Zomblog: Moonbats Hatin' John Yoo

Tue, May 20, 2008 at 4:07:51 pm PDT

At Zomblog, a photo essay on the hate fest for law professor John Yoo at UC Berkeley: Anti-John Yoo protest at Boalt Hall law school graduation.

It’s a convergence of the hysterical “torture!” ninnies and the 9/11 Troofers.

That's because when conservatives say it, it's not really free speech, but the manifestation of the global zionist conspiracy.

Linky from list of Carl in Jerusalem asks if Israel will use bunker buster bombs against the tunnels into Gaza. But, why? Bombs are expensive, sapper charges can do pretty much the same, delivered by truck at a much cheaper price. Less surprise, but I'm not sure if that's the issue.

Of course, Israel might want to use them as a demonstration or a test, or maybe it's not so easy to drive a truck where they need to deliver them.

Israel was without bunker busters in the last Lebanon war, so some kind of test/demonstration seems appropriate, if not terribly overdue.

While talking leftist propaganda ...

Hugh Hewitt has just brought attention to the fact that Obama's record size rally was not just to hear Obama speak.

It was a free concert by The Decemberists, who rarely play live gigs.

This simple google search shows how word got around and drew the crowd.

Yet the media haven't mentioned it - they simply oggle at the size of the crowd and the picture of Obama on a stage - a stage sized for a band, not a politician.

This is the media at work using Potemkin techniques and propagandizing an election.

Hillary's ego would never let her play second fiddle to Obama for eight years. It will just never happen. She'll be 70 in 2016 when her turn comes.

Asians, who make up less than 10% of the California population, apparently aren't a "minority."

The LLL address this problem with the new acronym "UM" -- Underrepresented Minority.

Since Cal is now something like 55% Asian, and they out-perform, out-study, out-grade and out-earn everyone else, with zero whining involved, the Left had to redefine terms.

If, however, you are a Hmong gang member or a Filipina lesbian, then you re-earn your "minority" status.

Seemingly, in order to be a "true" minority, the group must be angry, unassimilated, and dysfunctional. On the day that leftists manage to qualify most of us for those categories, the remaining 1% of Ayn Rand-like competent diehards will be classified, using moonbat math, as the "majority." At least so long as they have anything left worth stealing.

I've always said that Israel (and America's) greatest historical crime, in the eyes of the left, was being competent and successful.

If Yoo and Gitmo were products of a Democratic administration, there would be no protests, and everyone at this rally would have no problem with any of it.

This is strictly anti-Bush theatrics for the promotion of their political pals.

All morality is party-dependent with these transparent clowns.

Where were such moonbats during the Rwanda genocide under Clinton or the former-Yugoslavia air strikes (Serbia, Kosovo, etc.) and Balkans Occupation (still ongoing) or any number of previous Dem military actions?

If Obama or Hillary were president, these bozos would be quietly abetting everything they now find "outrageous" and "treason" and "torture".

The BP furries pic (with masks) is a keeper. what's the story behind them?

The University of California signed an agreement to work cooperatively with British Petroleum on a project to create alternative energy sources. A small coterie of nutballs thinks the agreement is eeeevilll, because BP is an eeeevvilll corporation and there shouldn't be any partnerships between private industry and public universities. And these two particular nutballs have devoted their lives to protesting this agreement. Can you imagine? I suppose they're schizophrenic.

Never mind that the project is supposed to create clean energy and break our addiction to oil. It's eeeviilllll by definition!

What I don't understand is how did those moon-bats get to be so crazy?

They have found their own weird niche in the moonbat world. It seems like all these moonbats are competing to see who can come up with the most bizarre act.
