Al Arabiya Goes Nuts Over Koran Shooting

Maybe we’ll get that seethe-fest after all.

Arab satellite channel Al Arabiya is really stoking the flames over this Koran-shooting incident. Here’s the English version of their article; notice the photograph and caption. The soldier is pointing his gun toward a mosque in the distance: US soldier removed from Iraq for shooting Quran.

Muslim Scholars says it is a sign of US hate towards Muslims

The Arabic version of the story, however, makes sure to include several pictures of a Koran with bullet holes. (Almost certainly not the same Koran.)

(Hat tip: Abu Lahab, who emailed that the Arabic comments section is “disgusting beyond belief.”)
