Oops. The administrators at Huffington Post are slipping; they forgot to disable comments for an article about Joe Lieberman, and now the peaceful, tolerant lefties are showing their true colors again: Obama In Heated Conversation With Lieberman - Politics on The Huffington Post.

A lot of Israel’s problems would go away if it would try to assimilate withe the rest of the planet. They have at least 150 nuclear weapons. I think Israel should fight their own wars. Some one explain to me why the Jewish population at 2% has so much infuence on US policy. Everyone is sucking up to AIPAC so hard, it’s impossible not to notice. The question is why? When that question is addressed, we will be at the heart of the problem.

Not being a religious person, still, I PRAY for the day the Dems get enough of a majority to cut this fool loose from ANY responsibilities & ship his ass off to Israel where he belongs. Talk about One Trick Pony.

He’s an embarassment to this country.

Is Lieberman an Israeli agent?

Will the senator from Israel please move to israel and get out of American politics?

Every American should be forced to read the book “They Dared to Speak Out” by Paul Findley, an ex Congressman, to grasp the head lock that AIPAC has on American Foreign Policy, the Congress and the Executive Branch, reaching back to Harry Truman. They have operatives located in the key jobs in both the State Department and the Defense Department and the Foreign Affairs Committees of both the House and Senate.Nobody but absolutely nobody in the US Government would dare to say boo to the Israeli Government regardless of the extent of their atrocities against the Palestinian people. It is said in the book that the Israeli Ambassador in Washington is made aware of the Defense Departments directives before the President is informed. The latest AIPAC circus in Washington with all the prospective candidates falling over themselves while taking an oath of absolute fealty to Israel was sickening at best.

All this is from one quick look at the first page of comments.

 Frank says:

The family was from Arkansas. The Dad (Dink) was a furniture salesman in San Bernardino, but back in the way-back-when he used to play 'bones' or 'spoons' in a minstrel show. To relive the golden days of yesteryear he would, from time to time, force his children to accompany him (Ronnie on guitar, Kenny on trombone) in a living room replay of a minstrel routine called "Lazy Bones."

The kids often found this to be an inconvenience, as they were fascinated by, and constantly perfecting new techniques for, The Manly Art Of Fart-Burning. Kenny explained to me that it was scientific - that it demonstrated (this is a real quote) "Compression, ignition, combustion and exhaust." -- Kenny & Ronnie Williams (later immortalized in "Let's Make The Water Turn Black").
