Video: Secret Gitmo Bay Built in Denver

Sun, Aug 17, 2008 at 12:00:17 pm PDT

Activists/idiots from the “Recreate 68” gang are hyperventilating over a “secret political prison camp” they’ve discovered being built right under their noses in Denver. It’s like a little Guantanamo Bay, dude!

I saw this earlier. What do they think? They can roll into town, tear up the place, riot & create mayhem and not have to go to jail? Too bad, so sad. . . . if you plan to play, then plan to pay.

2 Sharmuta  Sun, Aug 17, 2008 12:02:25pm

Of course- the leftists would lose zero sleep over a Gitmo styled camp if it was for their political enemies- the hypocrites.

3 Fat Bastard Vegetarian  Sun, Aug 17, 2008 12:02:48pm

Now that it is known about, it won't be used.

Darn. Who let the cat out of the bag. Can you imagine 2000 protesters caged up for a couple of days.

Oh. Can you imagine the smell?

That is exactly what they expect. That is how it works when they go to G8 meetings.

I wanna' know more about the one under DIA. I've heard it's staffed solely by Lizards. Oh, the Queen is rumored to stop by ocassionally. I've heard there's a special cell for David Icke.

I've been hearing that the Denver authorities are prepared. Don't know how true this is,tho very doubtful we'll ever see anything like 1968 at a convention.

22 Fat Bastard Vegetarian  Sun, Aug 17, 2008 12:09:11pm

The only thing beautiful about Denver (sorry any Denver Lizards) is the backdrop. Other than that, just a "same ole dirty big city kinda thang" going on.

IMHO.

24 Sharmuta  Sun, Aug 17, 2008 12:09:26pm

It's almost as if the lefties have been taking notes this last week from Russia.

They threaten bullying behavior, and when Denver law enforcement takes the precautions they need to defend themselves (like Poland), the leftists pitch a bigger hissy fit.

Just goes to show you that bullies really hate it when people stand up to them.

They use such expressions like GULAG, or fascist, because they know it shocks those who actually know what is meant by them.

I’ve heard that the military actually has a device that has been affectionately labeled the ‘Crap Cannon’ the National Guard is readying to use on protesters at the DNC in Denver.

It essentially emits a specific sound wave in a frequency that causes anybody it is aimed at to lose control of their bowels.

This after banning urine and feces. I have to hand it to the democrats. They think of everything.

This is great. Like so many that are faling over themselves to help Obama, another "friend" of the DNC does damage. I would love to see the moonbats screech about global warming, and then start ranting about how their fellow travellers are just so coooooolllllldddd because The Man was keeping them in cages outside all night.

Apparently there ARE solar panels in place out at DIA (just for the DNC convention) but they are not hooked up to anything. It's all just for show.

Locally the scientologists actually videotape people at the subway exit closest to their org on protest days, hoping to catch people who haven't put their masks on yet. So most of the protesters put on their masks before they exit the car, or even before. Local BART police are of the opinion that it's legal as long as they're not causing any trouble.

I got the 'stimulous' check in the mail, dutifully put it in my bank account and paid more on a certain bill (isn't that stimulating the economy?) and two days later, I got a notice from Colorado Revenue that I owed back taxes from 2004. My CPA screwed up and took a 20,000 dollar tax deduction a year earlier than he was supposed to. The back taxes+penalties+interest=$1232.00 so I was $32.00 in the hole. That's the whole point in a nutshell ,because the feel good , "time out", crowd is trying everything in their collective power to craft a world free of consequences and repercussions. A penal system not of productive incarceration (and some plan must be put in place to at least attempt to make such a reality and counter the damage done by the "great society" in this regard) ,and repayment of dept ,but one more akin to an after school "detention" center complete with most of the same amenities of the outside.

re: #168 Fat Bastard Vegetarian

Was just looking a medal standings. How can China have over a a billion more people than the USA and have an official language (Mandarin).

Yahoo has an information page...United States? No Official Language.

It's a lot more complicated than that. Mandarin is what they speak in and around Beijing, which is why it's the "official" language. There are nine other regional languages/dialects.

Their one saving grace is that there is one written language. The characters mean the same things to everyone everywhere, even if each language/dialect pronounces them differently.

The traditionally-recognized seven main groups, in order of population size are:

* Mandarin 北方话/北方話 or 官話/官话, (c. 850 million),
* Wu 吳/吴 , which includes Shanghainese, (c. 90 million),
* Cantonese (Yue) 粵/粤, (c. 80 million),
* Min 閩/闽, which includes Taiwanese, (c. 50 million),
* Xiang 湘, (c. 35 million),
* Hakka 客家 or 客, (c. 35 million),
* Gan 贛/赣, (c. 20 million)

Chinese linguists have recently distinguished:

* Jin 晉/晋 from Mandarin
* Hui 徽 from Wu
* Ping 平話/平话 partly from Cantonese

There are also many smaller groups that are not yet classified, such as: Danzhou dialect, spoken in Danzhou, on Hainan Island; Xianghua (乡话), not to be confused with Xiang (湘), spoken in western Hunan; and Shaozhou Tuhua, spoken in northern Guangdong. The Dungan language, spoken in Central Asia, is very closely related to Mandarin. However, it is not generally considered "Chinese" since it is written in Cyrillic and spoken by Dungan people outside China who are not considered ethnic Chinese. See List of Chinese dialects for a comprehensive listing of individual dialects within these large, broad groupings.

According to the text, people away from Beijing tend to mix and match languages, much like the Spanglish you'd hear in East LA.

Incidentally, the US does have an official language, it's just that there's no particular law requiring it. You might notice that while some services are offered in other languages, 90+% of all Federal government business is done in English. All of the laws are written in English. Most Federal forms are English-only.

We're not as multilingual as you might think.

Denver is not looking forward to some visitors...
"Watch out. Re-create '68 is coming to Civic Center.
The plan: Invite thousands of protesters to camp out for days during the Democratic National Convention in August in a place that doesn't have adequate water or toilets. They're going to turn it into "Free City" - free of racism, sexism and homophobia (and, one assumes, soap and hygiene).
They're gonna protest. They're gonna camp out overnight. They're gonna wipe out "the disease of an Imperialist, Capitalist, Racist system as seen in our communities," according to their Web site. They're going to get naked and spell out the word peace with their undoubtedly well-toned bodies. They say 50,000 people will show up to live in tents during the Democratic National Convention."

LMAO

285 realwest  Sun, Aug 17, 2008 9:25:04pm

I'd bet real money that "Recreate 68" was never in Chicago during the Dem convention in 1968.
It was, quite simply, horrible. I watched, from the safety of my home in NYC and was absolutely astounded: not just at the conduct of the "demonstraters" but also at the conduct of the Chicago Police Department.
Only a small percentage of the demontrators were arrested, iirc, but many, many more were beaten and beaten badly, by the Chicago cops with night sticks and with riot shields. If my memory is also correct, there were far more demonstrators in hospital emergency rooms than in jail.
I deplored the outrageous violence (more than a few Chicago cops were also in the ER's) then and will glady deplore it shoud it happen the same way in Denver this year. A convention floor fight?
Sure. Dem's tying themselves in knots, making it extremely difficult for Obama or Clinton to get oh, 30% or so of "normally" Democratic votes, GREAT. But seeing Americans beat the crap out of each other - and to see what amounted to a police riot amost made me physically ill.
