At the Official Obama Site: The Crazy Is Still Everywhere

Thu, Jun 12, 2008 at 9:22:35 am PDT

Still posted all over the my.barackobama.com web site: dozens of 9/11 conspiracy blogs, Communists, and antisemites.

Here are some of the 9/11 Troof blogs that we’ve pointed out several times; the administrators have deleted many of the ones we’ve noted, but for some reason these blogs, promoting an ugly conspiracy theory that denies the reality of 9/11 and suggests that either the US government or Israel are responsible for the attacks, are being allowed to remain.

Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | Michael Morrissey’s Blog: 9/11 Truth

Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | Why is this not being discussed?: Please watch these films on 9/11

Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | Dylan Hudson’s Blog: 9/11 coincidences

Also still posted: a blog that lavishes praise on unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers, calling him a “great American” and a “true patriot,” in the company of Thomas Jefferson.

Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | Martin Perlmutter’s Blog: Bill Ayers, Great American

Outright communists are also still welcome there.

Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | Adam Roberts’s Blog: The Nature of the Proletariat

Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | Marxists/Socialists/Communists for Obama

And posts ranting about the “Jewish Lobby” are also still all over the place.

Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | The People of Palestine Need a Bill of Rights too ...: The Israel Lobby: Bad for The World

Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | zhunjunga’s Blog: Zionism V. Judaism: Important Info from Clearing House (this one links to one of the most hateful radical left conspiracy sites on the web, Information Clearing House)

Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | Government of, by, and for The Israel Lobby: ‘The Israel Lobby: AIPAC’ 1-5

You don’t even need to look very hard to find this stuff. It’s everywhere.

Easily explained, Charles. Liberals all are insane to various degrees.
There's the sweet, (but totally lacking in common sense) libs that mean well, that form the backbone of the Democrat voting base, all the way up to the the foaming at the mouth Pinko-Commie libs. (Which seems to be the majority of the Democrat political leadership.)

Liberalism is insanity, and unfortunately it seems to be contagious.

Since when has a mainstream presidential candidate inspired such hate-driven stupidity amongst his followers? I really, really want to know. Did this happen with Mondale? With Carter? This just seems simply unprecedented to me.

Come on now people, if they take these blogs down at his site, he will lose over half his support. Ain't no way thats gonna happen. They will just let Charles patrol them a bit and then delete the obviously bad ones. Pretty much everything else goes.

I have done an informal poll with my liberal co-workers (about 50 people) and over half of them are convinced that President Bush either directed 9/11 or knew about it in advance and did nothing to stop it. All but 2 of them are voiting for The Obama.

Use Google - you get some tools that the mybo search doesn't give you.

If you want to search for "Ayers" just go to google and type in:

Ayers site:barackobama.com

If you want to limit a date range, try

Ayers site:barackobama.com daterange:2454627-2454629

That daterange operator uses julian dates - the ones I put in are last tuesday to today. Use this site to calculate a julian date.

To exclude a word, put a minus in front

Ayers -foundation site:barackobama.com daterange:2454627-2454629

Many more operators out there for google.

Jim Hoagland at WaPo started opening MSM doubts on the Messiah today.

Read his oped. Hoagland carries a lot of weight for opinion setting.

Doubts are creeping in.

But what is important here is what this incident says about Obama, not about Johnson. The senator's initial reaction was to portray himself as too busy to keep up with the obscure financial doings of people who are not significant to the campaign and to belittle the media for asking him to "vet the vetters."

To treat Johnson, Holder and Kennedy suddenly as mere fact-checkers is as disingenuous as it is ungracious. Obama is clearly the most intelligent candidate of either party since Bill Clinton. But he can outsmart himself if he goes on expecting the media and the public to accept just about any explanation he gives.

Yes, he can.

62 The Other Les  Thu, Jun 12, 2008 9:46:16am

Being a know it all means never having to check facts for do a background check on the people who work for you.

To give a historical example of what happens with a know it all attitude we can to an event prior to the commencement of the Second War War.

The Wehrmacht had printed a French edition of it's primary work on the theory of armored warfare and gave copies of them to the French Army for distribution to their garrison libraries. A year later the German military attache went through the libraries to see who checked out the book. Most copies had never been touched. The few that were checked out had been read by lowly lieutenants.

The leadership of the French Army believed that they knew it all.

They lost the war of 1940.

Of course past performance is no indication of future results.

re: #50 Shr_Nfr

Looking at it, it appears to be a photoshop. Given the date, it would have been typed on the greenbar paper with a typewriter. However, please note that the greenbar does not extend under the name at various places. For instance in the "AMA" on OBAMA and "BAR" in "BARACK". It does however extend under "OAHU" and the time of birth. Both would have had to have been filled in using the same method. The mother's name also has such problems although the father's name is more convincing. Perhaps compression problems given that its a jpeg, perhaps fraud. I remain unconvinced. Given that is the names that have major greenbar problems and the a lot of the rest of the certificate does not, I do not think that it convinces me yet.

I am also unconvinced that this form was filled in by what would have had to have been a typewriter. Perhaps it is vaguely possible that it was an IBM Selectric I that was introduced by IBM on July 23, 1961. However, that model did not have dual pitch and would have required that the "golf ball" be replaced to generate the different pitched fonts. As I say, I remain unconvinced by this document.

73 Shr_Nfr  Thu, Jun 12, 2008 10:09:46am

I note the fact that the birth certificate says "laser" in the corner and has no evidence of a raised seal. I know the original of my birth certificate is on file with the City of New York, and that a request for a copy will get you exactly that, a copy. I do not know what you will get for a request in Hawaii.

The fact that this says laser on it obviously attests to the fact that it is not a copy of the original. Maybe its what you get when you request one, but I would like that confirmed. I also find the lack of a raised seal disturbing.

There is another big problem with this document. Note the father's race - "African." In 1961 his race would have been listed everywhere as "negro". Today in the US it would more likely be listed as "black" but specifically not "African." African is not a race. There are many millions of Africans who are caucasian or asian rather than black.

And it runs turns out that three of the four Boy Scouts killed at the Boy Scout Camp near Little Sioux, IA were Omaha kids. I feel so bad for the parents who spent last night racing from hospital to hospital to find their kids. :-(

PIMF!

Official OMB standards for race: [Link: www.whitehouse.gov...]

These are the latest "official federal standards" not the ones that are in use universally in all states and certainly not what was in use in 1961.

Charles, I think they are letting you be their "appropriate blog watchdog." Let's see how long until they take these down. And when they do, send them a bill.

CAIR calls on Obama to denounce "Islamophobia"

By which they mean, of course, not simply irrational prejudice against Muslims, but any honest examination of the elements of Islam that jihadists use to justify violence against non-Muslims and Islamic supremacism. We have seen this again and again.

"Obama aides grilled in Dearborn: In talk with Chaldeans, Arab-Americans assertion made that candidate has ignored Islamophobia," by Gregg Krupa for The Detroit News, June 12 (thanks to Paul):

[...] The three Obama aides who attended the meeting also were challenged about the perception that he fails to denounce Islamophobia, even when he points out publicly that he has been targeted by prejudiced Internet bloggers, in particular, who continue to assert that he is Muslim.

"We are waiting for him to decry this Islamophobia as anti-American, just as anti-Semitism is anti-American," said Dawud Walid, of the Council on American Islamic Relations. "To simply say that he is a Christian and not to criticize Islamophobia is akin to passively supporting Islamophobia. He has to address publicly the roots of these concerns."...
