Obama: 'I Know I Don't Look Like...'

Thu, Jul 31, 2008 at 3:21:02 pm PDT

McCain campaign manager Rick Davis accuses Barack Obama of “playing the race card.”

Which he was, of course, just as he has been for quite a while now. This little “joke” was a variation on the line he used in Berlin: “I know that I don’t look like the other Americans who’ve previously spoken in this great city.”

Yesterday in Missouri, Obama predicted McCain and the GOP would use racially tinged attacks against him.

“What they’re going to try to do is make you scared of me,” Obama said. “You know, he doesn’t look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills.”

An Obama spokesman denied that the line about “dollar bills” was related to the Democrat’s race...

Yeah, right. He must have been referring to his ears.

Hasn't this Jackass declared himself the winner already, and King of the Fuckin' Universe, as well?

He certainly HAS the ears of a Jackass, that is for certain!

“You know, he doesn’t look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills.”

What a stupid comment. The "dollar bill" has one President on it. Did he mean all of our money? Because a couple of those guys were never President.

Wow- he doesn't know jack about history or American currency, apparently.

B-HO has himself so insulated from any negative references in the MSM that they are genuflecting at his appearances, grateful to be breathing the very air that B-HO breathes, and thankful to the Jackass god that they are alive at the very moment of B-HOs ascendancy to the Throne atop the White House.

...wait, "White House"...isn't that a racist term in the Jackass PC Dictionary?

See links above. Yep, there was.

The $100,000 bill figures as a somewhat silly plot device in the early Denzel Washington flick, The Mighty Quinn. The CIA decides to finance its black ops off the books... by using extremely rare, immediately-identifiable novelty currency notes. Okey-doke. Unfair, IMO, to smear the Taliban with Dems and journos.

Taliban seem to know which end of an AK is the "shooty" bit, and they seem to know a bit about trigger control. I have seen numerous Dems and journos discourse at length about guns, and then do the most dangerous, jackass-stupid things (I am looking at you, DiFi).

Taliban also seem to know how to "make do" in difficult terrain. That takes a bit of knowledge.

As for violence, I am afraid the only difference I see between Taliban, Dems, and journos is what method they advocate using to destroy my country.

Our coinage was not bad--though it takes a while to appreciate it. It's gone completely to hell in the last few years.

Our gold-standard bills were pretty good too. Before we went on the silver standard, "greenbacks" were ONLY $1 bills. I forget which bill was yellow-backed and which was red, but the money was color-keyed--which, by the way, is something foreigners often complain of about our current bills, since most of the rest of the world still does color-key bills by denomination.

There are (used to be) reasons why the rest of the world uses what looks to be Monopoly Money.

And he ends with:

But by flatly accusing Obama of having "played the race card," Davis ensures that the issue, already looming over the historic campaign, will now take a front-and-center position in a contest that is increasingly being fought more over character than issues.

like the accusation came completely out of the blue. As Charles notes, Obama has dealt that card twice now.

Today, the Gallup daily tracking poll -- the rolling average of voter interviews conducted, in this case, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday -- shows the race at almost a dead heat. Obama had a statistically insignificant one-percentage-point lead over McCain, 45% to 44%.

Yeah. I was about to say something similar. I get cranky when this canard is laid out when racial discrimination is talked about.

Look at it this way; WW II was fought because Hitler violated the treaty of Versailles. (He did but there was a lot more at issue).

The civil war was fought over whether more states could be let into the union as slaves states or free states thus allowing the slave owners to gain more political power over the Northeast/Midwest.

Lincoln campaigned on that issue which is why the south took his election to be the slap in the face that it was.

Ludacris Releases Song Attacking Hillary Clinton
Ludacris, rapper and avid supporter of Barack Obama (Obama once claimed to have Ludacris in heavy rotation on his iPod) has released a new song called 'Politics: Obama Is Here' in which he attacks Hillary Clinton as an 'irrelevant bitch'.

Lyrics:
I'm back on it like I just signed my record deal
yeah the best is here, the Bentley Coup paint is dripping wet, it got sex appeal
never should have hated
you never should've doubted him
with a slot in the president's iPod Obama shattered 'em
Said I handled his biz and I'm one of his favorite rappers
Well give Luda a special pardon if I'm ever in the slammer
Better yet put him in office, make me your vice president
Hillary hated on you, so that bitch is irrelevant
Jesse talking slick and apologizing for what?
if you said it then you meant it how you want it have a gut!
and all you other politicians trying to hate on my man,
watch us win a majority vote in every state on my man
you can't stop what's bout to happen, we bout to make history
the first black president is destined and it's meant to be
the threats ain't fazing us, the nooses or the jokes
so get off your ass, black people, it's time to get out and vote!
paint the White House black and I'm sure that's got 'em terrified
McCain don't belong in ANY chair unless he's paralyzed
Yeah I said it cause Bush is mentally handicapped
Ball up all of his speeches and I throw em like candy wrap
cause what you talking I hear nothing even relevant
and you the worst of all 43 presidents
get out and vote or the end will be near
the world is ready for change because Obama is here!
cause Obama is here
The world is ready for change because Obama is here!

The Obamanation also misstates the facts because Alexander Hamilton was biracial just like him. So there's a guy who also wasn't President but who was biracial and on our currency. The Obamanation is just plain idiotic and a buffoon and the media would have you believe that they just can't imagine a single joke with the Obamanation as the target, because he is such a lightworker he doesn't do anything remotely stupid or capable of caricature. But as others have pointed out and I agree, the Obamanation again put himself in the category as a present President of the US, who doesn't look like those past Presidents. This is again chutzpah and presumptuous, and may be a reason why his polling numbers precipitously fell eight points since his return from his Mould on World Farce Tour. And in a trifecta, the Obamanation did what he always does when caught in a lie or brazen cynical claim or change of position, he denies that anything of the kind occurred. Since Richard Nixon we haven't seen this kind of pathological lying in a candidate for the highest office in the country.
And I believe even Nixon knew when he was lying, but I don't believe the Obamanation can see that he's lying and with a press corp that seems to be imitating bordello workers on the Obamanation's ranch, it's no wonder he feels he can do this with impunity.

It's that nasty McCain playing the race card, poor Obama is only the victim.

Wow, they're all over this.

But Rick Davis, Mr. McCain’s campaign manager, had a snappy answer. “Barack Obama has played the race card, and he played it from the bottom of the deck,” he said. “It’s divisive, negative, shameful and wrong.’’

The retort was, we must say, not only contemptible, but shrewd. It puts the sin for the racial attack not on those who made it, but on the victim of the attack.

It also — and we wish this were coincidence, but we doubt it — conjurs up another loaded racial image.

The phrase dealing the race card “from the bottom of the deck” entered the national lexicon during the O.J. Simpson saga. Robert Shapiro, one of Mr. Simpson’s lawyers, famously declared of himself, Johnny Cochran and the rest of the Simpson defense team, “Not only did we play the race card, we dealt it from the bottom of the deck.”

It’s ugly stuff. How about we leave Britney, Paris, and O.J. out of this — and have a presidential campaign?

McCain did not make a racial attack. He "attacked" him for being a "celebrity." Now they accuse McCain of bringing OJ Simpson into it. There will be no end to it. The election won't end it. The inauguration won't end it.

Obama's spokesperson said that what He meant was that "He didn't get here after spending decades in Washington."

Let's look at the "other " presidents who show up on our currency:

Andrew Jackson -- Served in Washington for 6 years as Congressman and Senator from Tennessee.

Abraham Lincoln -- Served one term as a Congressman.

Ulysses Grant -- Declined appointment to be Secretary of War. Assumed his first political office when he was elected President.

George Washington -- Never spent much time in Washington. Washington wasn't even the capitol until he left office. George Washington picked the area that became Washington, DC.

So He is wrong. Our "dollar bill" presidents served a cumulative 8 years in Washington before becoming president, not decades.

I think there will be riots, and I think Obama is setting America up to suffer a great deal of violence. If he had any shred of maturity and responsibility, he would make it clear that it is wrong to falsely accuse someone of racism, and even more wrong to resort to violence as a response to either real or imagined racism. Instead, he is steadily whipping his followers into a frenzy by implying that if he loses, it will be due solely to white racism. He is doing exactly the thing he should not be doing.

As someone else said earlier in the thread, he's really starting to look like a more sophisticated, more educated Al Sharpton.

Soon he'll publish his family tree proving direct descendency from Adam (the gardener), Moses, J.C. (by way of Mary Magdalene), Buddha, Ahura Mazda, Muhammad ibn Abdullah and Joseph Smith.

This religious bio diversity will surely establish the He is the annointed one.

The campaign will release updated versions to include missed deities if a substantial number of complaints are received from an excluded cult.

After that they'll have to re-calibrate the stupidity index to allow lower scores. But I'm sure the PC police will find something even dumber next week.

Or send him to Saudi Arabia which would amount to the same thing but save ammunition.

Poor ol Obambi , nobody will play the race card on him so he has to do it himself.

I believe this looks like Obama both front (the hair hides the large ears underneath) and he is the butt of the backside of the coin.

[Link: z.about.com...]

Of course equating the Obamanation with either American Indians or buffalos is racist.

If the Obamanation keeps telling us he doesn't look like any of our great Presidents or statemen, and he doesn't have the qualifications to boot, what reason is there to vote for him except liberal guilt?

Also, sorry about the mixup with Alexander Hamilton's parentage. Thanks for the correction.

Maybe the Treasury Dept. should issue a new coin: the 1/10 of a cent. They could put Obama’s likeness on that, and you’ll only need nine of them per gallon of gas. (What’s with the 9/10th of a cent, anyhow?) It could be minted from old beer bottle caps; after all they’re worthless, too. Or then again, how about a $3 bill? Now that’s truly the change we can believe in.
