At the Official Obama Site: 'How the Jewish Lobby Works'

Sun, Jun 8, 2008 at 9:08:47 am PDT

Here’s yet another disgusting antisemitic page at the official Barack Obama campaign web site, by a group calling itself “Socialists for Obama.” This group of Jew-haters has apparently been at his site since April, and there are numerous comments from Obama supporters that are indistinguishable from the hate speech you’ll find at neo-Nazi sites: Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | Socialists for Obama: How the jewish lobby works.

There’s something deeply wrong with a presidential candidate who attracts so many of these hateful psychotics. Read the comments; you just won’t believe what is allowed to be posted at Barack Obama’s web site.

(Hat tip: Doug Ross.)

UPDATE at 6/8/08 9:17:47 am:

Follow the link at the top of the page to “Tennessee for Obama ‘08” and you’ll find another lovely graphic:

Disgusting- and I bet now that it's been exposed, it's only a matter of time til it goes down the memory hole.

2 Dahveed  Sun, Jun 8, 2008 9:10:28am

I'm quite certain the media will be first in line to ignore yet more proof about where Obama and his supporters truly stand on the issues.

Oh My God!

I hope we send this to AIPAC and other Jewish groups.

How is this man leading in the poll's?

6 seekeroftruth  Sun, Jun 8, 2008 9:12:35am

I hope McCain's people are keeping track of how much ugly stuff is on Obama's official campaign website. Unbelievable.

7 pingjockey  Sun, Jun 8, 2008 9:12:51am

I knew this would happen. The man will sell Israel down the river. His people will say that they don't agree with this stuff......Then why is it on your official website?! Goddamn lying commie/terrorist enabler.

Have Obama and Ron Paul met yet? They apparently attract followers from the same sort of circles.

Um, didja read down to the suggested solution:

HOW CAN WE STOP THE JEWISH LOBBY?

Here are 3 options:
1) Commit suicide.

2) Write to your Senator warning him that taking bribes from Jews is a sin.

3) Never vote again.

OR:
+ Pray To The Lord Jesus Christ To Either Convert The Jews Or Conquer Them Through The Power Of His Cross!

27 snowcrash  Sun, Jun 8, 2008 9:19:45am

I would like to say it is all craziness, just look at Brother Nathaniels picture but Obamas association with Rev. Wright and NOI encourages like minded followers. These are some of Obamas chickens coming home to roost, anti-Semites and socialists. I will never trust Obama's foreign policy decisions especially in regards to Israel and I am not a Jew.

American Jewish Congress (AJC): Its antecedents began in 1918 when Woodrow Wilson’s “influential friends,” Rabbi Stephen Wise, (founder of AJC in 1930), and Judge Louis Brandeis, (co-founder), participated Here in the drafting of the infamous Versailles Treaty of 1919 which made unreasonable demands on Germany.

~ In the 1930’s, the AJC led a major boycott of German goods in America, which, among other provocations of the Jews, prompted a backlash against the Jews in Germany.

In other words, the Holocaust was the fault of not only the Jews, but of the American Jews. These people are insane.

50 Luigi  Sun, Jun 8, 2008 9:25:47am

Once more the goalposts have been moved.

How soon before Obama's people even stop responding to this sort of thing? They know they can get away with anything with the media. The most rugged insult is met with the slightest feint of an explanation. And they know it's all they need.

Obama went to AIPAC last week and promised an undivided Jerusalem, and then his campaign reneged almost before he was out the door. They said he misspoke or some such nonsense, but there is a different read. Maybe he takes pleasure in insulting Jews to their face. Maybe he cares so little for Jews that he actually likes lying to them. I wonder if the tape revealed any questionable finger movements.

Soon the Obama campaign will try doing nothing for a while after this sort of insult, and see what happens. Maybe this is that time. Maybe they want to see how long they can leave this thing there without getting into serious trouble. Why? Because they like it!

Another thing. Obama's love for Israel must haver made him a total pariah in that church he went to for 20 years. He must have been the only person in that church who felt as he did towards Israel.

This stuff is unacceptable for a campaign website. This is not just some blog by a nutcase supporter; this is the official site. Is there an adult handling web duties for Obama? This is sick and disgusting, and it's been up since April. That means that no one is monitoring, or - much worse - the website monitor finds nothing unacceptable in this.

This speaks volumes about what we can expect from an Obama administration.

1. It's been up since April
2. The moderator at Obama's site was quick to take down another group posting there about a month ago (can't remember which it was, but Charles screen captured it) when an LGF thread exposed it.

Are you ready for this? This posting on an anarchist blog will give you dryheaves and a dizzy head:

I have a crush on you, Barack, but I'm going to riot during the Dem Convention anyway.

Dearest Barack,

Embarrassing though it is, we have to admit that we have a crush on you.
Alas, our love for you is bitter-sweet! While your speeches and charisma
are enough to make anyone swoon, your winning smile just isn’t enough to
cover up the wrongs of the oppressive and tyrannical “democracy” that you
seek to rule.
Though it’s sad to say it, you are just another pretty face
that the two party system uses to sell their lies.

Empire is empire, no matter who the emperor is. Any system that lets one
person swindle, manipulate, murder, commodify, and subjugate the beings of
our earth, is not going to change because we give that power to another
single person. Even if that person is a major hottie.

We left some love notes (banners) for you around town while you were
visiting.
...
We love you Barack, we really do! ...but it’s just not enough. It’s not
that you’re Democrat, infact, we would feel the same if you were
Republican. Visiting St. Paul was a nice gesture, but we just wouldn’t
respect ourselves if we said “Yes”. We would say you might have a better
shot when you visit Denver, but from what I hear the folks there feel the
same way we do.

With forbidden passion,
The Anarchist Action Group:
“Obama is hot, Empire is not”

Boy, they are really feeling conflicted!

The real problem with this kind of stuff is that we are the only ones who find it offensive. Anti-Semitism has become mainstream political belief among many Democrats, but they couch in terms that allow them to be comfortable with their bigotry, framing it in their mind as just another facet of "lobbying" or "partisanship"...

You know, that just doesn't work. Disclaimers do NOT work. Certainly not if you're allowing posts to remain up which are espousing racist, antisemitic views, while your candidate is claiming to be a racial "uniter." And with all the campaign monies this clown claims to have -- like, they are just so poverty-stricken they can't afford a website monitor? Yeah, sure. Tell me another one. Just as with Jerimiah Wright and Obama's connections with him. (Not to mention the ties with the Nation of Islam). Denials here don't cut it --- it raises suspicions about Obama and just who he supports (or gives a "wink, wink, nudge, nudge" to).

I think in at least some of these polls, the individuals asked for a response are a majority Dem - in other words, the pollsters are not necessarily polling Dems and Reps in real-life percentages, but are polling more Dems. This is a way to skew the polls and get people to "give up" and not vote because, hey, Obama is leading anyway.

Yep, that appears to be a major strategy - but it is very weak.

So, yea, 8 years of GWB is going to play a role in this election because BHO is going to use that as reason to vote for him.

As long as they keep naming GWB, they sound weak and carping. Remember, McCain also is going to be naming GWB and criticizing him - and that's weak, too.

IF McCain (plus veep) looks better than Obama (plus veep), McCain wins, it's really that simple. What *can* come out of the past and bite McCain, is the economy, but that's the *present* economy. If Bush as incumbent gets blamed for $150 oil and $5 gas, then some of that will rub off on McCain via the Republican Party and support for the war, almost no matter what he says, almost no matter how little sense it makes. Then again, a fair number of people will not vote for an Obama associated ("in the past") with a Reverend Wright. These are political judgements, not always logical, but there we are.

Gonna be one tough campaign.

Barack Obama's position on the future of Jerusalem is crystal clear. Of course, there are some people who want it to seem muddied and muddled, among them those embattled leftists (many Jewish) who want him to appear as anti-Israel as they are. It won't work; he is, as I've said many times, a good Zionist, like Martin Luther King and Ronald Reagan, Al Gore and George W. Bush. Forgive the mixing of types. Marty Peretz says Obama is a good Zionist. Who are you going to believe? Him or your lying eyes.

But that has been the range of American support for Israel for decades.

I used to have a lot of respect for Martin Peretz, but I lost that respect entirely when he did nothing about the Franklin Foer/Scott Beauchamp disgrace. They brushed the whole story under the rug, lied about it, and just ignored the criticism. No one was held to account.

It's simple actually. Ya see, the left are "nuanced" and they're smarter than we are - at least that's what they tell themselves during their mutual admiration meetings.

And it was then that Nyarlathotep came out of Egypt. Who he was, none could tell, but he was of the old native blood and looked like a Pharaoh. The fellahin knelt when they saw him, yet could not say why. He said he had risen up out of the blackness of twenty-seven centuries, and that he had heard messages from places not on this planet. Into the lands of civilisation came Nyarlathotep, swarthy, slender, and sinister, always buying strange instruments of glass and metal and combining them into instruments yet stranger. He spoke much of the sciences - of electricity and psychology - and gave exhibitions of power which sent his spectators away speechless, yet which swelled his fame to exceeding magnitude. Men advised one another to see Nyarlathotep, and shuddered. And where Nyarlathotep went, rest vanished; for the small hours were rent with the screams of a nightmare.

I do recognize the right of Israel to exist and I even understand, considering the specific circumstances, some of Israel's very criticized positions.
But I don't understand this absolute unwillingness to negotiate on Jerusalem, considering for instance what happens in East Jerusalem. If Israel gave away some of it's rigidity here, it's existence wouldn't be threatened, the Jewish people still had a homeland, etc.
So is this position acceptable?"

I think the primary mission of Obama is to lose the war. That is what he was selected for. That's why Ted Kennedy and people of his mind were Obama's pushers and groomers. Ted Kennedy has been saying for years that Iraq is Vietnam. Scroll down one full page to the yearly deaths in the Vietnam War and you will see that we withdrew our troops and abandoned the Vietnamese governmentafter our rate of loss was down to under 200 per year.

[Link: en.wikipedia.org...]

We had it won, and then we gave it away. That's exactly what the Democrats want to do in Iraq. And Obama is their instrument to accomplish that.

It is very common, especially among professional writers and other members of the "chattering class", to confuse articulateness with intelligence, and (among intellectual wannabes) to mistake incoherent pompous verbosity for profound articulateness.

I know engineers and scientists with high IQs that are about as articulate as George W. Bush. If you break out these guys' IQs (or SAT scores, which are strongly correlated) by verbal, mathematical, and visuospatial portions, you find (not surprisingly) middling scores on the verbal portion compensated by stratospheric scores on the other two portions.

Conversely, I know quite a few humanities scholars who are exquisitely intelligent on the verbal side but that cannot balance their own checkbooks or could easily be taken in by an unscrupulous mortgage broker.

From the link in the last thread, John McCain from 1973 speaking about his time as a POW:

All through this period, the "gooks" were bombarding us with antiwar quotes from people in high places back in Washington. This was the most effective propaganda they had to use against us—speeches and statements by men who were generally respected in the United States.

They used Senator Fulbright a great deal, and Senator Brooke. Ted Kennedy was quoted again and again, as was Averell Harriman. Clark Clifford was another favorite, right after he had been Secretary of Defense under President Johnson.

re: #259 Charles

It is NO EXCUSE to say that anyone can post a blog there. Obama is running for president of the US, he's not some random blogger nobody cares about. To leave his site open to this kind of abuse is irresponsible to the point of sheer insanity.

Well, another confirmation that he is not ready for prime time. Who else would need a committee to help choose a VP candidate.

re: #217 bellamags

His IQ also higher than Kerry. I guess that's not hard to do. :)

Actually, the IQ scores were not obtained directly but inferred from other standardized tests. Here is a link to the blog of the guy who actually did the analysis (a paleocon who is no friend of Bush and posts regularly on vdare.com, enough said):

[Link: isteve.blogspot.com...]

I'd say, considering the uncertainties, that a 5-point IQ difference is within the measurement error, and that all you can say is that both candidates had comparable IQs in the 90th percentile range. My guess is that, if you broke them down by verbal vs. nonverbal (math+visuospatial), that Kerry would have a markedly higher verbal IQ than Bush but a markedly lower NONverbal one.

#267 hmmm sounds alot like Obama:

"The story proceeds to describe the appearance of Nyarlathotep as a "man" dressed as a Pharaoh, who claims to have been dormant for the past twenty-seven centuries, and his subsequent travels from city to city demonstrating his supernatural powers. Wherever Nyarlathotep went, the story relates, the inhabitants' sleep would be plagued by vivid nightmares.
The story describes Nyarlathotep's arrival in the narrator's city, and the narrator's attendance at one of Nyarlathotep's demonstrations, in which he defiantly dismisses Nyarlathotep's displays of power as mere tricks. The party of observers is driven away by an infuriated Nyarlathotep, (who proclaims that the narrator is "distracting" from his promise of hope and change) and wanders off into three groups: One disappears around a corner, from which is then heard a moaning sound; another disappears with the sound of mad laughter; and the third group, which contains the narrator, travels outward from the city toward the country."
hmmmm how prophetic

Just an idea: to prevent juicy stuff like this from falling down the memory hole, why not link to archived versions of the site, instead of the actual site. Coral creates mirrors of sites for free, even if the original is "disappeared". Here's a Coralized version of the page linked in this thread. It'll be around even if the original is taken down.

Good idea - I'll replace the link when they pull this piece of garbage offline - which I expect to happen any moment now.

My question is, while he is off saving the World, Who is going to save us? He is running for President of the United States of America! Not The World Supreme Leader! I have been critical of Israel because the vast majority of her secular citizens refuse to take to the streets when the government allows missiles and rockets to rain down on her populace.

I am staring at a bleak picture here in the United States. The majority of the Jews in this country support this vapid, Jew hating politician, Obama. We are talking about left-wing Jews in this country who are just as clueless as the German 1st Jews just prior to Hitler's takeover.

Don't say it can't happen here. History begs to differ. Buchannan, Obama and David Duke have a lot in common.

This kind of crap bothers me. Is President Bush so bad that the American people are really ready consider a Jew hating, American bashing, commie leaning, first term senator? People are so ready to reject GWB that they would rather elect a guy who's platform is more or less to tear down the USA and replace it with a socialist workers paradise?

President Bush is not that bad. Unfortunately, it looks like about one third of the nation is about that narcissistic and nihilistic.

It's becoming a real N2L3 world out there and frankly, its beginning to frighten me.

I just want to say up front I have only known two jewish people in my entire life. I have never been around anti-jewish people or viewpoints. And (to me) being anti-jew does not make any more sense than being anti-catholic, etc. With that out of the way, can someone explain what about the images stating that the jewish lobby is powerful is so offensive? If it said the NEA was very powerful would that be anti-teacher? Indeed if you replaced "Jewish" with "NEA" I think it would be a valid statement.

I clearly remember when President Bush (the first) threatened to withhold taxpayer money given to Israel, he referred to the influx of lobbyists as an invading army. News reports said there were approximately 8000 lobbyist brought to DC to get Bush to change his mind (and he did). To me, that is a very powerful lobbying group.

re: #70 Dianna

Nonsense.

If they had decent oversight, they'd have removed this. It's like reading Nazi propaganda, or material from the Black Hundreds, and no political campaign wants that association.

That's exactly what scares me to death about Obama. The fact that he doesn't seem to recognize that the words and deeds of Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright and Fr. Pfleger are totally incompatible with the mainstream of American thought. It never occurred to him, apparently, during the 20 years he sat in Wright's church that this could be a hindrance to his political ambitions.

Nor does it seem to have been a hindrance for his campaign -- Obamatons think anti-semitism, racism and anti-Americanism are just fine!

There's nothing wrong with saying the Jewish lobby is powerful. It is powerful. (Though not as powerful as the teachers' lobby, since you mention it).

There is something wrong with saying the Jewish lobby is so powerful it makes puppets of our political leaders and the media and secretly controls everything, including our government's national security decisions. Which is what the anti-semite wing of the Democrat party thinks.

I used to live in San Francisco. I've heard more of this nonsense than you can shake a stick at.

The 8000 citizens that came to Washington on behalf of AIPAC to speak with their congressmen were ordinary citizens who have the right to petition their government leaders. They did not have any secret power, and it is ridiculous to assume that they had some magical power to do anything. They merely took the time from their busy work schedules to speak to their congressmen.

That antisemitism comes from (1) demonization of the Jews, but saying that their influence is nefarious, and that it is somehow different from the rights of any citizens to speak with their governmental leaders, and (2) the implicit attempt to exclude Jews from our democratic process, by claiming that there is something illegal or harmful about their participation.

The difference is the 2000 year Christian (and Islamic) tradition of scapegoating jews for all the ills of society. What we see with the Obama posts is actually a case study of classical anti-semitism; people confronting disturbing societal change and historical challenges with an almost congenitally ingrained response e.g. blame the jews...actually quite self-defeating in the long run (as the Byzantines discovered during the Islamic invasions).

re: #40 KobiTheDefender

Let's be honest, this is a post by a community member who does not speak for the campaign. Is it fair to judge a candidate by the statements of every supporter he attracts? I think not. Don't miss the disclaimer at the bottom of the page this post links to:

"Content on blogs in My.BarackObama represents the opinions of community members and in no way should be interpreted as endorsed or approved by the campaign."

I would have agreed w/you had they not gotten rid of other offensive things. By getting rid of some things & allowing the others to stay, they then validate, if not endorse, what they leave. I would have had a lot more respect for him/them if they had said "Yeah, some people are @$$hole$, whadaya gonna do - at leas this way, we know who they are (etc.)" & left it at that. But they didn't & that says a LOT.

Because it's NOT a "Jewish" lobby, it's the ISRAELI lobby - and the Israeli lobby is not actually a "Jewish lobby".. There are many evangelical Xians (for starters) who are huge supporters of AIPAC. These people are deliberately lying about the power of Jews to stir up hatred against Jews.

The real kicker? AIPAC has NOTHING on the OIL lobby - & we all know who they are....
