Alan Colmes, Sewer Diver

Sun, Aug 31, 2008 at 2:06:00 pm PDT

He tried to hide it after the fact, but Alan Colmes posted a really slimy attack piece on his blog about Sarah Palin: Alan Colmes Heads Into the Sewer.

Thanks for publishing this Charles. This despicable allegation that Sarah Palin is herself to blame for little Trig's Down's Syndrome is a direct slap in the face to every parent of every disabled child in America.

If Fox wants to continue to appear to be fair and balanced - not to mention keep their viewership, then Alan Colme should be fired forthwith.

It shows alot about Colmes character that he deleted it and doesn't have the balls to stand by a post he wrote.

Not only that, but it shows his complete ignorance about Down Syndrome. It's easy enough to research it on the net if you don't know about it- alan really has no excuse. What a stupid, ugly, petty attack. alan- you're a worm.

Posted this on the last thread....more appropriate here:

I find the whole rant about Palin did during the "birthing" of her last child incredulous.

Hope she tells all of them that it was "her choice". Until it was born, she could kill it according to them and it shouldn't raise an eyebrow. Why anyone with a 13 year old pregnant daughter doesn't even have to know about any of it...it is the "girls" choice.

You can't talk about prenatal care...why she could have aborted it after it was born according to Obama. If Obama is right on everything, why is Colmes questioning it? The dems will be angry at him for not getting with the program...

I particularly enjoyed this "measured" comment:

Yet, the same outraged protectors of our values have no trouble questioning Obama’s judgment: a nodding acquaintance with someone in his neighborhood, his choice of a church, his very faith, and then they blamed that on the Clintons).

This is...egregiously dumb. Ayers was not a nodding acquaintance, that's absolutely clear. His choice of a church should be questioned!

And he's accusing Hot Air of having been rabid about the birth certificate nonsense? What?

Colmes is an idiot.

68 USA  Sun, Aug 31, 2008 2:20:32pm

I'm not defending Colmes .. in fact I pointed this out in an earlier thread. But I am not sure he tied Palin's travel to Trig's Downs' Syndrome. He did, however, question her judgment in traveling. The supreme irony of Colmes' position is that for Democrats, whatever women do with their bodies is the woman's "choice" and nobody's business -- unless the woman is a Republican. Had she chosen to miss her flight and have the "fetus" scraped from her uterus Colmes, presumably, would have been pleased with her "choice" and no judgment issue would have arisen. But getting on a plane after speaking with her doctor to travel home to deliver the baby! That calls into question her "judgment." If all this is truly relevant, I suppose Dr. Colmes will be asking for the release of prominent women Democrats' OB/GYN records so he pour over them and enlighten us with his views on the judgment reflected by their decisions.

69 Gaye Kukkin-Offenyam  Sun, Aug 31, 2008 2:20:50pm

It appears that Colmes is questioning "the judgment" of someone who chose to give birth to a Down's Syndrome child.

It is my imagination, or is this perilously close to an endorsement of eugenics and infanticide? At the very least, it suggests that there is a wing of the "universal federal healthcare" movement that would gladly endorse forced termination of pregnancies which the universal healthcare provider has determined are less than worthy--a slipper slope indeed.

It is not your imagination. It is not perilously close. It IS an endorsement of eugenics. The comments to the new page are full of "she shouldn't have been so foolish as to have a baby at 44".

I thought this was a brilliant pick from the start, and have been a fan of Sarah Palin after her appearance on Glenn Beck. And, I was surprised by the good judgment shown by Sen. McCain. But, the story just keeps get better and better. The Left are now stepping over themselves with amazing regularity. The more research I do into her background, the more satisfied with this selection I become, and the greater my opinion of Sen. McCain's judgment becomes. His measured response to the RNC, in the wake of Hurricane Gustav, gives him the appearance of presidential leadership, especially in stark contrast to the coronation of the anointed one.

Alan Colmes
From dKosopedia
Jump to: navigation, search

Alan Colmes is the suspiciously weak and ineffective "liberal" foil to Sean Hannity on Fox News. Before he was hired by Fox News, the open spot he filled was labeled as "LTBD" or "Liberal To Be Determined." Worse than a milquetoast, Colmes serves as the liberal Stepin Fetchit for Fox. He is a figure almost masochistic in his willingness to give ground in arguments to conservative guests by providing strawman arguments. It is also highly suspicious that Fauxnews picked a Secular Jew to fill the role of a liberal.

Colmes also hosts a late night radio program The Alan Colmes Show.

re: #108 Dianna

I did rather flinch at "Willow", I admit.

Little known fact, apparently:
(I learned this on a train trip from Denali to Anchorage by the tour guide. The reason she brought it up is because we were passing through Willow, and there were "no tresrepping" signs for a mile before the town along the tracks. The guide was from Willow.)
Several years ago, a referendum came up about moving Alaska's capital from Juneau, because it's only accessible by boat and air.

After much debate, Alaskans officially voted the new capital to be Willow.

Officially, apparently, WILLOW -- that's actually the capital of Alaska.
BUT, when everybody figured out how much it would cost to physically move everything, the state didn't actually do anything. Would have involved, possibly, a tax (four letter word in Alaska).

All her (Sarah Palin's) other children appear to have names of actual towns in Alaska. Most of those names, of course, also mean something cool in one of the "indigenous" tongues there.

The guide also said a lot of money was made and lost speculating on real estate near Willow, and that was probably why all the "Keep Out" signs were there.

At any rate, it's a cool trivia thing, and good for a beer bet.

We have freedom of speech. Colmes, however, is not just a private individual expressing his personal opinion. He is primarily a reporter. Many of the allegations that he has made against Palin and her family are outright libel. Not just a distortion of fact - libel. Lies about things he could easily have checked, put permanently into the public record in writing.

So the blog post in this topic talks about how the offending page on Colmes's blog has been taken down. I did copy what I thought was the important paragraph and past it into last night's Overnight Thread:

As the Alaskan media reported, Palin was attending an energy conference in Texas on April 18 when her water broke four weeks before her due date. After this happened, Palin didn't head to a hospital or even leave the conference, even though the premature rupture of fetal membranes is normally a cause for an immediate examination by an obstetrician, who will observe the fetus on a monitor to guard against infection and other life-threatening complications. Two other reasons for heightened concern were Palin's age, 43, and the fact that prenatal testing indicated the child had Down syndrome.

A surprise coming from Holmes, whom I've always regarded as a gentleman and loyal advocate.

Expect the Democrats to become REALLY unhinged as the Republicans outmaneuver them once again.

They are more deeply disturbed than that and don't need an excuse to become unhinged: see Wellstone Memorial.

Irony of the abortion issue.....Barry's mother was a first semester freshman in college when she became impregnated. She was a liberal socialist. In 2008, that probably would mean abortion.

Today, BHO is the most pro-abortion person in congress. He is to the left of NARAL. Should he be alive? Meaning really, his mother would have disposed of him if things were then, like they are today.

188 WayDownSouthInBama  Sun, Aug 31, 2008 2:43:40pm

Just let people like Colmes keep talking. Every word of hate and sexism that spews from their mouths only goes to prove what I've known for a long, long time: liberals love women only as long as they can use them to gain power for themselves. The true nature of how the Democrats feel about women should be clear for all women to see now, first with Hillary, and now with Sarah Palin.

You know....conservatives/right-wingers like us are always going on about 'Family Values'. Isn't LGF a Family Values blog?

Let's say for the sake of argument that Palin's first child WAS conceived before she got married. (Not that its anyone's business. . .not that it really makes any difference to her credentials to be VP anyway).

So what?

Didn't she then do the honorable thing by marrying the baby's father and staying with him for the next 18 years?

What the alternative here, that she should have raised it as a single parent or aborted it? This is just a stupid line of criticism.

re: #225 buzzsawmonkey

Here's where all this is coming from, people: the Left is all about lopping off, pruning back. Don't get more oil, even if we can, domestically; cut back on cars and don't heat your houses. Don't build power plants with available technology; learn to live with scarcity and compel people under threat of legal sanction to buy the "right" light bulbs. Etc.

This lopping off and pruning back also underlies the leftist endorsement of abortion. Don't take responsibility for your sexual activity, or the consequences of it; lop off, prune back, get rid of the pregnancy. The broad endorsement of abortion is of a piece with the other artificially induced and managed scarcities that are part of the left-wing mindset and platform. And, of course, the remaining few children which are the result of this managed scarcity are extra precious and extra spoiled, as anyone who has ever encountered Feral Yuppie Moms can attest.

Sarah Palin personifies a repudiation of this managed scarcity at every level; she is not against drilling, she is not against currently available energy technologies--and she is not willing to buy into the managed scarcity of children either.

It is her living rebuke to the managed scarcity of leftism that lies at the heart of the current frenzy of dislike.

Yep, I call it "taxing and tailoring"... what behavior they can't tax they try to tailor through legistative means. The behavior they hate most is usually capitalistic.

Sometimes, but not always by a long shot.

Down's children can have problems with the organs that are developing when the face is forming in the womb (a few months prenatal age); notably the stomach/intestines, and heart - but these can be fixed far more easily these days. In past generations, the kids were often kept at home and out of school, so their less exercised hearts and the brain growth potential owing to the early plasticity of the growing brain were both adversely affected. That's when the myth of their profound backwardness arose.

Not every Down's child has serious challenges with intellect either. They DO have to work harder than people without DS to achieve what comes more easily to us, but so do the blind and deaf. They can and do attend college level classes, many in therapy have learnt to speak and read several languages in early childhood - they are very bright kids, and I was honored to be a foster parent to DS children.

Frankly, the best strategy for Democrats right now is just ignore her. Any perceived unfair attacks on her and her kids will be gold for John McCain.

Just ignore her. However, I don't think the democrats are smart enough to realize this.

Sit back and laugh as McCain shows the libs cannot walk in this Palin minefield he has placed in front of them.

It's only been 50 hours and we've had

- Virtually every lefty blogger saying she is a bimbo

- Obama's surrogates making fun of small towns

- the what-a-woman-does-with-her-body crowd suddenly question a Governor's decisions about what to do with her body

- unsubstantiated rumours from Kos about the child being her daughters

- allegations from Andrew Sullivan that she named her kids after witches

Thank you alan colmes, I knew someone would step up to the plate for McCain's new vice presidential candidate. You have single-handedly been the best advertisement for the Republican party so far. While I have no doubt that other buffoons will inadvertently promote the cause of sanity in the United States, your contribution is greatly appreciated, but I do feel that is only because The Daily Kos does not have the exposure and acceptance of your venue. While their efforts exceed yours, you have the greater recognition, and so to you go the accolades. Again, thank you for exposing the left as total barbarians, and for furthering Governor Palins' campaign. You deserve more....much, much more, and I hope one day that you will receive your full reward. Again; many, many thanks. I am looking forward to the next flotsam that washes forth from your venom-soaked ego.

So the blog post in this topic talks about how the offending page on Colmes's blog has been taken down. I did copy what I thought was the important paragraph and past it into last night's Overnight Thread:

You know, unless she went to a doctor in Texas to confirm that her water did indeed break, that whole paragraph could be completely wrong. Sometimes its obvious, and sometimes it is not. Palin herself may not have really known. I'd like to see the source for their information- because all of that information is completely confidential and it's against the law for medical staff to say anything. Think the family did? Unlikely. So Colmes may be basing his entire premise on something that isn't even true.

Oh, and she's a hunter (read guns) and a fisherman, and loves the outdoors. But I can assure you that one of the BIG problems the left has with her is that she didn't have an abortion, either with her child with downs, or with her possible (per Alan Colmes) pre-wedding pregancy. She did the right thing in both cases, and with a 20 year marriage and 5 beautiful kids she is the epitome of a strong, Republican woman. The Democrats are definitely worried about Governor Palin.

Some of them were already framing the 2008 Election as a test to see whether America is racist or not (as if the only possible way that Americans could reject Obama and his far-left socialist agenda would be on the basis of skin color.)

Now, they're feeling the need to confront the suitability of women for public service.

Senator Barbara Boxer characterized Condi Rice as being unsuitable for her foreign policy influence because she has no children.

Now some are describing Governor Palin as unsuitable for the position of Vice President because she has five children.

How long before the Dems decide that PMS could potentially start a world war?

The Dems are confused and in full meltdown.

re: #68 USA

Bingo.

BTW, I bet that doctor has patients a lot further away from a hospital than Sarah Palin in an airplane at 30,000 feet over the lower 48!

She better scare the crap out of them. Few but Alaskans can appreciate the power of the Republican machine in the state that she not only confronted full face, but beat. Stevens, Young, Murkowski. The attacks coming from Alaska against her are most likely to emanate from that camp... Lisa Murkowski and Lydia Green have the long knives out for her still.

I'm not Alaskan, but I appreciate it. She's now become one of my heros for it. She's an inspiration, not only to women, but to anyone who was ever told they couldn't run for office without kowtowing to the special interests.

Wow. Reading the cached comments at Google is striking. No wonder Colmes has buried the evidence. Yet another liberal grasping for any available straw. Of course, now that it's been pointed out what he said, and that he tried to hide it, he's now trying to blame everyone else, another standard tactic. And, of course, the coup de gras, the old liberal tradition of lying about what your criticizers have said in order to discredit them. The left wing debate trifecta, pretend you didn't say what you said, blame your actions on others, lie about others. Is Colmes trying to set up a run for office?

Incidentally, if they want to play the shotgun wedding card, let's look at some facts. Obama was born in August, 1961. His parents were married the previous February. That's only six months. Oh, and the marriage was invalid because Barack Sr. was already married in Kenya. Why don't they bring that up? Because all they care about is "hypocrisy," right? I say it's because, while conservatives have ideals they don't always live up to, being imperfect humans and all that, they have no ideals beyond the satisfaction of their animal appetites. You can't be a hypocrite if you have no morals at all.

Then he compounds things by writing another column on his blog where he whines that he has a right to question Palin's "judgment" in getting on a plane for 12 hours after her water broke (even though her doctor gave her the green light and encouraged her to get home to give birth):

It's about judgment stupid

I just love the way these men have the gall to question a woman's "judgment" about pre-natal care or where she's going to give birth. A woman's water can break as much as 36 hours before she gives birth; it doesn't mean that birth is imminent. She may not have even been in labor at all at that point; and after having had 4 kids, she oughta know if she is or she isn't. And it turned out just fine; the baby was not born on the plane or anywhere else other than the hospital of the Palins' choice.

Furthermore, I assume that her husband was involved in the decision to just get on home as quickly as possible, but there's not a word about his "judgment."

For a very long time now, I have pondered the cognitive dissonance that goes on in the head of a feminist Democrat. The cultural relativism rampant in the Democratic Party has been on a collision course with feminism for a very long time.

A party that cannot bring itself to say there is truly right and wrong in this world cannot elevate the needs of women over the very people that would bring them down- e.g. Islam or even a garden variety misogynist like Colmes. After all, aren't all viewpoints equally valid? How can the rights of women be more important than the rights of a polygamist to have 5 wives?

I think that cognitive dissonance is finally becoming evident to women who, before this election cycle, thought the Dems would fight for them. In reality, the Dems just fight for control of them.

I was born here. My Male is fourth generation; a number of our friends are multi-generation Californians. We're all conservatives, and gun-owners.

The problem's not us - it's the folks who move here from wherever you live.

I assume you mean Alaska by "here".
I was worried briefly about the talent drain if Sarah Palin gets to be vice president.

Sarah found out four months into her pregnancy that baby Trig would be born with Down's Syndrome, but she publicly declared that because she's pro-life, she has no choice but to carry the lifelong burden to term (we're paraphrasing). The baby was named after the math class he'll never take in high school…

The left have their stereotype of Conservatives and as long as Republicans fit that image they are comfortable. They want to choose their opposition. As long as that is a group of old white guys who are barely concealed hypocrits about financial and sexual corruption then they are confident that they have seen the movie and are willing to play along. They want all the people they oppose to be Richard Nixon or Ted Stevens or Larry Craig. They get apopleptic when the target refuses to sit still. In fairness Conservatives act the same way. For all the complaining everyone knows that Allan Colmes has his job not because he is an eloquent representative of the left but because he is in fact an ugly (Skeletor?) clown. The KOs gang know it to. That is why they complain about him. If Fox wanted an articulate lefty who looked good next to Hannity then they would have hired Ron Kuby.

Some info that may interest a few here. The Palin's fishing business is in the Bristol Bay sockeye salmon fishery, gill-netting is the method used to catch the salmon. It is very, very competitive, and occasional violence has broken out over boat-positioning, "corking" of nets and so on. Where I live in Washington state, many of the people are practically dual-residents of Washington and Alaska, and are well represented in this fishery and others, and also the logging industry in southeast Alaska, Prince of Wales Island, etc.

The fishing is limited in time and there is quite a race to get out to the grounds and jockeying for position, and this is where things can get pretty wild. Locally I can remember an incident where a man's boat was dynamited at night, attempted murder. Rivalry over fishing positioning was the motive. I had one of the Bristol Bay salmon boats , they were originally sail only until mid-50s or so to kind of handicap the fishermen. I didn't gill-net, but had an engine put in the boat and conversion to Washington coast salmon troll fishing, a hook and lines method. It was a double-ender (pointed on both ends), nearly 30 ft in length. Anyway, the Palins wouldn't have survived in the Bristol Bay fishery if they were pushovers. It ain't a place for the meek. 490 reno911  Sun, Aug 31, 2008 3:54:47pm

John McCain must have learned some Jedi mind tricks in that N. Vietnam prison. The ease with which he manipulated Obama into picking Biden was a sight to behold.

During the crucial time that Obama was making his VP decision, McCain swamped him with ads calling his experience and leadership abilities into question. McCain then used the MSM to promulgate the fake meme that Leiberman was his VP pick. Obama panicked and picked Biden. McCain knew that if Obama picked Hillary it would be all over, and McCain just.worked.Obama.

Then to cap it off, McCain flanked him with Palin as his VP pick. That incident also exposed Obama and the Democrats for the intellectual light-weights they are. You got to hand it to McCain, that was masterful.

re: #501 reine.de.tout

Look at San Francisco - it has the lowest ratio of children to population of any city in the country.

Gavin Newsom (voted in as the marginally saner mayoral candidate - and boy, was that a mistake!) then took a lot of money from the budget to study how to make the City more family-friendly.

Gavin has now a bunch of initiatives - funded who knows how - all of which ignore the fact that the City is insanely expensive, has terrible schools, and the infrastructure and services stink.

The only people left in SF are the rich - who can ignore most of the problems, or pay to get around them - and the poor (who frequently work around the problems in their own ways). And both sets are aging. The students don't stay, and the families leave. SF is on its way to a crash that will either ruin the city forever or get it fixed.

Real estate in California is going to go right on being a problem. Too many people, not enough properties.

I'm not running away from what I posted. I simply wanted to avoid the vile comments under that thread. The post wasn’t about Down Syndrome. It was about the issue of judgment. Those who read into this what I did not say have their own agendas. So, go ahead. Enjoy.

Re my last post.

At that new thread, Colmes is just getting ripped to shreds.

He's still a twit - pre-natal care doesn't matter. Downs is there at the moment of conception. He feels she should have engaged in a little eugenics - pure and simple.

The funniest thing about this topic is that, in the lounge, one of the running jokes has been that Alan Colmes was arrested/seen/known for ... breaking into people's houses so that he could steal "floaties" out of their toilets as they slept.

Coincidence? I think not! We were right all along about him being a sewer diver.

And the attacks on Sarah Palin are propagating at Obama's Blog. I like the one that said McCain picked Palin because she allegedly resembles his first wife.
Palin a dead ringer for McCain's first wife prior to accident

This is not intended as a diss to Sarah Palin - but I just can't get the image of McCain chasing Palin around the desk in the Oval Office out of my head!

Well, sometimes I think the bit about present-day liberalism being a mental disorder is true. Of course he's a hypocrite! He's married to a very attractive woman, but everytime Ann Coulter's on, all she has to do is stretch her legs a little to totally discombobulate Colmes.

It doesn't work on Hannity.

Why would an attractive woman marry someone as stupid and ugly as he is? I guess the word "golddigger" comes to mind. Either that or he got her drunk on their first date and she hasn't sobered up yet.

They should give Colmes the axe and replace him with Kirsten Powers. She gets Palin and understands how huge this is for women.

The only reason Colmes is still there is because Hannity has a soft spot for him.

Colmes looks like a sexless, hairless, lipless villain from a 19th Century English novel. The kind of man the heroine gets trapped marrying and rues it every day for the rest of her life.

O'Reilly is always going on about despicable conduct in the media, particularly NBC and it's cable minion MSNBC. I wonder if he has the consistency to bag on Skeletor.

Not a chance. Ol' Bill has taken a turn to the left in the last few months. He'll deny it, of course, but if you watch his reporting regarding Obambi, he seems to really be kissing his ass. I don't know if it's because he really likes him as a candidate, or just because he wants him to come on his show. Either way, I've cut way down on my Factor viewing. Me too. Actually I stopped watching O'Reilly a long time ago.

My impression is that O'Reilly is like a Center-Right politician. He sees where the popular sentiment is going, and follows it. If Obama was lower in the polls, he'd probably skewer the guy.

The dumbest thing I saw him do was lead a goofy "rebellion" against high oil prices. His idea was for his viewers to boycott gasoline on a certain day of the week, to send a message to the oil companies. Obviously, buying my gas on one day vs. the next has zero effect on supply and demand, but - hey - it helped some viewers FEEL like they were doing something, and it helped O'Reilly himself FEEL more important.

No, the same rules don't apply to non-Democrats. We'd be stooping way too low, to imply that Bill Clinton ever got it on with his daughter Chelsea. (Hell, Slick Willy hit on everything ELSE with a skirt, why not her?)

-- But we won't even go there, will we? Nope. Off limits. Chelsea's cute little paunch of several years ago was NOT evidence that Bill knocked her up. No way. He never had sex with that girl.

Furthermore, Barack Obama never, never was overly 'friendly' with either of his two beautiful young daughters, was he? Yecch! That's disgusting!

(Applying recent LLL 'standards' to this concept, just how far south can it go?)

Taking a closer look, that might be the basis for these crazy, distorted LLL slander-attacks. Their own webpage says that the boss must be distanced from the dirty-work, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the boss doesn't know what's going on behind the scenes.

It's probable that Bill, Hillary, and Obama & crew helped to write the LLL Smear Rulebook as exemplified by the Daily KOS, and that's honestly how they think everyone else IS. Maybe they have no concept whatsoever of what an honest, upstanding, patriotic, Flag-saluting, God-fearing, ethical, genuinely happy, hard-working American family is all about, so when faced with one, all that they know how to do is to apply their own twisted concepts and attempt to tear it apart.

The United States of America really does need some genuine Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Stewart, and John Wayne style of ethical patriotic inspiration, to put the US back on an even keel. Governor Sarah Palin, like it or not, it looks like you and your fine family have been picked for that job, for now. Your instant popularity has made it obvious that your country needs and wants the Constitutional inspiration which you're offering to your fellow Americans, and we're rooting for you all the way. Godspeed!

I've lived in California and Washington State, too. Alaska, as well. i've seen what the spread of Liberalism has done to these places. Not good.

My husband and I are 2nd generation Californians. Almost all of that time spent in LA area. It is sickening what has been done to my state since I was a kid. There are barely enough Republicans in our legislature here to keep the Dems from enacting even more ridiculous giveaways and anti-business bills. There are still a lot of conservatives here but we are grossly outnumbered. RCP poll averages has The One up by 17-18% here. My husband and I are not planning on staying here when we retire.

My sister moved to Oregon 16 years ago, and has seen that state go down the liberal rabbit hole. She blames a lot of it on the huge influx of lib yuppie Californians who have ruined the small-town charm of her area. These libs are like locusts - consume everything that has been produced and preserved by conservatives until there is nothing left, then move on to the next.

Greetings, Lizards…long time, no post…

Slightly OT, but…

One thing I find ironic, is that many of the attacks against McCain is that he chose Palin SOLELY in an effort to sway the Hillary crowd who are still miffed that she didn’t win the Democratic nomination and were uncommitted as to how they would vote.

Do you suppose if Obama had chosen Hillary as his VP that anyone would be suggesting that he did so only to secure those votes?

Of course not.

He only would’ve been choosing what he perceived as the most qualified person for the second spot on the ticket.

So why aren’t they giving McCain the same credit?

Oh…that’s right. “Hypocrite” is the left’s middle name.

Now, now…

If she were exercising good judgment, she would’ve IMMEDIATELY gone to see a doctor right where she was.

And, in the minds of the left, if she’d have let that doctor suck the baby from her uterus and let it die on the table…well, that would be good judgment too.

Bless you; and I hope you're being told by your pediatrician and learning specialists that this is NOT your fault. My oldest has worked for quite a few years with autistic kids and their parents. Part of her graduate research was studying this, and when I asked if there was a specific cause, her answer is no, that there are too many variables and not one specific common denominator - which I'm sure you already know, but a mother's heart is always to take responsibility even when it's not her fault.

I'll be praying for you often, as no mother of an autistic child or any special needs child deserves that kind of torment.
