MSNBC Brings the Crazy

Wed, Jun 11, 2008 at 8:03:13 pm PDT

Never mind that there is absolutely no legal basis for even asking the question: Live Vote: Should Bush be impeached? - Politics- msnbc.com.

This is all leading up to war crimes trials for the Bush administration, if Obama is elected.

It's a rigged PMSNBC poll.

I used 1/2 hour this morning before work voting-by-bot on that poll (3rd option down), and the results didn't every budge once even though the vote tally changed. I voted 100 times in 15 minutes, votes tallied, but results didn't show. And nearly 15 hours later, the exact same results are still there.

C. We can't remember which George Bush we wanted to impeach in the first place. (Damn, that was some good sh-t we smoked last night! Yee-ow! Better than we ever got in the Haight!)

Obama said that as president he would indeed ask his new Attorney General and his deputies to "immediately review the information that's already there" and determine if an inquiry is warranted -- but he also tread carefully on the issue, in line with his reputation for seeking to bridge the partisan divide. He worried that such a probe could be spun as "a partisan witch hunt." However, he said that equation changes if there was willful criminality, because "nobody is above the law."

You're missing the point. These people are out for blood, and if they somehow get Obama into the White House they will be screaming for him and the Democrat controlled congress to open war crime hearings.

They won't stop at elected officials and cabinet members....they will track down anyone who supported this "illegal" war and arrest them on trumped up charges. Political trials and re-education camps will become the norm under a Democrat controlled congress and white house.

The election of a President Barack Hussein Obama, with war crimes trials for then-former Pres. Comrade Obama would perhaps just consider it normal revolutionary procedure.

Oh...this is rich...

Democrats Freeze Kucinich’s Impeachment Attempt

Rep. Dennis Kucinich’s attempt to impeach President Bush was sent to committee by members of his own party Wednesday, effectively allowing Democratic leadership to freeze the measure indefinitely. According to Reuters, the 251-166 vote that sent the resolution to legislative limbo largely followed partisan lines, with 225 Democrats voting to punt the measure to committee. All 166 votes in favor of opening up a House impeachment debate came from Republicans, who saw the resolution as opportunity to present Democrats as divisive in a time of serious issues. Kucinich, the author of the resolution, voted with his party against his own measure.

Fine use of taxpayer money Dennis.

Obama Would "Immediately Review" Potential Of Crimes In Bush White House

OK. I stand (sort of) corrected. But if you look at his whole statement, you'll see that it's pretty cautious. I can't imagine that trying Bush administration officials would be an Obama administration priority.

Ah, the context thing. Doesn't it bother you just a little that Obama acts like this is some kind of Banana Republic, where you trump up charges against the previous ruler?

The hyperventilating chronic masturbators of the Left, as personified by the Koslings and the Paint Huffers, are deeply envious of the politics of much of the Third World, where "lose the election, lose your head" has been a time-honored tradition.

One of the obvious problems with Obama lately, is that for a Harvard Grad, he certainly claims to have been hoodwinked by many people close to him.

Could I say, it would not surprise me, knowing every election has political paybacks, he could be cornered into the very least of forcing some congressional inquiry?

I'm thinking dog and pony shows.

The Global Defense Action Fund has already assumed an Obama win, and they want to be among the first to get their feet in the door.

They just served a fright night mini-plug for imminent global disaster if we don't act immediately to curb global warming.

BTW, the high here today was in the sixties. It's almost to the longest day of the year, and this is not indicative of global warming.

When they can predict with 90% accuracy where a hurricane will come ashore three days in advance, then I'll be convinced that there might be as much as a 10% chance that they are right.

In the meantime, let's stall energy action until hell freezes over. Because of the dems and a few really stupid GOP'ers, we're a few years closer already.

Obama won't do anything about Bush's "war crimes" for three reasons:

(1) Bush (figuratively) could kick ass in Iraq over the next few months and make it hard for Barack in November.

(2) Bush could really screw up the Obamagenda by starting a dust up with Iran...(i.e. where would all that flowery rhetoric about health care and stealing money from oil companies go when we are fighting the mullahs? Back burner baby...)

(3) Most important: Barack Obama knows that any President is only a few bad decisions, some bad intel, or bad advice away from the exact same situation. He wants to have some of his own rope...which he won't have if he hangs Bush with it.

There is a reason that I am the Brainwizard...#3 is the most salient.

The only reason the Democrats have ever even brought up impeachment, is when they want attention drawn away from the awful, failed job that the Democrats have done with this do-nothing Congress.

I mean, think of it Cognito, what has this Dem controlled Congress done positive in a year and a half?

Everytime people start looking at the failed Congress, their failed actions and their failed plans, the Democrats pull out "impeachment", when the Congress that wants to impeach Pres. Bush has a much lower approval rating.

This current Dem controlled Congress has the lowest approval rating in this nations history, and their talking impeachment?

If appointed, this would mean finding a suitable nickname for Olbermann in the vein of:

Any suggestions?

I think we could use that nickname now...it might be appropo.

Problem is that he is such a [deleted] that it is hard to find something cute and accurate to use.

Well, if war crime trials are likely, I think it's our duty to remind everyone we know who is in the armed services, or has relatives in the service, of this simple fact. It might make some think twice before pushing the D lever.

Common sense tells one that, BUT I have seen the Obama camp become very cocky, very quickly the moment they slayed the Hillary Dragon.

(You'll notice, however, that the unrelenting pressure the Troofers and Code Pinkos put on the Left, quietened down after the Dems took the House/Senate in '06. So, you know, I hold out hopes)

That's because they hadn't won the big prize yet. Winning the congress was just the first step in consolidating their power. They need a complicit white house in order for them to carry out their dastardly deeds.

I could imagine reasons for it to be unlikely.

How ever, it is a stretch to think who could not be cornered by certain factions to pursue such things.

I posted something up-thread, with him on record, saying it was not acceptable. I think this is important, because it puts him on record as against it, and if he actually gets elected, and something like this does go down, he is then put in the position of defending himself, and not relying on the stock answer of him not being the Obama he knew.

One of the most significant things about his campaign we must remember, is he has had huge amounts of money donated, and this is not because of his positions.

It is to buy influence.

Even though he went on record as against it, it just might be a deal he can't refuse.

They boasted that they would win over 80% of the vote in the last election, and the three biggest dailies in the state all virtually guaranteed she'd lose. She was in one of the handful of districts across the country identified as the most vulnerable to defeat by the then minority party.

She won easily. She represents her people. They like her. She's a conservative Republican who keeps her nose clean.

Billy, How many times did you say Charles voted? There appear to be: 694718 responses (votes). MSNBC doesn't have that many views. Where did they get nearly 700K website visits?

They can't produce it. Every time they fabricate a story they get busted.

2 things always stick out in my mind.

1. The fact that Michael Moore could make such a partisan movie, and it aired in the midst of an election is proof your speech is just fine.

2. Didn't some bimbo, (Carmen Diaz?) make some statement about Bush getting elected a 2nd time, rape would become legal.

Say we gave the liberals...oh, let's pick a state [offense-meter flashing red]...New Jersey. Could we kick New Jersey [or any other State] out of the Union?

My guess is that when new states applied for statehood, they likely had some assurance they couldn't be kicked out. Does anyone know?

Lefty not only wants to restrict land usage for exploring for oil, they want to close down wilderness areas for motorcyclist also.

It would be an unmitigated disaster.

I've always been a fan of the word unmitigated.

Ooohhh...okay. I missed that part. I was reading you wrong, then.

I just have this fantasy of seeing Press Secretary Manners hurl a mike at Helen Thomas while shouting "STFU you ugly troll" that I can't get out of my head.

Just so you know, when I march Olbermann out under the new Administration, I will be stopping for Helen Thomas, too.

Gitmo will have a geriatric ward put in for the occassion.

Of epic proportions.
Most everything the govt runs costs twice as much and runs half as well as it would in the private sector.

She will be MY Press Secretary! Have you guys forgotten already, my announcement that I was running for POTUS under the Continuous Party banner?

America is the last shining becon of freedom and hope and liberty and prosperity.

There is no where else to go to find the freedoms that we currently have.

If these very freedoms are lost, they will never be regained, ever, at least in this life.

We have a decision to make, please choose wisely.

Goodnight all.

JMV has been here for a while.

Resident liberal, and benevolent knee-jerk responder of the obscure post.

She will actually try to make her case.

Folks like Gordon would just try and derail a thread.
