Media Matters Attacks the Associated Press

Wed, Jun 4, 2008 at 8:08:57 pm PDT

How far left is Media Matters laughingstock Eric Boehlert? So far left he thinks the Associated Press is pandering to right-wingers, and advocates a coordinated attack and smear job against, of all people, AP Democratic partisan hack Nedra Pickler: Media Matters - Bloggers go to bat for Obama.

Because unless you’re completely bugeyed nuts, you can’t play in the Media Matters sandbox.

That kind of media shortcoming has become predictable; reporters love to quote partisan Republicans about how deficient Democrats are.

LOL- how delusional can one person be?

7 Mars Needs Neocons  Wed, Jun 4, 2008 8:11:53pm

This is the reason I want Hillary to stay in until they shut the lights off on her. The more bitter the left gets the more unhinged they become. A massive division in the donk party won't hurt my feelings a bit.

If the tape exists (and I don't want to get my hopes up), and if it says, substantially, what the rumors suggest, or even 66% of the rumors are right, it might be time for a "See I told you so" moment for someone with initials HRC.

It's really something to witness a Presidential contest, where a candidate like Obama, having surrounded himself with Israel haters for years, including most, if not all of his current advisor's, making statements like, "we need to do more for the poor Palestinians," and then, once he seems to have locked up the nomination, he says he's a true friend of Israel, and according to anyone who isn't fast asleep, they believe him.

Unreal!

It's like the firearms issue, Obama has never once put together legislation, or voted for law abiding firearms owners rights, he has either championed legislation and voted 100% anti-gun since he's been in politics, and every vote he has cast, has been an attempt to infringe on law abiding gun owners, NEVER criminals, like somehow, gun crimes are connected to law biding citizens, of which, they are not, or, very, very rarely.

Obama voted in Illinois, against allowing a law abiding homeowner to protect himself or herself and their family with a firearm, and yet, somehow, he's now trying to sound like a friend to gun owners.

He says he's for "sportsman and hunters", sure, if everyones firearms are locked in some kind of county gun bank, where a law abiding citizen would have to go and "check out" their firearm to go hunting.

Obama has a 100% anti-gun record and philosophy against law abiding gun owners, never criminals.

Obama lives by the leftist created "reality", where, "evil is the victim of Good".

Obama says things, when, to the contrary, his words and his actions and who he surrounds himself with, are exactly the opposite.

Obama is a pathological liar, nothing more, nothing less.

I think Obama might not be that far left of Cairy. But why I particularly fear an Obama presidency, is because of how the world of public opinion as he would perceive it, could be a twilight zone next to the real world of public opinion. Because so much criticism of his ideas, not of the man would be rebuked, or not even proffered, because of criticisms of racism, or the fears of such criticism. The lack of visible opposition could only embolden his socialist program.

Seeing as how the seas parted to bring Obama to this point makes me wonder about the complete meltdown of the goofball Republican Senator from Illinois Peter Fitzgerald who Obama replaced. He was a complete idiot from the day he took office, almost as if his whole purpose was to make Illinois regret ever electing a Republican, certainly paving the way for the Dems to win the seat back. He just might have had the worst Senate career ever in the history of the USA. Dude was on the wrong side of a 99-1 vote after 9-11. That kind of stuff. He was a mega millionaire the day he took office, then he poked his fingers in the eyes of Illinois voters making his re-election impossible, then he doesn't even run for re-election and just disappeared from public sight.

Because unless you’re completely bugeyed nuts, you can’t play in the Media Matters sandbox.

Sorry Charles, but I have to disagreee. Choosing to blaim the most loyal sources for taking the 'other side' have been liberal [sic] tactic for quite some time. Thus, the accustaions of MSM being in the pocket of republicans, anti-Muslim, etc. These are old tactics that go back to Leninism, as deliniated pretty cinically in the works of biggest political avaturist of all times - Lenin, that have been adopted and deseminated by KGB for ages.

The pro-Islamists took the same tactics on in large degree due to the huge numbers of them being trained by the Soviets. Few might remember that most Islamist supporting countries today were in the pocket of the Soviets up to the end of the 1980s, i.e fall of the Soviet Union thanks to Reagan and Tatcher .

How many people notice that most of the Middle-Eastern Studies Arab professors at the US universities that are in the news are "Palestinians"? How many people that notice this know why? How many people know/remember that Arafat and Co, i.e. PLO, up to the late 1980s were pretending to be "Communists" or at least "Socilaists"? How many people know that Soviet universtities were crowded with the Palestinian/Syrian/Egyptian/Algerian/Lybian/Mugabe -and-Idiameen-style-African students in the 1970s and 80s, all of them studying marxism-leninism regardeless of what degree actually got at the end?

These are the same people that complain that our educational system is too far to the right.

Didn't Hillary admit in front of KoS kiddies that she helped create "bring mind crime laws to the US/spy leftists" "media matters"?

From the article:

"The screen provided readers with pre-approved text (i.e., "I hope that in the future we can expect reporting that focuses on the candidate's positions rather than trying to call into question how much they love the country they tirelessly serve.")

Because thinking for yourself is just too damn hard.

re: #17 Nightlight

Don't worry. When Obama is annointed POTUS you will have your state Soros run media.

Fixed it for ya.

The far-left calls the AP biased. The far right-calls the AP biased. There is a saying about news sources when both sides of a story are calling it biased.

And here I've been petitioning for a color-coded Seethe Alert for the MUSLIMS--perhaps the more appropriate case would be for it to apply to the Left.
