 RetweetUrban Outfitters Glorifies Terrorism

Tue, May 20, 2008 at 8:23:09 am PDT

The clothing chain Urban Outfitters has been featured before at LGF, when they began selling the Palestinian kaffiyeh as a hip, stylish accessory, but this time they’ve stepped way over the line — with an openly anti-Israel T-shirt that glorifies Palestinian terrorism and child abuse.

This is really sick. UrbanOutfitters.com - Fresh Jive Victimized Tee.

What is wrong with these people?

Here’s the contact page at Urban Outfitters.

UPDATE at 5/20/08 8:28:09 am:

The reader who emailed about this outrage pointed to a Facebook page where someone posted an email from the maker of the shirt:

From: [redacted]

In regards to the Victimized T:

Expressing our view that the Palestinians are victims/have been victimized.
It is not an “anti-Israel” statement.

I appreciate your inquiry.

Thanks. Regards,
RICK

The essence of Christianity is told us in the Garden of Eden history. The fruit that was forbidden was on the tree of knowledge. The subtext is, All the suffering you have is because you wanted to find out what was going on. You could be in the Garden of Eden if you had just kept your mouth shut and hadn't asked any questions. -- Playboy Interview, April 1993
