Obama Delegate from Washington: Former Gitmo Muslim Chaplain Yee

Tue, May 20, 2008 at 2:37:08 pm PDT

In loony left nexus Olympia, Washington, Democrat precinct representatives have now elected as a delegate for Barack Obama former Gitmo Muslim chaplain James Yee.

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — A former Army chaplain at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, who was cleared of spy accusations will be a delegate to the Democratic National Convention.

Former Capt. James J. Yee, a Muslim, was among the delegates pledged to Sen. Barack Obama who were elected by precinct representatives Saturday. He’s representing the state’s 9th Congressional District at the party’s convention in Denver in August.

The West Point graduate was accused in 2003 of being part of a spy ring at the U.S. prison for suspected terrorists in Guantanamo Bay. After spending 76 days in solitary confinement, he was exonerated, resigned from the Army and received an honorable discharge.

The Associated Press is up to their usual tricks with this one. According to our post back on March 20, 2004, Yee was certainly not exonerated or cleared; the charges were dropped, according to Maj. Gen. Geoffrey D. Miller, commander of Joint Task Force Guantanamo, because there were “national security concerns that would arise from the release of the evidence” if the case proceeded.

Recently, James Yee appeared on Syrian television to describe the horrors of Guantanamo Bay, even though he never actually witnessed any horrors: Video: Former Gitmo Muslim Chaplain on Koran Desecration.

Looks like a perfect delegate for Barack Obama.

Obama was not aware of Yee's beliefs, because he did not attend Yee's church that particular Sunday.

He can no more disown Yee than he can disown his own white grandmother, who has told some hair-raising lies about Guantanamo in her time, and attempted to abscond with confidential information on her laptop on several occasions.

And when you all are referring to Yee as a "traitor", you're really referring to Obama, aren't you? That is disgraceful! No, wait... you're referring to his wife! This is like a modern day Klan lynching!

Add this to the list of things you can't say about Obama.

With Obama we started out, we couldn't talk about his big ears 'cause that made him nervous. We've gone from that to this: Not only can we not mention his ears...

We can't talk about his mother.

We can't talk about his father.

We can't talk about his grandmother unless he does, brings her up as a "typical white person."

We can't talk about his wife, can't talk about his preacher, can't talk about his terrorist friends, can't talk about his voting record, can't talk about his religion.

We can't talk about appeasement.

We can't talk about color; we can't talk about lack of color.

We can't talk about race. We can't talk about bombers and mobsters who are his friends. We can't talk about schooling. We can't talk about his name, "Hussein."

We can't talk about his lack of experience. Can't talk about his income. Can't talk about his flag pin.

This started out we can't call him a liberal.

It started out we just couldn't talk about his ears.

Sorry, I don't know how to make this a link. This article is from AP. Here is a quote from the article:

"Orthodox Jews have burned hundreds of New Testaments in the latest act of violence against Christian missionaries in Israel."

They make it seem like there's some kind of problem with violence against Christians in Israel, which I'm pretty sure is BS! And, although I would say book burning is not exactly a productive use of one's time, I wouldn't equate it with violence! This article is seriously making my blood boil.

Additional Reading: CAIR and James Yee’s Dog and Pony Show

November 13, 2005

CAIR and James Yee’s Dog and Pony Show

The Los Angeles (USA) chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-LA) recently co-sponsored the “James Yee Speaking Tour”.

The tour, a veritable “dog and pony show” reportedly is showcasing how Yee was “targeted” based on his faith and ethnicity.

For those who may not recall, James Yee is the former Army officer who served as Muslim Chaplain to troops and detainees at the Naval Station, Guantanamo, Cuba.

Following his tour at Guantanamo, Yee was arrested on return to the United States when customs inspectors found suspicious documents in his luggage...documents that Yee had no rational reason for possessing.

Yee was charged with stealing classified documents which were found on his return to the United States...and he is defended by CAIR. Just what does this say about CAIR...and what does it say about Yee?

Let’s recap:

Yee, who received a significant amount of his Islamic training in Syria, a rogue, terrorist-supporting nation, was caught at the airport with classified documents in his possession.

However, he stated he did not have any reason to view classified documents, although he did have the security clearance to do so. (This is not entirely truthful, although a member of the military may have the requisite security clearance to read classified material, they must also have a “need to know”. A security clearance does not allow the holder to choose the classified documents they wish to view.)

According to a Courant article, “Yee says he wants the results of the Pentagon's investigation to be released.”I never had anything to do with classified documents, and I want people to know that. This investigation has been very devastating to all of us."”

What does the Army have to say about the Yee affair?

Major General Geoffrey Miller cited “national security concerns that would arise from the release of evidence” as the reason the case was dropped. An Army counterintelligence officer stated that the sensitive information Yee possessed included information on detainees and interrogators, and could have been used to harm U.S. personnel.

The Associated Press reported that when they questioned Defense Department officials about the Yee case, the agency refused to comment on the grounds that it does not discuss ongoing cases.

So, while Yee proclaims his innocence and the Defense Department stays silent about an “ongoing case”, we are left to wonder: is Yee truly “Not Guilty”? Judging by his public statements and the rantings of CAIR, Americans have a reason to wonder...

Time will tell ...

Liar James Yee interview:

Q: What is your opinion of Guantanamo Bay today?

A: Camp Delta in which Al-Qaeda and Taliban detainees are held has revealed a dark side to the war against terrorism and it has also revealed through what is being published worldwide that our reputation as a just state has been deeply affected. The camp in and of itself is a stigma for the US and is responsible for making the majority of Muslims the world over hate America.

Q: What did you witness in the detention camp during your period of service?

A: I saw Muslims who had strayed and were misguided and who had bowed under pressure %uE83A but I did not encounter any terrorists because the real terrorists were detained elsewhere. I witnessed human rights violations with my own eyes and I once saw a guard rip copies of the Holy Quran.

Exit Poll from Kentucky -

Barak O'Carter has a big problem

As for the Clinton backers in Kentucky, 41 percent of them say they will back McCain if Obama is the Democratic nominee, 23 percent said they won’t vote at all, and 3 percent said they would vote for other candidates.

O'Carter has no chance in Kentucky in the fall, but this reflects deepening sentiment among Reagan Democrats.

While it is completely off-topic, Kipling's poem "McAndrews Hymn" is the first example that I know of, of the dour Scots engineer.

And no, there are no dilithium crystals; he never says "Ye canna change the laws of physics"; nor does he say "The engines canna take any more, Captain"

Lord, Thou hast made this world below the shadow of a dream,
An', taught by time, I tak' it so - exceptin' always Steam.
From coupler-flange to spindle-guide I see Thy Hand, O God -
Predestination in the stride o' yon connectin'-rod.
John Calvin might ha' forged the same - enorrmous, certain, slow -
Ay, wrought it in the furnace-flame - my "Institutio."

Watch it - can't say voodoo; it's potentially racist.

You know, it is strange.

The thought never entered my mind - I was thinking of the scene in Blazing Saddles, which just happens to be about racism.

Helluva choice for the parents to make, but at least she has a chance.

In a Hitlery/Obama Government Health Care system, there wouldn't be any Dr. Ben Carsons since most med school students couldn't afford to pay off their student loans earning government wages.

I always thought "Bertha Vanation" was a good stripper name.

Brings to mind a formula I know for coming up with your Pr0n name. It is simple. Your Pr0n name is the name of your first pet (first name) followed by the street you grew up on (last name). For example..... my Pr0n name is Teddy Scheffer.

Fabulous poem. I'd never seen it

And yes when today I start a car engine, or any engine, I try to remember to give thanks

re: #245 savage_nation

I saw that ship in Philadelphia when I made a pickup right at the next berth. That was an incredible sight. I hope they get that ship running again.

The most recent pictures I've seen are quite sad. But it would take a lot of money to get her running again. The engines would have to be replaced to make it economical.

Photos of the engine room of the liberty ship SS Jeremiah O'brien

McAndrews would feel at home there, but not with the turbines in the United States.

She's not operable now. Not useful for cargo, either. The Ro-ro (roll on, roll off) ships are used for cargo, and we use planes for the soldiers, Marines, etc.
The ro-ro ships are about the only US-registered and US-manned cargo ships any more, and they are subsidized, with the requirement that they can be requisitioned as needed.

Had the media done its job (bwaaahhahahahahaha!), Obama would have gone the way of Luap Nor a long time ago. Instead, they coronated him as President from the start. Now, even if a few of them are questioning that choice, they'll never admit it.

Although Sam Donaldson's slamming Obama for putting his wife on the stump, then saying she can't be criticized, was surprising and refreshing.

Lizards,

Have you noticed who these "SUPER-DELEGATES" are? This Muslim Chaplain & even "Peanut Farmer," Jimmy Carter are SUPER-DELEGATES!

I get fed up about hearing about this "torture" issue! If my family was in peril by one of these Islamo-Nazis, I will break hands and everything in the book to stop these madmen from destroying this country along with my family and friends.

And besides, in Revelation of the Bible, God will be doing TORTURE to people WHO MADE FUN OF CHRISTIANS AND MURDERED CHRISTIANS.

Also, just watch the media will spin this in which Sen. Obama will be like a Teflon pan. Problems will "slide off" of him.
