Politico: Candidates Can't Control Their Web Sites

Mon, Jun 9, 2008 at 4:28:50 pm PDT

Ben Smith quotes one of the left’s most rabid haters and his ludicrous counterattack: Ben Smith’s Blog: Speaking of candidate sites... - Politico.com.

Aravosis finds, on McCain’s site, some anti-Semitism as well, along with a long discussion of whether Obama is the anti-Christ, put to rest by the reminder that he can’t be, because the anti-Christ will be a Jew.

Also, some slurs that don’t bear reprinting.

Which, as on the Obama site, probably have more to do with overwhelmed moderators than much else. (The grossest slur is in a post that also attacks McCain.)

The raised level of press and public sophistication on this is striking: I think at this point, most people are willing to accept that both candidates can’t control everything that happens on their sites, a source of major confusion in 2004, when MoveOn was accused of using Nazi comparisons because a user of the site did.

This is absolute nonsense. Two points:

1) The candidates definitely can control what happens on their blogs. This is an extremely lame excuse. All it takes is a few motivated moderators; and it’s not like Barack Obama doesn’t have the money to pay for it. If they can’t even control a web site, how are we supposed to believe they’ll be able to handle the most powerful job in the world? And yes, the McCain camp should do a better job of it too... however...

2) It’s completely, 100% wrong to equate comments from anonymous people at the John McCain blog to registered, approved blog posts at the Obama site. This is the difference between commenters and bloggers, and again we see the attempted blurring of the line — in this case to excuse the hateful content at the Barack Obama site. Normally, leftists try to blur this line to smear center-right blog owners; they’ve been using this tactic against me for years. It shows that they’re willing and able to switch their line of attack around 180 degrees, depending on who they’re smearing or who they’re trying to defend.

UPDATE at 6/9/08 4:46:44 pm:

Yesterday, this same creep Aravosis attacked John McCain for his disability pension: Why is McCain getting $58,000 a year in disability income?

This ugly, low attack was posted by a blogger, not a commenter. See the difference?

UPDATE at 6/9/08 6:04:10 pm:

I retract the statement that blogs are approved at the Obama site; they’re not. I was told by several readers that they were, but this turns out not to be the case. (I stand by everything else I wrote.)

However, every blog post and every comment at the Obama site includes a ‘report for objectionable content’ button. What does it say about that community that either: 1) no one reported any of the dozens of incredibly offensive posts we’ve been highlighting, or 2) they were reported, but the administrators did nothing?

Actually, I think Obama's site IS moderated, but the moderators didn't see or have any problems with what was being posted.

If the moderators of the Obama blog are as rabid and as wacko as the posters, then they don't have the intellectual and moral tools to discern what is appropriate and what is just trash.

If a candidate can't control his/her site, they have no business setting one up. Ostensibly the sites are to showcase who the candidate is, and by extension, his/her constituency is. I bet if we put up a blog Republicans for Barack and talked about how he really is gonna cut taxes and hand out guns to all law abiding citizens, while going to Iraq to shoot at a few terrorists himself, it would be taken down immediately.

These Obama supporters insult our intelligence by excusing the hateful, anti-Semitic blogs being posted on the site of a man who could be our next President. It's sheer laziness that with all their resources and money, they can't hire some moderately competent techs to monitor that site. If one is faithful with the little things, one should be rewarded more responsibilities. If Obama can't even have his site run in a respectful and presidential manner, how can he run the country?

If the Obama campaign can't control the content at their own campaign website, then what have they been up to since the Lizards blew up da owl?

Looks like they just weren't smart enough to control it before everyone noticed it's infested with haters, fringe radicals, foreign terrorism movements, and terrorism-affiliated groups.

But even that is too generous. As Charles notes, those blogs were approved by his super sophisticated revolutionary campaign web crew.

104 LoFlyer  Mon, Jun 9, 2008 4:47:26pm

What is slowly coming out from the conservative blogs and talk radio is that Obama has surrounded himself with mentors, priests, terrorists, racists, Marxists, Communists and socialists at every opportunity who despise capitalism and the American way. The MSM does its best to suppress the stories unless some Hillary supporting journalist decides to publish like ABC did with Wright and the Trinity church. LGF is at the leading edge of the battle. Charles knows this and has been tightening up on loose cannons like Savage and others to limit our exposure to over the top posts.

That's a good question.

Strip away the ideology and look at their actual behavior. At the core of each of these movements is a Malign Narcissist Leader who see other people as either tools he can use to further his own goals or as trash to be disposed of. When these malign groups cooperate and support each other it is an attempt to use each other as a instrument to bring down their common enemy. The Society of Consent. The vast mass of rational people who refuse to be the tools of the Malignant Narcissists.

He didnt put his life on the line for "us". He put his life on the line for himself or perhaps the government but not for "us". This unalloyed praise for any veteran is to me just total crap. Besides...he was a flyboy and not a grunt. He happily flew off his ship with its white linen sheets and the finest food, bombed some innocent civilians, then returned to his floating hotel. In fact, the above story doent criticize his "service" rather it criticizes him for taking money that he certainly doesnt need and probably doesnt deserve and most pointedly, for being a terrific hypocrite for denying benefits to those who DO need and deserve it. McCain is a total schmuck. He doesnt know how horrible war is...you dont get that from a fighter jet at 500mph while dropping bombs on civvies. He DOES know what torture is and yet he voted for the Military Commissions act and is pro Bush. The guy is a total phoney.

Yo, warmonger you're going to be a thing of the past.

Peace Class K-12

How about creating a "Peace Class" as a recommend in K-12 academics. We could fit it in by interweaving it with American history, wouldn't those two go good together. The peace class would teach kids the importance of doing homework on time, running, reading, exercising, meditating, socializing, getting them involved in a community garden or school garden, and many more issues. If we can start by making a peace class then we would finally be assured that we'll not get a president who grew up watching cowboys n indians(TV), while eating chips n soda(COKE), and then we would be ready to create a Department of Peace, one that employes those most recommended by their teachers, tutors, counselors, and professors. Then when we do that we will make it so that whoever wants to become the president of N.America or any other such position will need to show prof of recommendation from their teachers, tutors, counselors, and professors. We can make this and many more together, starting in your community.

I'd suggest that Obama ought to have had enough volunteers working for him that he could have kept the comments moderated to scrub the extremists quickly before his entire community blog became overrun with them.

But that requires something that I'm not sure his supporters have: the ability to distinguish between hate speech and critical thinking. It's all a continuous line of relative discontent to them.

Why is McCain getting $58,000 a year in disability income?

Let's see. He was held captive in a North Vietnamese prison for 6 years or so and had the holy shit beat out of him and his arms dislocated among other injuries and he is disabled from this?

Do I get a prize?

Dumb shits.

In their tiny little minds I'm sure they think McCain should be paying the Vietnamese for having to provide him room and board for six years.

*sigh*

I suppose I can take some faint pride in the fact that, as yet, my two senators have merely demonstrated that they are stupid.

As opposed to being actually evil.

But dive into Rockefeller's report, in search of where exactly President Bush lied about what his intelligence agencies were telling him about the threat posed by Saddam Hussein, and you may be surprised by what you find.

On Iraq's nuclear weapons program? The president's statements "were generally substantiated by intelligence community estimates."

On biological weapons, production capability and those infamous mobile laboratories? The president's statements "were substantiated by intelligence information."

On chemical weapons, then? "Substantiated by intelligence information."

On weapons of mass destruction overall (a separate section of the intelligence committee report)? "Generally substantiated by intelligence information." Delivery vehicles such as ballistic missiles? "Generally substantiated by available intelligence." Unmanned aerial vehicles that could be used to deliver WMDs? "Generally substantiated by intelligence information."

As you read through the report, you begin to think maybe you've mistakenly picked up the minority dissent. But, no, this is the Rockefeller indictment. So, you think, the smoking gun must appear in the section on Bush's claims about Saddam Hussein's alleged ties to terrorism.

But statements regarding Iraq's support for terrorist groups other than al-Qaeda "were substantiated by intelligence information."

Democrats like the "Bush lied" meme because it gets Democrats who voted for the war off the hook with their antiwar constituencies. The problem is that it's more politically convenient than, you know, true. It's rather convenient for the intelligence services, too . . . .

No, no, no. The CIA invented crack to enslave the black population (see Rev.Wright for details). Obama confesses to using "blow" (which I assume is cocaine powder) but only because of his racial identity issues.

Obama suggests in his books that he used marijuana and "blow" to ease the pain of his ongoing struggle to define his racial identity, and that association makes it all but unthinkable that even the most ruthless political operative would attempt to make an issue of long-ago substance abuse.

This is very true. As I posted yesterday, I did a webpage for a State Senator who is now running for Governor. After a couple of problems, I decided to go ahead and post it at politicalgateway.com. It was an incredibly easy and good looking site. However the Senator asked that I take down the site. It turned out that the main page, (not the Senators pages) had links to left and right "news" sites that promoted conspiracy theories. (Some Paulian stuff and troofer crap). He didn't want any connection to his campaign, even ones that tenuous. All in all a good move on his part. How much worse is it that the O can't seem to control direct posts on his own blogsite?

This is the problem of an inexperienced national general election candidate, and why McCain in some ways got a break in facing Obama. Hillary's campaign and web site would be buttoned-down and well controlled.

No question Obama did a great job in organizing democratic state orgs to compete with Clinton ( but not that great as Clinton smoked him in significant primaries), but it wasn't a general election.

Obama is getting significantly smacked around 5 months out and his negatives are going to grow. Everything was already thrown at Clinton over the years and in her case people knew what they would be getting if they elected her, not so Obama.

So to summarize he needs every vote, especially the moonbats that are posting the off-the-wall stuff, because the average, and arguably sane, americans are going to be increasingly turned off.

Meanwhile, in other news, Wretchard from Belmont Club has a nice piece on mosque building in Australia. The facts are that the area housed 380 Muslim families, but for construction, in came a virtual torrent of money:

The Quranic Society ... had already purchased the land — deemed so valueless by the Camden Council that it did not even charge rates for it — for more than US $1.4 million. They paid US $240,000 in applications.

That would mean every family would've ponied up $4,315. But there was no need: the Quranic Society came in from outside.

The KSA is raking in money hand over fist these days. Their buying power is immense. We'll see these situations replicated all over the Anglosphere. Coming soon to a jihad theater near you.

There is the physical bulling and there is the mental bulling same as any other physical or mental abuse. The physical abuse is sometimes a lot easier to get over than the mental and when both is in play for a long time, sometimes it can become way to much for a child especially when continually done in front of their peers and done at certain ages. And yes some children have a better self esteem than others and can handle better than others. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree on this subject. ;)

I agree that the teachers' union, the NEA, endorses the Democrats, but in smaller districts at least the school board calls the shots.

Every school board I've worked under has been Democrat controlled. Here our Superintendent is a right wing Republican, but the dems control the school board. Every year the school board tries to nail the community with another tax hike. The last couple years the people have decided they shouldn't be allowed to keep the crap up so they started closing schools.

Another Democrat ran for head of the school board, but she had a plan written up that proved they didn't have to raise taxes, or close schools, all they had to do was early retire all the administrative staff and non-teaching teachers that were two or less years from retirement. They would have been able to hire new teachers at a higher pay scale and save millions. She was defeated in favor of the status quo.

If victims could just slug bullies without getting suspended, bullying would decrease dramatically. I told my boys years ago that they had better NEVER throw the first punch, but they had my permission to throw the last one--and I'd stand by them if they got in trouble for itl.

I think a vast majority of situations would follow common sense. You can't suspend all parties from school when one starts something. I think it would be a minority of schools that would do so, and primarily because they don't know how to discipline kids.

When I had an issue, I was offered the wrestling room with a coach and another teacher that told us to "settle it". Needless to say, nothing happened and it was never an issue after that.

Does anybody know anything about myspace. There is a list of all his friends, would anyone be able to go through them and check out and see if they recognize any names?

Interestingly, I just followed some threads to research that: this is the story of how the Myspace page came into being. Sheds some truly fascinating light on the man who would be ki -- er, President.

Another interesting affiliation in thie blog of BO: someone sites the article Tibet for Palestine written by the israeli far left "intellectual", Uri Avneri, where he is whining that the world doesn't pay enough attention to Palestinians with the whole Tibetian issue . FYI, Uri Avneri was a human shield for Arafat in 2002 during the Israeli operation in Ramallah and there were many photos from this event him hugging Arafat (should find it). Even when the terrorist attacks occurred he always found the way to justify it. And guess what? He is a big supporter of Obama! ( just little quote:Of one thing I am certain: Obama's declarations at the AIPAC conference are very, very bad for peace. And what is bad for peace is bad for Israel, bad for the world and bad for the Palestinian people.)

The University of Oregon will play host Monday night to Holocaust denier David Irving, prompting protests from a local rights group.

The Pacifica Forum, a group that holds weekly meetings on the university’s campus in Euguene, Ore., has invited Irving to make an address about free speech. Irving's presentation is part of a nationwide tour which includes what he calls the "real history" of Adolf Hitler and Heinrich Himmler. Irving is the third accused Holocaust denier who will have spoken to the group on campus.

Only someone who has a rudimentary understanding of blogs and comments based systems could claim that the blog/website owner would be unable to control/police those comments.

Heck, there's any number of ways to do it.

Heuristics searches for key terms or words to flag posts as objectionable for further scrutiny. Active moderation where blog posts and comments have to get approved.

It's all a matter of what level of input and dedication to keeping on message the Obama campaign wants to achieve. Since they're essentially allowing a free-for-all, where not only can any one post, but anti-Semitic and racist posts can remain for days, weeks, and months on end until someone points them out.

And it's rather rich for someone at say ABC, BBC, WaPo, Politico or elsewhere to complain about LGF, when their own websites are rife with the vile craziness all while Charles and the monitor lizards are busy dealing with those posts that go over the line.

But, there's one other thing that intrigues me. Is there a disclaimer when you sign up and post to the Obama site? I haven't gone and set out to post there - have no interest, but a disclaimer might point to just how (un)involved the Obama campaign wishes to be.

And if the Obama campaign has no interest in policing its own website, then they will reap what they sow - whether it is justified or not, because that's the conditions that they set for themselves by not taking a more active stance (and also apparently par for the course given their other haphazard technical skills).

Just like any other United States military officer - or enlisted - who puts in twenty years and then retires. He gets the money because he EARNED the money. Call it his 401K.

All sides deserve validation.

The problem w/ all this, of course, is that it ends up in an embrace of evil.
Witness the fair-hearing and equivalency re Palestinians and Israel.

I have told kids whom I've caught being unkind, "Do you have to work at being a jerk, or does it come naturally?" Usually after I've nailed them with my superior sarcasm, they're pretty humble and leave the victim alone, NO ONE messes with my students, and they know that.

Children can also be disciplined for wearing a t-shirt with a picture of an evil gun on it. Unless it's Che holding an AK-47, in which case, that's "Show & Tell".

Refuse to stand during the Pledge of Alleigence, get suspended for a day, and the MN ACLU freaks out...

Bring a confederate flag to school, get suspended, miss graduation, and the MN ACLU yawns...

MN ACLU says the issue is "potential disruption to the learning environment" on whether speech is allowed. Fine. So to get the candy assed commies to stand during the Pledge the other kids have to kick the crap out of them? You know, so that there will be disruption?

Stupid. Conservatives/patriots have too much class.

Its your blog, and I accept your total authority for what happens here. It wouldn't hurt to discuss your future tactics before implementation. Independent review and discussion does have its advantages. You are still the Commander in Chief of LGF, and we back you 100 percent!

One can only hope the MSM would attempt to smear LittleGreenFootballs more then they do. One need hope they spell and pronounce it correctly though.

Comrade Obama and his merry men are taking hits for the anti-semantic blog posts and they know it. Looks like they are putting up a smokescreen to try and cover their Jew haters posting there. Comments are one thing, anti-semantic blog posts are an entirely different level of disgrace -- I assume the candidate who supplies the web site and approves the bloggers must condone the posts.

In the enlightened 80's the victim usually got suspended because they "caused" it. IE, being a freak automatically meant they were guilty.

Yes, every blog post and every comment has a button to report objectionable content.

And that means that either: 1) no one reported any of those hateful posts, or 2) people did report them, and the admins didn't do anything.

Or, it could mean that no one other than the person who posted the original content ever saw them. Most of the posts identified in the past few days had none or a very few comments associated with them. Doesn't seem like they were attracting a big readership.

Hey Cindy Sheehan just sent me an email!
(no, I don't know how the hell I got on her list...)

Courageous Congressman, Dennis Kucinich (D-Oh) is on CSPAN right now, 5:30pm PST, introducing 35 articles of impeachment against sham-President, George W. Bush.

As accountability is a major plank in Cindy for Congress' platform, we stand in unity with Dennis and profoundly support this action and congratulate him on standing up for democracy, peace, and the rule of law.

House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca), has been the major obstacle to holding the criminals in the Bush administration accountable and Cindy for Congress demands that she do her constitutionally mandated job (Article II, Section 4: A president and vice president shall be impeached for bribery, treason and other high crimes and midemeanors) and allow these articles to be investigated and prosecuted.

If Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi does not do her job, and also stand up for democracy, peace, and the rule of law, she should step down as a sworn constitutional protector. Dennis takes his oath seriously, as have 4092 brave, but misused American soldiers and we demand that Nancy Pelosi do the same or resign so accountability can proceed.

Understood, just wanted to say that video is no solution to the age old problem of bullies.

I was pushed around some in my younger days, but eventually fought back. Bullies are more scared of retaliation from their victims than victims are from bullies.

The video is needed for evidence of bullying, so when the victim justifiably retaliates, he/she will not again become a victim, this time of school rules of - no fighting. The video tape will exonerate the victim.

I had the day off waiting for the A/C repairmen to come by (They haven't) I recently reinstalled cable TV after a couple of years of low finances and a divorce and watched MSNBC for the first time in two years. It was horrible, the "analysts" (With emphasis on anal) were all claiming that electoral votes were tied between Obama and McCain and working various scenarios that gave Obama victory. This is the same as 2004 and 2000. No wonder Fox continues to expand while the others lose market share. You would think that the liberal geniuses could figure out why they are losing market share and correct operations. No chance, should I delete MSNBC from my channels? Unless anyone can come up with a logical reason, I am deleting the biased bastards!

I'd bug my kid if I had any suspicions of ill deeds, and dare them to yell at me if there was anything incriminating on it. To heck with them. They do not hold ultimate responsibility for how my boys (and baby girl) turn out -- I do. And I'll do whatever I think is necessary to protect them -- up to and including anything. More importantly, they know it. We discuss goings-on in the classroom regularly.

I tease kids with affection and with great exaggeration, and they know they can tease me. "Horseplay" isn't teasing, especially when there's a difference in power.

Year ago, I was trying to figure out how to act out the vocab word "solvent" for my class when one kid said, "Just throw water on her." I laughed until tears ran down my face,

I wasn't talking about just feelings---I'm talking about hitting and kicking also. The boys that were bullying him anyway had a real field day in her class "horseplaying"

Barry H says McCain doesn't know diddly about the economy:

Earmarks typically amount to between $20bn (€12.7bn, £10bn) and $40bn a year, which is just a fraction of the overall federal budget. “His suggestion that the earmark reforms . . . will somehow make up for his enormous tax giveaway indicates that John McCain was right when he said that he doesn’t understand the economy as well as he should,” said Mr Obama. “Either that or he’s hoping you just won’t notice.”

v. the fantasmic plan of the Hope and Change man:

T

he Democratic nominee, whose largest proposed spending items are a $1,000 tax giveaway for households earning below $150,000 and a $60bn to $70bn plan to create universal health insurance, reiterated his commitment to the “pay-go” system, where tax cuts or spending increases are paid for by concomitant spending cuts or tax increases.

I spent pretty much all day hanging out with an old hippie friend of mine. He spouts the standard moonbat line -- blood for oil, Bush-Cheney-Halliburton, WMDs were lies, media is a tool of the government, etc. But he offered up his distaste for Obama, who he described as empty headed and completely unsuited to being president. And he said that for him the tipping point was when Ferraro and Bill were both pilloried for their comments, which he saw as not only unoffensive, but essentially accurate. The upshot was that if he votes, it would either be for McCain or a symbolic vote of protest; he would have supported Hillary because she at least knew something about government, but Obama struck him as a fool.

He also made it clear that he couldn't trust a candidate whose primary appeal was among the callow youth, citing his own prior enthusiasm for Gene McCarthy and George McGovern as evidence. Finally he announced that Pelosi was a total failure and an incompetent boob.

All I can say is I hope there are more like him out there.

Where is the wit, man? Where is the esprit? Where is unassailable intellectual heft of the Left today? Because by God, they used to have these qualities and were able to make cogent arguments without resorting to slurs. Mencken, Edward R. Murray, Edmund Wilson, Dorothy Parker.

re: #415 galloping granny

Senator John McCain receives $58,000 a year in military pension because he served a full twenty years as an officer in the United States military and then retired. Just like any other United States military officer - or enlisted - who puts in twenty years and then retires. He gets the money because he EARNED the money. Call it his 401K.

/Asswipes

don't forget he earned (and as much as I disagree with him on, this man EARNED his) his retirement under conditions that make waterboarding look like a day at Sea World!

So, criticize away. They'll simply deny and sputter. They'll engage in ad hominem attacks rather than address the substance of the criticism. In time, these criticism will build. As you've already stated, he has raised more money than he knows what to do with. Why would he not defuse this by putting some number of people who's full time job it was to check such things on his site? With today's media he should be uber-careful about anything that has his name attached to it in any way. And that is not a slam on today's media. If it weren't for the "evil" bloggers I would still think that National Guard memo was real.

re: #564 vbspurs

Your hippie buddy's final turn-around notwithstanding, can I ask a simple question about the Left today?

Where is the wit, man? Where is the esprit? Where is unassailable intellectual heft of the Left today? Because by God, they used to have these qualities and were able to make cogent arguments without resorting to slurs. Mencken, Edward R. Murray, Edmund Wilson, Dorothy Parker.

WHERE ARE THEY?

Never mind that I don't agree with them, then or now. I miss having debate sparring partners who I could respect for their intelligence. Now, I am astounded by their robotic group-speak, and unclever jargon.

It is amazingly empty, isn't it? I think it's residue of leftism becoming "cool," and thus an expression of social conformism rather than genuine dissent. That and Marxism and post modernism, which provide endless opportunities for self-rationalization where evidence and logic fail.

Why does an official Campaign website need a blog anyway?

Seriously.

It's basically a mechanism to get people to provide their email addresses so that they can be used in fundraising. Also, to the extent that people become involved in blogging there, they may be inclined to participate in the campaign in other ways---by contributing money, phonebanking, participating in GOTV activities. Here's an analysis of how Obama won that focuses, in part, on the use of the web site.

yes you can. In between my shoulder blades. I need to be able to keep it very well hidden to protect my reputation! Its the Army star logo and above it is says "Proud Army".... and then below the U.S. Army part of the logo it says "wife" Its curved and in script, and there are dog tags coming from behind the star. No names in the tags, that is taboo, but clearly they stand for Army Husband.

Curmudgeon Alert! Curmudgeon Alert!

Call me old fashioned, but I think (not that anyone else gives a rip what I think, nor should they) that tattoos on women are a desecration of perfectly good women-flesh. Ain't real fond of them on men, either, since most of them are just stupid and not well done (the son has one that looks like a bruise with its blacks, purples and gold; yecch...). In both cases, I think they are pure vanity and a waste of money. But I will definitely make an exception in this example as this is the kind of tattoo (if one must have one) that is perfectly acceptable, since it is a tribute to you and the love that you have for your husband, the Army and the USA. You could expose it around me and I would praise you for it, not sneer at it. Two thumbs up for ArmyWife!

My .02 cents, FWIW.

(See how I can't even criticise them with one simple phrase, but have to resort to hyphenated jargon? Ack)

That was kind of an odd movie.

PLOT SPOILER WARNING

The hero is doing so well against this scary, professional assassin, and then he just sort of... craps out, with no real explanation.

It may truly be that everyone involved with creating content on his or her own blog is so enamored by each other's support of Sen. Obama that a) they read the blogs but think to themselves "hey that's a little wacky but ok; as long as Obama get's elected, that's good enough for me", b) they don't read each other's blogs much or c) a whole lot of nutjobs are at Obama's base. If it is c, I truly believe it will be Obama's undoing.

re: #283 Charles

I'm performing an experiment. I posted a blog criticizing Obama at his site, to see how long it remains posted. Within minutes, three angry comments appeared.

I've been thinking whether to post my opinion or not. Here goes:

I think it's wrong of you to post a blog in the MyBO blog. It only lends credence to weasely logic that you or LGF are posting blogs there. That's why I wouldn't do something similar, even to chastise them or test out their moderating.

If I'm out of line, please delete this post, but just to let you know, I'm thinking out for you and all Lizards in the war of propaganda.

I heavily edited McCain smear....
McCain: America Established as a Christian Nation
Christofascism!

566 comments on that video, and from my quick look I'm guessing most were character assassinations of John McCain. One particularly brilliant soul said that McCain has zero understanding of American History.

I forget that the officers who are taught at Annapolis don't know squat about our country and our origins.

And of course, there's no American history whatsoever in McCain's background, either.

Drove out to Huntington one time to meet my wifes brother in '95 or so. Her car at the time had a manual 4-banger in it. Had to 3rd gear it up some of those hills (Is it I-83 ?). I was losing my mind. If I have to get up a hill, I want some power to get up the damn thing. That's all.

McCain wouldn't understand American history if it bit him on his pate. Why there is no ancestor of McCain here on the USS Missouri, as the Japanese Surrender is signed.

But I do believe I see Senator Obama's uncle on the bridge, about to liberate Auschwitz.

Thanks for thinking of us here. Heck I was sitting in a lawn chair watching my kid's baseball game watching the clouds move in towards us from the South. Good thing the kid's team won in a mercy rule game that ended in 5 innings. No sooner we got to the car the clouds opened up. No biggie. Just another storm like the one the day before.
