It's not that the site is unmoderated, it's those damn LGFers moderating the site and intentionally allowing these moby posts to remain up!

One of the irony I find is the moonbats calling President Bush as dictator...

But makes no comment on Venezuela's Chavez...

How come?

I just hope we will not find it fulfilled in Obama.

With the monitors of the Obama site it could simply be another case of usual socialist practice of taking the paycheck and not doing the work.

Negation.

Every Obama "solution" is an exercise in Marcuse's "Negation".

If you aren't familiar with Marcuse and the social theory that drove many radical movements in the 60's, look at this page describing Marcuse's impact on the Weather Underground.

Ben Smith's Blog

This is the latest GOP attack on Obama: got to his website, and create a blog with offensive material, then turn around and feign shock and horror at the blog, and blame Obama for it. Around the same time in April that these "blogs" popped up on Obama's website, Sean Hannity also created a blog and profile, remember? Only problem is that it wasn't Hannity, it was some unknown moron. Ben, perhaps you should ease up on the accusatory tone of your post.

33 nigella  Sun, Jun 8, 2008 9:12:53pm

Obama's people don't feel they need to be "moderated". They feel he is the "chosen one", the "Messiah,"" the all knowing." They don't need to bother with trifles like truth, substance, and experience..... Pay no attention to the "messiah" behind the curtain........ These are not the droids you are looking for.......etc, ect, ect............

Ben Smith's Blog

Even if this premise were true (and I don't for a SECOND believe that all of the above listed Obama blog-posts are partisan Republican plants, let alone most, or even ANY of them), where does that leave Obama's moderators?

How long does crap have to be on his website before somebody notices and takes it down?

Assuming even that someone needs to complain first, why is it, then, that nobody has complained about these posts being up there for months?

Either nobody who is reading Obama's website has any problem with them, or alternatively, nobody is reading his website!

By the way, there are some other extremely amateurish things at Barack Obama's super high-tech web site.

For example, use the search function and put quotes in the search string, then watch what happens when you page forward a few times:

[Link: my.barackobama.com...]

Every time you go forward a page, more backslashes are added to the search string.

This is embarrassingly lame. I have a feeling that some hacker could break into that site with very little effort. And no, I'm not advocating that.

But that's okay, I just posted all the links from the previous LGF thread on the next thread there.

Obama becomes President.

His diplomats are careening around the globe, telling different stories to different foreign ministers, Promising the Israelis that Jerusalem is undivided, then telling Fatah it will be divided; announcing on TV that we'll invade Pakistan, then telling the Pakistanis not to worry, it's not true, etc. etc.

When questioned about this, Obama will say,

"Hey, don't blame me! My foreign policy is unmoderated!"

Ever read ATLAS SHRUGGED? Rand had these idiots tagged 61 years ago.

No one is going to step up and take responsibility for this mess because to take responsibility one must also accept disciplinary actions when something goes wrong.

One of the ongoing mental practices of the Left is the conceptual refusal to separate good and bad. In order to do so they would have to adopt a moral standard. (Out goes multiculturalism) If they were to adopt a valid standard the first thing they would notice is that they are the bad guys.

(This may explain the constant exodus of ex-Leftists to the Right.)

9/11 Truth

I don't think Mr. Obama has stated a position on 9/11 truth, which is a genuine grassroots movement that has grown enormously in the last several years. It is now clear, from a number of polls, that the clear majority of the American people (not to mention the world) do not believe that the current govt has told the truth about 9/11, and as much as half the population believes the govt had prior knowledge of the attacks and perhaps were even complicit. The best presentation of the facts is in the works of David Ray Griffin. This is not a conspiracy theory, as the mass media would have us believe. This is the debunking of the most outrageous conspiracy theory of all, which is the one called the "9/11 Commission Report." Since 9/11 remains the BASIS for the war(s) on terror (Afghanistan, Iraq, possibly Iran) and also the war on the US Constitution and our rights as American citizens, it is ESSENTIAL that the whole truth about these events come to light. This is a simple demand: 9/11 truth--ALL of it!

I actually thought of a fantasitc non-sarcastic pro-Obama slogan, but I've never told anyone, lest it get actually used:

In Latin, the verb "To love" is amo.

Like in many languages, you conjugate it for different voices and tenses: amo, amas, amat, etc.

The first-person future tense, "I will love," is amabo.

Hold a mirror up to Obama's name, and what do you see?

...! ! ! ! !...

Pretty amazing, eh?

I won't even write it out, I am so afraid of the slogan's power. Not just a palindrome, but a perfect mirror-image palindrome, which is extremely rare.

So let me see if I got this straight...Obama is not responsible for the blog postings because his campaign can't moderate all the postings. That bodes well for universal healthcare. I guess nobody will actually be responsible for say, distributing the money for a complex program. If you can't run a blog, how the hell will healthcare work?

During the dot-com era, some companies made as promotional items flip-flop sandals that had a mirror image of the company's logo deeply incised on the sole, so that when you walked along the beach or in the dirt, you'd leave an endless series of advertisements in your footprints.

What next? A map of the 57 states?

58, when he said that, he hadn't ever been to South Dakota Yet.

Remember he said "I've been to all 57 states, then added I think we still have one left to go."

Then he showed up here and insulted South Dakotans by saying hello to Sioux City, not Sioux Falls.

When using subdomains like my.barackobama.com you can often use the directory method i.e. barackobama.com/my/ goes directly to a directory of a bunch of headers and footers for various web site pages. Not a very robust site at all. The messiah has amateurs for webmasters.

So you're saying Obama's site is all flash and no substance?

Then he showed up here and insulted South Dakotans by saying hello to Sioux City, not Sioux Falls.

He has screwed up so often that the Demonrats, who plague President Bush re 'Bushisms' should run and hide, as Hussein already has made really so many stupid, ignorant remarks that make the braggart Hahvahd graduate look like an idiot.

When the President misspeaks, he at least has said something meaningful that just didn't sound as he meant it to, but there is always substance, and he laughs at himself along with everyone.

Perhaps someone should keep track of every single moronic statement Hussein makes...whoops, it would take a battalion, not just one person...and publish a weekly collection..but they can stop in November, when McCain wins.

Any suggestions for a title?

To be fair, these blogs are not representative of Obama's espoused positions (lately) and it's not entirely fair to claim they are just because they're written by people who support him. After all, even here at LGF we've occasionally attracted undesired support (Fjordman).

Charles has been prompt in unconditionally rejecting them and their positions. Will Obama do the same? I guess only time will tell, but odds are that he won't even acknowledge them unless it shows up in the mainstream media (in which case it'll be "these aren't the bloggers I knew").

Or, Barack – a man who sees visions (like parting the oceans, convincing Acccchmadinejad to drop Iran’s nuke plans, makes the "world loves US again" etc, etc –all... while finishing his waffle.

265 LeonidasOfSparta  Mon, Jun 9, 2008 5:50:44am

re: #237 Genosaurer

If BHussein is unable to "control" his own website content (through someone he trusts, thus agrees with), or is unable to manage his NUTroots supporters who USE HIS WEBSITE as a mouthpiece to espouse their own agendas-- he should consider not using the web as a way of communicating with his constituency.

Charles is VERY very good at maintaining this site. It's his "livingroom" and he doesn't allow morons to come in and crap on his furniture and rugs (nice rugs, Charles, by the by) or bully his guests.

But it becomes increasingly clear that BHussein a) gives his site over to anyone who will monetarily/ideologically support him; b) uses this website to allow his Nutroots fringe to express themselves freely, in which case he has, essentially, allowed lunatics to run "his home" aka his website which should be about espousing his views; c) he knows it is happening, he sees it, he agrees with it-- they are all saying things he "can't" but wishes he could.

Anyway you slice it, he's a moron for allowing things he doesn't agree with to occur at HIS website, or he's a moron with evil intentions and he gives over his website to loons to attract their votes.

I choose the latter catagory. He only squeals like a little piggy and acts shocked and dismayed when someone brings all this insanity to the attention of the voting public.

But either way, Genosaurer, don't be lulled into the dream that "these blogs are not representative of Obama's espoused positions (lately) and it's not entirely fair to claim they are just because they're written by people who support him."

They most assuredly ARE his views. All of them. That's why, when he makes speeches he never SAYS anything substantive-- never answers policy questions, never states his stance on any issue. He appears to be a naive, empty suit-- but he's not empty. That's the ruse. That suit is quite full-up. Full-up of Marxist socialist, totalitarian garbage that hails BACK in time to 1919 Bolshevik Revoltionary days....and he thinks no one will notice when he talks about "change, hope, new ideals, new, new new."

As McCain said, (paraphrased) he was surprised that someone so young (as BHussein) could be fooled by the OLD failed ideas he's espousing (socialism, national healthcare, blame America first, etc.) in short the failed ideas of Dhimmi Carter and Walter Mondale.
