Reminds me of Mark Shields, liberal talking head on PBS News Hour and various CNN shows. Ten, twelve years ago he was a thoughtful, intelligent guy. Then he got his own CNN show, and mass quantities of Prozac, I suspect, and since has spewed almost nothing but nonsense. Beckel was one of the more thoughtful guys, back in the day, and even up until fairly recently. This is a new guy, a neo, cyber, iBeckel 2.0, with as much brains as your average viral meme.

After they tried all this and the weapons, training, and land given to the Phakestinians were instead used to attack Israelis and kill Jews around the world, I realized the errors in my naivete.

What concerns me the most is the amount of damage Bush has done to the United States and the Conservative movement in general. As POTUS he is labeled the quintiencial "conservative" and thus gives the entire movement a bad name. Obama is a backlash against Bush formost, but the Dems are labeling everything that Bush did as "the same conservativism since Reagan" (making sure to not let the facts get in the way). Thus because of Bush being called "The Conservative", and the ways that he has actually couched liberal stupidity in Republican clothes (big government, major spending, surrender to Terrorism, etc.) the Republican Party and Conservative Movement is going to suffer for a very long time.

All they have to say to the now young (but won't be for long) voters is: "Do you want another Bush Administration? If not, you vote Democrat".

Hamas, Hizb'allah, Islamic Jihad, whatever alphebet soup collection of murderers and thugs happen to be loudest today, all of them need to be killed. They will never accept peace, and make it plain that they will never accept peace.

They can only be killed. It really isn't that big a task. It isn't like these folks don't march in protests wearing head rags carrying machineguns and korans. You can pick 'em out of a crowd.

We'll be able to talk peace when all these folks are dead, and only then. Until then, I don't think Israel is really serious about talks. They want to give their enemy too much.

And this has always been my position. When we saw the pullout from Gaza, I was hopeful that something like this was getting ready to take place. I was disappointed.

This is no surprise. Over the years I've seen Beckel on various programs and his name is synonymous with slime.

Not sure because this is UCMJ and not standard criminal law. But, this suggests that the charges filed against Chessani were not appropriate and he can't be charged on those issues again (dereliction of duty btw). Prosecutors could conceivably entertain filing different charges against him, but I doubt that will happen.

Others have reported this, but I've been completely unable to duplicate it. If you can find a way to reliably cause it to happen, please let me know the exact sequence of steps you take, which browser you're using and which OS.

Bobbie Beckel is a loud, shrill, obnixous lout. He was campaign manager for Walter Mondel and we know how well that election went for the Dems. His only interest is in himself and he seems pathetic and desperate to get any attention and just hang on to some role on TV.

Everytime I see M.M. in a video, I can't help but notice her un-professionalism. Don't get me wrong, I like her, but she has a lot of work to do in the professionalism department. She needs to watch the stuttering (um, uh, er), the bad grammer (you know, like) and the rolling of the eyes. She needs to gather her thoughts ahead of time, then she won't be stuck searching for words.

It's a bad habit I come across so often now-a-days, so it's not just her. I just happen to notice it with her, since it seems more pronounced; probably due to her inexperience. I'm sure as she progresses in this business, it will improve. She may want to consider taking some speech lessons in the meantime, though.

In a sense, I'm not so sure that's true. Beckel knows full well that the media will backstop him on any manipulative lie he comes up with, no matter how outrageous. Therefore, I'm not sure how much brazen boldness is really required. It's a lot easier to do when the media across the nation will ram your lie home for you. "You lie and I'll swear by it," as the saying goes.
