I can only afford a 'staycation'. I had a funny situation last month... I got the 'stimulous' check in the mail, dutifully put it in my bank account and paid more on a certain bill (isn't that stimulating the economy?) and two days later, I got a notice from Colorado Revenue that I owed back taxes from 2004. My CPA screwed up and took a 20,000 dollar tax deduction a year earlier than he was supposed to. The back taxes+penalties+interest=$1232.00 so I was $32.00 in the hole. The gummit giveth and the gummit taketh away. :
