At the Official Obama Site: Crazy on Toast

Thu, Jun 19, 2008 at 2:39:10 pm PDT

Some quick hits from the official Barack Obama community web site, fascinating examples of the thought processes of the Democratic candidate’s base of supporters. Because we care.

Here’s Obama fan Mutee Ameen (who belongs to 9 groups, including American Muslims for Obama and Marxists/Socialists/Communists for Obama), with a slice of crazy ranting about Blackwater and Zionists: Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | Mutee Ameen’s Blog: Blackwater USA.

Blackwater USA
By Mutee08 - Oct 18th, 2007 at 7:55 pm EDT
Also listed in: 9 groups

It’s a great sign that the Iraqi people want Blackwater USA out of Iraq. For those of you who don’t know what Blackwater USA is I’ll gladly explain. Blackwater USA is an organization made up of Christian wingnuts, who believe that killing innocent Iraqi women and children will bring about the final battle in Jerusalem between the muslims, christians, and jews. Now, currently in our military there is also this problem as some commanders and generals believe this bull$hit too. I believe that Eirk Prince and Al Clark the persons in charge of Blackwater USA are also good buddies of the current President, and Eirk Prince contributed quite a bit of money to Bush’s presidential campaigns as well. Each Blackwater guard, if you can call them that, are earning $445,000 per year. In my mind this is a front organization for the protection of the far-right in Isreal, in other words a bunch of Zionist sympathizers. Now that you know what this so call private military company, or as I call it mercenary organization, is doing, you won’t be fooled by right-wing nuts or Zionist sympathizers.

P.S. Don’t drink the kool-aid

Mutee08

Next out of the toaster, Franky Lamouche with some advice to Obama on how to handle “uneducated whites and Zionists:” Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | Franky Lamouche’s Blog: Obama Corp: Danger Zones.

Obama Corp: Danger Zones

Obama Corp: Danger Zones

Two danger zones come to mind: uneducated whites and Zionists. The former of the Ohio valley, the latter of Florida.

Brigades of local volunteers—preferably blood relatives of these natives—need to be deployed to enlighten the uneducated and reason with the Jews. Otherwise GI Joe McCain will be our next President.

For example: the uneducated say Barack is a Muslim and the Jews say he supports Hamas. Neither group will, therefore, vote for him. The simple rebuttal is Barack is not a Muslim and he does not support Hamas.

The truth, however, is that the presidency is a secular office and religious beliefs are not relevant; this debate should have been settled with the election of JFK. As for Hamas, they represent the poor and displaced and, for the historically minded, there is little difference between them and the Irgun.

The uneducated need to understand that they cannot sacrifice their country because of ignorance. The Jews need to understand that they cannot sacrifice their country (USA) because of allegiance to Israel, no matter what deal they believe God may have made with Abraham millennia ago.

Wasn’t that tasty?

Here’s a singed-around-the-edges moonbat who was previously banned, but is now back with a head full of rage and a caps lock key set on STUN: Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | kris williams’s Blog.

WELL, BACK AGAIN!!!

MY GOD , FOLKS THEY ARE REPUBLICANT’S - BUT THE PEOPLE MAKING THESE COMMENTS ARE SUPPOSSED TO BE LAWYER’S AND THEY’RE DEFAMING THE CONSTITUION!!! HOW THE HELL, DO YOU GET OUT OF LAW SCHOOL WITHOUT UNDERSTADNING ‘HABEUS CORPUS’. THESE ARE SOME OF THE PEOPLE RUNNING THIS COUNTRY - WE’VE GOT TO GET RID OF ALL OF THEM!!! AS BARACK SAYS, FROM BOTTOM TO TOP!! GULIANNI IS NOW RUNNING AROUND SPEAKING FOR OLDDIRT, HIS LACK OF INTELLIGENCE IS HILARIOUS. ANYBODY ELSE SUSPICIOUS REGARDING THESE MOSLEM WOMEN BEING INSULTED BY THE OBAMA CAMPAIGN TODAY. I’M A CHILD OF WATERGATE AND IT’S DIFFICULT NOT TO REMEMBER ‘CREEP’. HALDEMANN, EHRLICHMAN, WERE SPAWNS OF THE DEVIL AND CAME UP WITH ALL KINDS OF CRAP TO DETORT. I SAY TO YOU, THERE ‘OFFSPRING’ ARE STILL AROUND I.E. KARL ROVE AND COMPANY!! WHEN IT COMES TO REPUBLICANT’S, ONLY BELIEVE WHAT YOU SEE AND HEAR AND EVEN THEN, BLINK TWICE AND HOLD YOUR HAND UP TO YOUR EAR!!!

AT ANY TIME, THIS COULD BE MY LAST BLOG (UNTIL I RETURN) - SO EVERYBODY GET STRONG, AND TAKE NO SH*T!! I TRULY AM FOND OF ALL OF YOU, WE’VE BECOME FAMILY!!! C.K.

Stop! I’ll talk!

Finally, another previously banned poster returns (the one highlighted in this LGF post), with an ominous warning for the “Nazi Neo Con Republicans:” Barack Obama : : Change We Can Believe In | The Spook who sat by the door. (Former CIA Agent): A STORM IS COMING!!!

This movement of young and old; Black; White; Hispanic; Asian; and Native Americans; Democrats; Republicans; Independence; Libertarians have created “A Storm” that is coming to America. The wealthy ones’, (Nazi Neo Con Republicans) time have come to an end. “Remember ... A Storm is coming.” Your domination over this country and time for honoring yourself will soon be at an end. Obama Needs to Explain How He Helped Wounded Troops

In Sen. Barack Obama’s latest tv ad (running in Wisconsin), “Country I Love,” he touts his record (albeit limited) on taxes, welfare reform, and most interestingly, helping wounded troops.

...In the ad he says, “That’s why I...extended health care for wounded troops who had been neglected.” To back that up Public Law 110-181 is cited. With a little research at Thomas.gov you find P.L. 110-181 is the 2008 National Defense Authorization Act. Obama wasn’t present for that vote. Getting a bill through the Senate is a tedious process with many different votes, but Obama has to offer some evidence he actually did something to do what he takes credit for doing. His campaign forgot many eyes are watching and digging.

Taking a different angle, James Joyner has a minor problem with Obama playing the poverty card.

Here is what I see as the future should Obama win - my taxes go up exponentially, they come after my guns and try to control how warm/cold my house is and how much I drive. They will also take away my perfectly good employer paid health insurance and force me onto some crappy government program. They will gut the military and intelligence services and shove multi-culti bull crap down our throats. The fairness doctrine will pass and we will lose our only voices - talk radio and the Internet.

The future should Mr. McCain win - all the libs heads explode, they melt down, riot and are put in mental hospitals/prison where they belong. The rest of us will just get on with life.

Scott McClellan blamed "neocons" for making President Bush do stuff on Tuesday night, June 17 on the PBS Tavis Smiley talk show.

McClellan bragged he was bi-partisan, child of democrats, now practically a moonbat now that he's plugging his book explaining how he was a talking parrot instead of a thinking White House spokesman.

All kinds of crazy conspiracies in Scott McClellan's pandering to the crazed.

The Obama campaign has a choice to make.

Either they can keep on making a half assed attempt to properly moderate their site- which to date is a testimony and monument to incompetence and mediocrity- or Obama comes out and definitively excoriates the whack jobs and makes clear his disdain for the rhetoric that is anti American, antisemitic or just plain vicious.

It is not a matter of free speech- these nut jobs are free to say and believe whatever they wish. When it is all said and done and done however, it is the candidates 'house'- and he has every right to demand civilized behavior in his 'house.'

If he doesn't, HE will become the issue.

My experience - and I live in what would amount to the Leftist Vatican, if they believed in such a thing - is that leftists are a bunch of JO artists. Their calls to action don't translate into action. On my local scale, they whine while it's up to folks like me to actually keep the trains running on time. And should BO win in November - Heaven forbid - it will still be up to folks like us to keep things from falling apart. Good, hard work can be slowed down. But it will not be stopped. The left lacks the stomach for work.

Why put our country at risk of massive suffering & failure when the stakes are even higher than in 1976-1980?

Fair enough. But then how would you explain their ability to actually get a crazy leftist like Obam'uh into the position and the other ways that the Left has been able to affect society?

in my experience, having dated (what seems like) every crazy leftist of the right sex in CA and NY, the Left eats, sleeps, breathes, and dreams politics. To them EVERYTHING is politics. They push it at meals, they push it at stores, they push it on vacation, etc etc etc.

Maybe its a function of the differences of opinion (ie: they believe Gov/Politics should control every aspect of ones life and Conservatives think less Gov the better), but I'd like to think that more Conservative values could be seen in society.

Boys marry Boys these days you know, and G-d is considered a myth.

Well, J'ing O has always been popular, and I suppose one could say it has a great many committed adherents. But it doesn't accomplish much of note. Taking the long view, we're still living in a world shaped by Reagan and his revolution. Taking the short view, yeah, we've got a lot of work to do to counteract the momentum the left lays claim to. “I think that is largely a myth,” he said, picking apart the liberal ranking. “He has been in the Senate too short a time to take any particular votes as indicative of his ideology.”

I see, it’s not that he’s a liberal it’s that Obama doesn’t have any experience. Got it!

Yes i've noticed that much of the Obam'uh support is a result of ignorance, willful blindness, and overall Bush Hatred!

Their voting for Obam'uh is not much more than an overstearing against Bush policies; or in otherwords, a vote against Bush.

This is probably why Obam'uh's most repeated argument for his election is that McCain is just Bush's Thrid Term.

Blackwater is a Protective Service.

They do not conduct offensive military operations, and they never have.

Blackwater is hired by the US State Department, foreign governments, NGO's, and Mainstream Media outlets to provide protective (bodyguard) details for diplomats, food convoys, and journalists in dangerous environments, such as Iraq.

===

Lefty doesn't like Blackwater because Blackwater is very good at what they do. Which is preventing Lefty's terrorist hero's from killing more innocent people.

Lefty is a lying POS. Lefty is also a chickenhawk for not joining his terrorist comrades.

Sorry to go off topic, but I have to confess something, publicly, to Charles. On Tuesday, in this thread on Discarded Lies, I wrote:

it is my carefully considered opinion that in this current controversy, Charles Johnson is overall on more solid intellectual and moral ground than Evariste and most of the other people on DL, as much as it kills me to say it.

Which is not to deny that Charles has been a buffoon in the past week. Mainly I just want to get Charles and Ev in a steel cage and kick the shit out of both of them for being such complete swaggering bully-boy prats over this. (Though again, mind you, I am slightly more sympathetic to Charles, simply because he's not the one who's been bamboozled by a chucklehead cumface like Auster.)

Later in the thread I wrote:

...because Auster pre-screens every comment that appears on his site, in a way he is very much analogous to a totalitarian censor. Charles might be acting like a corrupt and bullying cop, but people who have registered on LGF can post anything they want without having to run it by him first. Thus, compared to Auster, Charles is relatively non-totalitarian.

And a little further down:

I would even concede that [Charles is being] a massive fucking hypocrite for indulging in the same sort of behavior that he has frequently attacked other blogs for. Yet despite being a massive fucking hypocrite, Charles runs a site that is relatively anarcho-libertarian in its approach to moderation of reader comments, when compared with the NYT or Auster's blog. And despite being a massive fucking hypocrite on one or two issues, he is nonetheless a smarter and more decent man than Auster will ever be.

Which is why it troubles me to see some of my friends on DL defending and even praising Auster, while heaping verbal abuse on Charles.

I'm not posting this here not to stir up shit, but to give Evariste and Zorkmidden some assurance that I'm not applying a double standard -- since, elsewhere on that same thread, I had publicly criticized them for saying rude stuff about you on DL, which I considered to be essentially "behind your back." Therefore, I thought the only recourse was to show them that I'm prepared to publicly criticize you "in front of your back." Please understand that I sincerely believe I'm acting in the spirit of "tough love," though. (And also, admittedly, because I relish the chance of eviscerating Lawrence Auster.)

I won't hold it against you if you ban me for this, but I have faith that you will understand why I took this step.

Whatever happens, all the best to you,
Rob

I haven't heard that, what did he say?

Obama apologizes to Muslim women
Sen. Barack Obama today called the two Muslim women who were barred from sitting behind him at his Detroit rally to apologize, one of the women and two other sources said.

"Sen. Obama called himself and he apologized to each of us," one of the women, lawyer Hebba Aref, told me just now.

Aref, who had suggested that an appropriate fix might be seating her behind Obama at some future event, said she'd also discussed that possibility with his staff.

Aref and Shimaa Abdelfadeel had been barred from sitting behind Obama on Monday by volunteers concerned that they would appear on camera with him while wearing headscarves.

Can someone send this to Charles?

It’s a great sign that the Iraqi people want Blackwater USA out of Iraq. For those of you who don’t know what Blackwater USA is I’ll gladly explain. Blackwater USA is an organization made up of Christian wingnuts, who believe that killing innocent Iraqi women and children will bring about the final battle in Jerusalem between the muslims, christians, and jews. Now, currently in our military there is also this problem as some commanders and generals believe this bull$hit too.

So much crazy, so little time.

It’s a great sign that the Iraqi people want Blackwater USA out of Iraq.

I kind of like this bit, actually. If the Iraqi people could pull their act together and toss 'em out, it'd be a cause for celebration, if only of the first cohesive indigenous Iraqi action. But let's continue.

For those of you who don’t know what Blackwater USA is I’ll gladly explain. Blackwater USA is an organization made up of Christian wingnuts, who believe that killing innocent Iraqi women and children will bring about the final battle in Jerusalem between the muslims, christians, and jews.

This is a particularly Arabic mindset. I'm generalizing myself, of course, but often in the Middle East people assign a religion to someone even if none applies: There is no secular entity. Is Blackwater Islamic? Of course not. Is it Jewish? No. Well -- it must be Christian.

As for a final battle -- see Point No. 1 about the rarity of a single cohesive indigenous action.

Each Blackwater guard, if you can call them that, are earning $445,000 per year.

That's a chuckle, that bit.

In my mind this is a front organization for the protection of the far-right in Isreal, in other words a bunch of Zionist sympathizers.

In your mind, indeed. Lovely to see evidence for those of us living out here in the world, though.

Now that you know what this so call private military company, or as I call it mercenary organization, is doing, you won’t be fooled by right-wing nuts or Zionist sympathizers.

OT:

Just received this e-mail from Newt Gingrich's site:

I have some exciting news to share with you. Because of your hard work and support we reached one million signatures on the "Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less" petition.

Your voice and the voice of one million Americans is truly making a difference in shaping the national debate.

Just this week, President George Bush, Senator John McCain, and Florida Governor Charlie Crist all called for lifting the federal ban on offshore drilling. And U.S. Representative Lynn Westmoreland has started a pledge in the U.S. House in support of American oil production that has been signed by 126 members of Congress.

Now, we need your help to reach our next goal: 3 million signatures by the Democratic and Republican national conventions this fall. I hope you will go online today and make a special contribution of $10 or more to receive your own "Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less" bumper sticker to help us grow the movement.

I also hope you'll forward this message to 5 friends and encourage them to sign the petition.

Thank you for supporting this movement of one million Americans demanding real solutions to our energy challenges.

Your friend,

Newt Gingrich
General Chairman
American Solutions

Internet addiction is a 'clinical disorder'

Obsessive internet use is a public health problem which is so serious it should be officially recognised as a clinical disorder, according to a leading psychiatrist.

They suffer four symptoms: They forget to eat and sleep; they need more advanced technology or more hours online as they develop 'resistance' to the pleasure given by their current system; if they are deprived of their computer, they experience genuine withdrawal symptoms; And in common with other addictions, the victims also begin to have more arguments, to suffer fatigue, to get lower marks in tests and to feel isolated from society.

From the article. How very forgiving of these Muslim women. Why are they so forgiving of Obama, yet most other grievances move into lawsuits? Hmmm.

This incident was unfortunate and extremely disappointing. Senator Obama has called us each to personally convey his deepest apologies and acknowledge that this was inexcusable. We both immensely appreciate the Senator's phone call and his commitment to remedy this issue. We commend him for displaying qualities befitting an effective President. We acknowledge that this injustice has been taken seriously and that Senator Obama does not tolerate discrimination against Arabs, Muslims or any community. We are assured that he and his staff are committed to upholding the principles of justice for all peoples and bringing about change we can believe in. The infringement on our rights occurred and has been addressed; now we are ready to move forward. We will continue to support Senator Obama in his campaign and wish him the best as the race continues.

re: #240 Quilly Mammoth

I just found the most precious quote from David Boren, newly placed on the Obama team. He explains why Obama isn't a liberal.

“I think that is largely a myth,” he said, picking apart the liberal ranking. “He has been in the Senate too short a time to take any particular votes as indicative of his ideology.”

I see, it’s not that he’s a liberal it’s that Obama doesn’t have any experience. Got it!

Boren to me is the epitome of a smarmy politician.

Obama's voting record in the Senate is primarily "not present" and his attendance at Foreign Relations Committee hearings on Afghanistan is pathetic.

His ideology is Marxist.

But momentum towards what? I happen to like America the way it is and don't want to "change" it into another Socialist Paradise.

(Sorry for delay. LGF was crawling for me for awhile)

I don't either--you and I know that issues are complex and proposed fixes are fraught with unintended consequences--but a large number of lefties buy into the simplistic rhetoric that America is bad and that once somebody like Obama gets in office and the Democrats take over congress, all their cares will vanish when the big tit in Washington feeds their every need.

The laziness that prevents one's own productive labor and the envy that resents those who are productive are very strong motivators among certain people. Add to that the old 60's refrain, "When you got nothin', you got nothin' to lose" and you have a potent brew for street action.

To answer your question: momentum toward that very socialist paradise that you and I know contains a nest of vipers but that the naive hope will run with milk and honey.

More than a few of the large ISPs are known for doing this. Prodigy used to. They save huge amounts of bandwidth by cache the page and then serving the cached version up when somebody else call for the same page.

Your machine may also be cacheing the pages. You can get rid of that by going into Tools/Options and emptying your cache. Note: if you want to empty the cache of this page then you need to be somewhere else when you empty the cache.

A storm that bankrupts the rich sweeps away more than just the rich. It sweeps away Democrats, Republicans, and "Independence". It even sweeps away fools with pretensions to sophistication who cannot distinguish when to use "has" from when to use "have".

Hint: You has got it backwards. Your time have come to an end. Your storm have no stormtroopers. You has no stormtroopers either. When a man learns how to write, he have a powerful voice. He have respect. But your readers has no respect for your threats.

re: #292 Throbert McGee

Uh, Throbert? You might wanna consider that LGF might not be the best place to work out your disagreements with evariste/Zorkmidden/Charles vis-a-vis Lawrence Auster.

You also might wanna consider that your rambling post manages to insult all of them, and doesn't do a thing to refute any of Auster's positions. If you want to prove your friendship for all, why not send everybody flowers, or buy them a nice CD? And if you don't like Auster, why not post about him, instead of DL/LGF?

And your not voting for McCain is helping to prevent this how?

I live in a very blue state, my vote hasn't counted for shit since 1972.

re: #430 EC Marm

I'm just replicating the conditions of the morning thread where there were a lot of hurt feelings about a comment that should have been deleted and while it may have, a lot of us that hit "New Comments" still continued to see the offensive comment. It's still there on my system.

EC, if either you or your ISP caches pages, then that happens all the time with every page you view. Thus, it would of course happen again.

Different scenario with Ajax, I think. I'm not requesting the entire page with a reload.
