For example we now know that Jimmy Carter is not only an Elder Statesman but that he admits his real problem was that he was to conservative and he tried to govern from the center when the Democrats in Congress wanted more Change faster. What I got from her mom's film clip is that she grew up in a loving, middle-class family that saw to it she got a good education. Her life has been one of joy except for the death of her father. She has a husband who may be the next president, a 6-digit salary, and two beautiful healthy children.

Yet she has a chip on her shoulder the size of Gibraltar. I'm looking forward to seeing how she weasels out of that.

Juan williams had good comments from an African american point of view. It was definately an attempt to take away that elitist thing and make them look more like typical everyday folks. The message was still extremely liberal and not particularly inspiring.
