I'm definitely nervous about this Obamamania. The conditions seem strikingly similar to the 1976 Race. Ford was managing the end of what the public perceived as a military failure, gas prices were sky rocketing. And along came this no one. Yesterday I organized a business networking party in New York. The owners of the location had a big Obama sign on the door. I asked them to take it down, because I didn't want my event to be associated with politics in any way. The owner refused. He said 80 percent of the people at my event were going to be Obama supporters anyway. Then he asked if I didn't support Obama because he was black.
