone will open the drawer on their own and report what they find.

He says he's under legal constraints that prevent him from going further. And nobody has responded to his "provocation." Until somebody does, I can't give this story any credence.

The burning of the Gypsy shantytowns says something interesting...and not good...about Europeans.

Muslims immigrants are robbing, rioting, burning cars, shooting at police and emergency workers, intimidating, bullying, and even killing Jews, defacing Jewish cemetaries and synagogues, and RAPING EUROPEAN WOMEN, but this does not cause Europeans to rise up in rage.

I'm not suggesting Europeans should be burning Muslim neighborhoods. Nor am I excusing the actions of the Gypsy woman. But why does this act elicit such an overwhelming response, essentially an act of collective punishment against the Gypsy community?

Easy.

Because Gypsies are powerless.

Because Gypsies don't have their own agency at the UN.

Because Gypsies don't have Saudi Arabia and Iran and the rest of the Islamic world standing beside them.

Europeans, as they have in the past, are again taking out their frustrations on those they perceive as weak and powerless. It's so much safer than challenging anyone who might really fight back.

I'm so glad that 911 is coming up again. Liberals need a bucket of cold water to the face every year to remind them of the true genocidal maniacs in the world - who kill people who want to talk.

Women and Children found in Mass graves in Iraq

They had been bussed into the desert BY SADDAM in 2005, stood in front of pre-dug graves - and machine-gunned into the graves - some then buried alive. They were holding their toys, pacifiers, and belongings.

I am furious at liberals and Democrats for allowing this - TOLERATING this!
Enablers are MONSTERS, too.

The non-acidic soil at the grave site preserved layers and layers of distinctive Kurdish clothing worn by many of the victims, suggesting that they may have piled on their best clothes expecting to be relocated, investigators said.

Authorities showed reporters some of the remains, including the skull of an older woman with pink dentures and the skeleton of a teenage girl clutching a bag of possessions.

"These were not combatants," said Gregg Nivala, a member of a U.S. team investigating crimes committed by Hussein's government and assisting the tribunal. "These were women and children."

The grave actually is a series of 18 trenches, which investigators say they believe Iraqi forces dug with front loaders and maintained for systematic executions.

Investigators said that women and children were forced to stand at the edge of the pits, then shot with AK-47 assault rifles. Casings were found near the site, they said.

"They sprayed people with bullets so they fell back" into the graves, Iraq's human rights minister, Bakhtyar Amin, told reporters.

I'm ready to run for office - I am so d@mn sick of the War Wimps - enough is enough - Obama must pay for inciting such cowardice in our population - pay by losing his bid as president in the most humiliating way - a total route.

re: #318 Tigger2005

Not quite.
Thats a generalisation too far.
Most muslims (and the car-burning ones especially) are second- or third-generation citizens of the states they live in, like France, Britain, germany.

Gypsies, in this case in Napoli, those from Romania, are illegal immigrants, who have as such no right to be there, and as Romania is now a member of the EU, have no need of political asylum.
Regarding them as a week minority (which they are) who therefore must be protected, even against the welfare of the original citizens, is a typical leftoid attitude.

It is precisely because the dierse governments have been unable to deal with illegal immigrants and false asylum seekers, that the native citizens now, at least in Italy, make their wishes known in a drastic fashion - which I do not for a minute condone.

Using this as a means of criticise all of Europe on their attitude to muslims is way off the mark.

There has been a racism evident so far in this presidential campaign. Almost all of it has been coming FROM the Obama camp and Obama supporters. Apparently, it is racist to NOT want the Obamessiah as our next president. If he were white, he'd have been out of the running long ago. And there's no way to explain that 90+ percent of African American voters support Obama - except for racism. And the news media - along with the candidates themselves - are constantly bombarding us with racial and socioeconomic analysis of which group is voting for which candidate.

No matter the outcome of the election, there will be charges of racism. Obama is banking on it.

Here's some insight into the quality of 'rapporting' by the UN special rapporteurs:

"Doudou Diene, Special Rapporteur on racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, said the Council should look at its strategy on this issue, taking into account that this was an issue that was long lasting, and required a long-term strategy. The complexity of religious plurality should be taken into account. There should be no dogmatism of the secular approach being used to manipulate religious freedom.
Asma Jahnagir, Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief, said she thought that the current climate of intolerance was more of a political nature rather than legal. Acts of intolerance in the recent past had provided a useful lesson in the sense that there was a political cost to be paid when people in a position of power in government and congress made offensive remarks. Infringements on the freedom of religion or belief, though, had to be denounced and combated at all levels of society."

The bolded quote appears to be Doudou's way of arguing that the UN should not criticize (in a secular way) any activity sanctioned by religious belief. Who might he be protecting? I think he's on the jihadi side.

I'm a little late to this thread, but can someone explain this to me? I don't get it. What is this reporter supposed to actually do? What's he looking at in these cities? Why these cities?

What, if any, jurisdiction does this person have and what are they supposed to do or say if they "find racism?"

Who is leading them around and "showing them things?"

Someone? ? ?

368 ContraJihadi  Sat, May 17, 2008 11:47:15am

I am late to the thread, so my apologies if this has already been mentioned. But doesn't it seem that McCain's people can exploit this? I can see something along the line of: Get the U.N. out of our country's politics! Vote McCain, retain our sovereignty! (Although this one might conflict with his stance on immigration.)

I am sure the professionals can invent better slogans, but there must a groundswell of resentment among the electorate just begging to be tapped. This interference from the U.N., obviously to benefit one person in the race, is beyond outrageous. And who is the fifth columnist who invited this intrusion?

OT: kinda....

I've taken notice to the rise of various "agenda-driven" groups offering training or presentations, to various law enforcement agencies throughout the country, at all levels.

CAIR "training" FBI

TSA's hajj sensitivity training

The SPLC offering "Exremist Training" to law enforcement agencies where they "focus on the history, background, leaders and activities of far-right extremists in the U.S."

and more.

The scales (pardon the lizard pun) seem to be tipping to the Left. Are there any "counters" to this phenomenon from the Right? Or, do Charles' and other like-minded anti-idiotarians, comprise the "front lines" so to speak?

As far as McCain exploiting this? Yes, he could, No, he won't. The job of politicians today is slooooow change, if any. Present politicians won't go around stirring people up and have something start, gain momentum, and take on a life of its own that THEY can't control. Not saying it can't happen, but just that it won't ever be intentionally initiated by today's political class. They have too much invested in the status quo for sudden change, regardless of how badly wanted by the people who pay them. Errr..uh...wanted by the people that elected them. That's better. :)

Reference: the Border fence, illegal immigration, domestic energy production/exploration, tax code, non-prosecution of people caught red-handed engaged in treason, foreign aid to anti-US regimes, etc.

I think fully 80% of Americans all fall on the same side of these issues however, it obviously matters not to our elected representatives. Not yet anyway.

Here's an example:
"In the Dakar meeting, the delegates will also review a report of a seminar of experts on the prevention of ethnic and racial conflicts in Africa, held last October in Addis-Ababa, Ethiopia. At that seminar, the experts said that historical factors such as the slave trade, administrative policies and actions of colonialism, concomitant with arbitrary delimitation of boundaries, have had negative effects on economic and social development and created breeding grounds for ethnic and racial conflicts.* The experts found that ethnic conflicts in Africa also originated from systematic and widespread violations of human rights, the absence of democracy, and the politicization of race, ethnicity and discrimination. The role of foreign interests was linked to the exploitation of mineral resources and the arms trade."

It's just a matter of 'turning it up to 11,' so to speak.

There's a legitimately stupid thing happening here -- the UN is using the excuse of a presidential-election 'issue' to poke its pointy finger in America's collective eye. He'll conduct a so-called investigation of broad racism in a whole spectrum of cities. Which is ridiculous. But no, I didn't see anything in the report of 'racism against Barack Obama.'

Like I said, that's just turning it up to 11. Just a tad overreaching, in my opinion. But the foundation of the UN's interference is laughable, nonetheless.

LOL! Funny, now that you mention it, it does kind of read that way. I think something gets lost in the translation to 1's and 0's. I wouldn't characterize it as malaise as malaise to me at least has an element of hopelessness to it. I'm optimistic there will be a positive change ::channeling Obama:: however, in my lifetime. I don't think it will be one without its own pains.

Giving birth to new life is painful. Medication to numb the pain, merely suppresses the body's ability to recognize pain, it does nothing to alleviate the physiological changes, (stretching of things that aren't used to being stretched, etc.) that are actually causing it in the first place.

Same thing politically. All this present discomfort I believe is rooted in optimism, and hope that "Yeah, things might not be like they were in the brochure, but that's okay, because we're not stuck here. We have the capability to make things better." We just have to fight through our current pain meds of "American Idol, the Stanley Cup playoffs, and whether or not Brittany has any underwear on" and get on with the business of "giving birth."

Please don't take this talk of political birth as an endorsement for the current chick running for President. Because, it ain't. :)

THIS is the guy that's going to investigate racism in our country?!? Someone who believes this:

The ethical dimension of culture is centred in values and unfortunately, all too often, this dimension is being refused. Without accepting the value of diverse cultures, the ethical side is refused.

Is not fit to investigate any such thing. If we don't accept the values of other "diverse cultures" (seems like he's suggesting that only brown skinned people can be diverse), we can't understand them, and are therefore racist?

And this:

Mr. Diene used a second African proverb to discuss racism as it has existed in the Western white world:

"The white man only sees what he knows." I other words, those who are closed to diversity, can not see the richness of diversity. To combat racism you must choose to see what you do not know.

Again, whites aren't "diverse". We're closed to it, and can't see it. He is assigning thoughts and beliefs to an entire group of people based solely upon their skin color. Project much, DouDou?

Muslims celebrate their victim status....

OIC to adopt ‘memorial day' for massacres against Muslims

Notice they're only concerned about non-muslims killing Muslims. Muslim on Muslim violence is just peachy.

O how heavily the sorrow weighs on my heart when I think how previous generations resisted advancing Islamic missionary brigades simply trying to bring Allah's blessings to these ignorant people. Think of the muscle cramps caused to the sword bearing holy men as raving barbarians got in the way of their blades. Think of how many holy men were sexually injured and even killed in heroic efforts to enlarge the moon god's gene pool.

Even today martyrs are lost simply because the infidels refuse to commit collective suicide. Think of those overworked djinn who have to do overtime to produce all those virgins for the gardens. (They are robots but the shahid must remain ignorant of this fact.)

Bring the proposition out of the OIC and to the UN where it will surely be adopted by god's emissaries. Let the sainted Imam Obama bring the good news to the heretical Americans as their one last chance for Allah's mercy.

800 incidents have been investigated. I'm betting it's roughly like this: 300 were trivial---snarky remark, rude stare, whatever. 200 turned out to be fraudulent. 280 were real: some guy tipped the turban of a Muslim at a grocery store and said something about we don't want your type here. Such incidents are regrettable but at most on a par with bar fights concerning football teams. And finally we have maybe a couple dozen real incidents that qualify as genuine and serious hate crimes. The law slaps the offender down good and hard.

300 million Americans. 7 years. That's 2.1 billion man-years of conduct. And in all that, we have, what, a few dozen honest to goodness hate crimes? Mr. Doudou is pretty much on a snark hunt here, trying to find the heart of darkness in the U.S.

I can see the results. The US overwhelmingly votes for McCain, and the UN declares the results racist, and refuses to recognize the new administration.
This gives McCain the edge to push the UN out of the US, and create the League of Democracies he's talking about.
The former UN moves to Shitholeistan, and keeps criticizing the US and Israel, while all the civilized countries ignore it. Jimmy Carter becomes Secretary-General.
All the worthless UN hacks are gone, and the League of Democracies actually does take care of oppression by the dictatorial regimes, and supports democracies against their dictatorial neighbors. With a real force for good, it becomes obvious even to liberals that there is an axis of evil, and it was exorcised from the US when the UN left.

GENEVA (Reuters) - A special U.N. human rights investigator will visit the United States this month to probe racism, an issue that has forced its way into the race to secure the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination.

Yes, of course, because probing allegations of racism within a peaceful (read: non-violent) bid for the democrat nomination is far more worthy of the attention of an U.N. human rights investigator than, say, that of unlawful combatants (read: terrorists) who launch several rockets into civilian population centers (read: innocent humans) on a daily basis.

Then they should raise the voting age back up to 21. If you are old enough to vote and old enough to die in service to your country you are old enough to have a beer.

Two things:

When you make something like having a beer absolutely verboten to teenagers, I can guarantee you that the very first thing the majority of them will do is go find one.

The irresponsibility and bad behavior of the current crop of teens is a result of no discipline in the schools and even lousier parenting. It isn't the fault of the beer.

Still, the Segway is the stupidest invention since the Led Zeppelin. Dynamic balancing works for jets where 99.99% of the energy goes for speed anyway, but on a Segway, the idiotic balance takes something like 50%, and the you-lean control system makes it far less responsive than hand controls.

But I suppose the Segway is kewl, if you have a certain kind of brain, and this doolie unicycle motorcycle is even kewler. Better wear full armor, tho!

The main social problem with young drinkers is that they drive.
I realize it would highly impractical to change the norm, but I would rather allow a kid to drink at 16 and drive at 21 than vice versa.

I am inclined to agree that the drinking age should be lowered to 18.....and I wish we could simultaneously raise the driving age to 18 as well. Illegal drinkers are a greater menace on the roads than legal ones.
Note that people of legal drinking age drink at bars, clubs, or private houses. They do not drink in their cars or drive to a secluded spot to drink. IOW, legal drinking doesn't revolve around the automobile.

I also think making drinking the ultimate mark of adulthood gives it too much symbolic power. All countries have problems with alcohol abuse, mind you, but I am not aware of any country where drinking is so inflated in importance in youth culture.

There is one - Great Britain ... Here, the aim of teens and young adults, that is from age 15 to 30, is to get utterly drunk, every weekend.
The teenagers buy stuff from supermarkets and drink in the parks, the others in the pubs. Inner cities are no-go zones Friday to Sunday evenings and nights for us normal citizens.

Violence, accidents, all have increased, as has vandalism. Young women now turn up with cirrhosis of the liver in hospitals ...

Yes - its not the beer which is damaging, its the drinking culture and, as far as teenagers are concerned, the parents who cannot control their offspring.

this uprising and vengeance happening in Italy could mark the beginning of trouble all over europe. citizens left unprotected by their leaders will eventually take matters into their own hands. anger is brewing and incredibly one small thing can spark the kind of incendiary situation we see in italy. politicians take notice.

Left unprotected? Actively being persecuted and intimidated you mean! At least here in Holland with this business of the cartoonist who got arrested, had his house ransacked , his computer and other stuff confiscated and was forced to remove 8 cartoons from his website without any court having been involved, just on the order of the DA. Good grief. How long until we hear the jackboots marching in the streets again? The intimidation of people using the right of free speech to criticize government, muslims and the EU has started.

People are fed up, and yes, there will be violence. Last week we had "youths" attacking people who are enjoying the sunshine on the beach (threatening girls, calling them names, raping one, carrying knifes, stealing, destroying property, saying they will be back and it will be "a long, hot summer" etc. They travel by train from Amsterdam to the beach, but of course our lame police force and politicians are helpless to do anything except blather. What are we supposed to do, roll over and die?

Europeans better start learning how to defend themselves and their property, because their stupid "leaders" are not only not helping them, they are working for the enemy.
