Well the kissing thing is probably more European and Middle Eastern. Chatting about this with my friends the other day, I realized that all the men in my family kissed each other's cheeks upon greeting and the females in my family kiss on the lips. (aunts, uncles, cousins) I'm just a white Jewish gal, 2nd generation born in the states. So for me, I wouldn't really call that feminine behavior, quite normal amongst the manly men in my famly (you know, as opposed to the girly men hehe).
