Daily Kos Hits Bottom, Digs

Mon, Sep 1, 2008 at 8:29:31 am PDT

I don’t even want to link to this sickening, depraved post at Daily Kos, but I suppose people should know just how completely lacking in decency these creeps really are: Daily Kos: Sarah Palin Is NOT The Mother [Photos+Video].

I expect revolting behavior from Kos, it was more shocking coming from Colmes and Sullivan

2 Kosh's Shadow  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 8:32:09am

Your O'Rourke quote on the open thread seems to apply to many of the Kos-kiddies.

3 Pullus Iulius  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 8:32:49am

I'm sorry to see it on this good site. Maybe just as well to show the utter depravity of the enemy. Not the opposition, in this case. The enemy.

4 ErnieG  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 8:32:57am

I have seen the buzz on the internet over this. I believe that we are witnessing an historic event the likes of which has not been seen since 1884, in which a national election, and the course of history, is influenced by an intemperate remark by a supporter. James G. Blaine's supporter, the Rev. Dr. Samuel Burchard, made this fatal statement: “We are Republicans, and don't propose to leave our party and identify ourselves with the party whose antecedents have been rum, Romanism, and rebellion.” That slur energized the Irish vote in New York, and cost Blaine the presidency.

I know...even after he posted pics of her being pregnant and thus putting an end to this issue he still thinks that the McCain campaign should issue a statement about this affair...WTF?

The left creates a ficticious issue and now Palin and McCain owe them to dignify the slur?

How about this....I know a guy who was once mugged by a guy who looked like Obama. I am not saying it was OB but he sure looked like him. Can Obama provide some proof of where he was the evening of this event and account for his whereabouts. I mean I dont want to cast any suspicion but my friend would like some clarification before he casts his vote....sheesh!

ALso, ANdrew keepson saying he is justified becasue McCain made the baby the centerpiece of hew pick. They did? I haven even seen or heard them mention the baby.

Tremendous Hype

Gustav ( thankfully ) appears to have been much less powerful than billed.
Obama was all hype. No storm surge
Both seemed to have highlighted the strength of the GOP

AMEN.

Given that Gov. Palin underwent amniocentesis, I would have thought that reasonable people would accept that as proof of pregnancy.

As a junior high teacher, what REALLY upsets me is that attacks on Miss Palin. Girls struggle enough with body-image. To suggest that a perfectly healthy-looking and attractive teen LOOKS PREGNANT is despicable.

45 Miss Molly  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 8:43:23am

You can always expect something stupid and nasty from Sullivan. Colmes has become increasingly vulgar and nasty of late and Fox needs to put a stop to this if they want to keep their viewers.

We should all let Fox News know that if they wish to keep Colmes then we will let their sponsers know we do not need to purchase their products if they continue to support Colmes on Fox News. Colmes clearly crossed the line.

46 bigpinkfluffybunny  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 8:43:27am

I demand to see medical proof that Sullivan, Colmes et al provide medical records to prove that they do not currently, nor ever officially have had, rectal cranio-insertion.

Hell, I want Obama's records, too! I strongly suspect that he has a lot of the press' heads up his ass, and demand more than just that one page medical statement he has released. (Ever notice how they just generally photograph him from the waist up? I mean, sure....he is athletic and maybe he can hide it a little better, but come on.) I just want to be sure he's not hiding anything for Joe Biden. Have you seen Biden lately, anyway? Where are they hiding him?

Underage children need to be offlimits. They didn't choose this life. And I've seen many girls with the stomach paunch that Palin's oldest one had - it's a normal thing. She's still a cute kid, and will grow to be a lovely adult. And even if this was true - this is a family matter. It's not illegal. Gov. Palin is not drowning puppies and kittens in Alaska. Geez.

It is that they are attacking her in the most vile manner simply because she is a woman and a mother.

I am furious that the left dares to attack this brave woman, implying that she has in some way neglected to provide proper prenatal care and is thus responsible for her son's Down's Syndrom.

I do read her and generally only find her a 6 out of 10 on the ridiculous scale. However today she comments on Sarah Palin. Most interesting was her comments;

Obama may have been president of The Harvard Law Review, but Palin graduated from the University of Idaho

. Talk about clueless.....so here we go with the East Coast education thing again. And the left wonders why people see them as elitists.

From that posting:

Unless someone has counter evidence, we can drop this crap now. Yes, there are still some interesting questions, such as why she flew to Dallas and back when she was this pregnant, and why the Alaska Airlines crewmembers insisted that she was not visibly pregnant on the flight. Nevertheless, until this photo is debunked, we look stupid pushing this rumor.

Pathetic. The infomercial viewed by 38 million flopped. All they can do now is attack. He is supposed to be up 10-15 points. Now that they are tied or McCain is even ahead, plan B goes into motion. It is the Chicago politics way...more of the same.

I believe Rush said The One needed to be up by at least 15 points coming out of the convention or he would be toast. Hoping this assessment is correct.

I say let them have at it. The more desperate and hysterical they sound, the more the suspicions of regular, honest folks will be aroused.

The only sad part is that the spectacle of the left's primitive, infantile and degenerate lashing out really illustrates that there is a discouragingly large group of uncivilized, defective barbarians living amongst us who are determined to reduce a great nation (albeit not without its problems, many of which are due to those very barbarians) to ruin.

The good part is that their commitment to error, fraud and deception will eventually be their undoing.

I do read her and generally only find her a 6 out of 10 on the ridiculous scale. However today she comments on Sarah Palin. Most interesting was her comments;

goddess, you nailed it.

They have killed their 2 birds with one stone. (They have done more damage against their own cause than any advertisement could have done)

First, by attacking the Governor, they have smeared an example of the success for which they claim they are responsible for at the ground floor.

Second, by attacking her daughter, they are in stark contradiction to that which they claim to be fighting against.

It's such a stupid, Youtube-comments-section never-seen-a-real-girl-naked kind of comment to make, too.

"LOL SHES FAT SHE MUST BE A PREGNINT WHORE LOL"

If these idiots had seen a woman's stomach anytime after their own birth, they'd know that it's perfectly normal for a young woman to have a bit of padding on the abs. (All the girls & women I've known since my youth have been aware and sensitive about it, too.)

I've been saying lately to anybody who will listen that when the Dems start attacking Palin, it's not going to be about her experience or her ability, but her womanhood. They're going to skip all that relevant stuff and go right for the vintage-16th-century hatred. "She's a whore! Her daughter is a whore! She's probably schtupping McCain! She's window dressing! Her family is broken!" et cetera.

Sick, and stupid, in any age, but especially these days, and from people who like to claim that they're ABOVE this garbage.

The only reason I post over there is in the hopes that there are a few sane people that I can reach. Every vote counts.

I've been saying lately to anybody who will listen that when the Dems start attacking Palin, it's not going to be about her experience or her ability, but her womanhood. They're going to skip all that relevant stuff and go right for the vintage-16th-century hatred.

"Thine mother was but a harlot!"

At least the left is now now owning John Edwards but sheesh.....can't you just see the Dems OPPO gang donning parkas and running up to the North Slope looking for some out of work woman looking to lie for a buck.

Hi all y'all

In the mid 50's, I was a kid just starting out and spent a summer at a
camp for the 'dis-disabled', as a counselor in training (CIT) in the Catskills. (Can't even remember the name now:-)
Somewhere near Liberty, cause I used to get served at a restaurant there. (I was 15 or 16).

The point .....the kids with this syndrome were the loving-est, most en-endearing kids I have ever been with. What a privilege it was to live with them for a summer. Wish I'd have been more loving then myself.

And now I read this disgusting shit from the lousy, loving left..

KOS, and similar, are NOT on his campaign.
Plausible deniability.

Pay no attention regarding the groups who televised debates where Obama agreed to participate in, and the groups that wanted to sponsor a debate but he would not agree to participating.

This hateful stuff has been on the Huffington Post as well. Many Congressional Democrats posted on that blog. They have a respsonsiblility to denounce these terrible attacks on the Palin children. I know hell will freeze over before that happens, but it doesn't relieve them of responsbility.

Oppose the Iraq war? Sure, I understand that (disagree with it, but understand it)
Call for all forms of Alternative Energy (except of course of nuclear energy, which, iirc, provided France with 70+% of it's electricity) instead of drilling for our own oil - again disagree with it but can understand it politically, anyway.
Attack the children of the VP nominee or indeed call into question the VP's qualifications because she gave birth to a child with Downs Syndrome? - NOPE, SORRY, DOESN'T COMPUTE IN ANY SENSE OF THAT WORD. Barry O bitched and moaned about people attacking Michelle (even though she was actively campaigning for him at the time). Barry and Michelle bitch and moan about their kids not being subject to investigation/debate and then they turn around and ABSOLUTELY CONDONE (by not condemning it) the same behavior by THEIR SUPPORTERS against Barry's Political Opponents.
Something tells me that Barry and Michelle very much did listen to Rev. Wrights sermons, and took them to heart for them to NOT CONDEMN KOS AND

205 JHW  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 9:21:44am

I know a lot of young woman who are very apolitical but occasionally have asked me opinions on various politicians and political positions. Usually they buy in to the Democrat line, "help the little person", the rich are screwing us, etc. Partly because they struggle hard in their own lives to make ends meet and don't pay much attention to politics they search for a reason why life is difficult for them. Earlier this year I advised them to listen to Rudy, with some success. I'm noticing more interest in politics by these young women since Hillary ran, and I'm hearing a kind of fury at how they believe women have been treated by Democrats . Gov. Palin is definitely getting their attention, especially with the working class connections they can relate to. These dirty tricks are going to backfire big time for the Dems, I don't think they have a clue how many basically apolitical young women are going to rally against what they see as a direct attack against them. I've heard some really enraged statements in the last few days that kind of surprised me being in a Dem stronghold and coming from people with little prior interest in politics.

206 Dahveed  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 9:21:49am

207 StinkHammer  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 9:21:54am

This is not surprising at all. These uber-lefty types view any dissenters from their socio-political stances as Enemies of the People. As such Enemies we dissenters thus represent the very worst obstacle to Human Progress ("anti-Progressive") and hence must be destroyed. Implementing odious tactics (such as displayed by the odious Kos posting) is consider simply a necessary device for defeating the evil anti-Progressives. It's really that simple.

Well...

They now know that Bristol is not the mother, being that she is 5 months pregnant herself.

This is a family matter that in this date and time will expand exponentially and cause great damage. Pray for the child that should be free from the glare of all the news media.

This isn't going to be pretty. It was nasty when they hinted at impropriety and now the flood gates are open.....

254 jwb7605  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 9:52:29am

Another beer bet: McCain campaign knew about this.
Also knew (and probably steeled Sarah Palin and family) to get ready for smears.

Seems to be working so far.

Brilliant, if you want to expose the opposition for what they truly are.

re: #254 jwb7605

The McCain campaign said they were aware of the pregnancy before naming Palin as VP.

re: #249 doriangrey

Dorian, I agree totally with you on sentiment, trust me I do.

Furthermore, I am the product of an almost parallel situation.

The one problem we have had in this country, and how it has differed from nearly a hundred years ago, is teen pregnancy.

At this age, most kids are not equipped to handle everything that comes with having a child. Seeing that she comes from a great family, and strong living examples, I am confident in the outcome.

I can't argue, my preference would be not to get pregnant, but I prefer even more, not to abort the child.

Something good can come out of this, no doubt. I am sure it will.

On the whole however, teenage pregnancy, and unwed mothers are a burden on our society in the end.

Will the KosKids go under the bus?

England wants to know!

258 Shay4l  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 10:09:29am

So...Bristol Palin is running for President? Must be with all this attention focused on her.

I did not know that!

259 medaura18586  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 10:11:49am

Oh my is this demented or what!

First off, they have absolutely no good reason to think that, and second of all, the child has Down syndrome. Do they have any idea how unlikely it would be for a 17 year old girl to give birth to a child with Down?

It is exactly the older women like Sarah who are at risk.

These freaks are disgusting...

re: #89 Big Steve

Did anyone catch Maureen Dowd's OPED today.
Dowd Editiorial...
I do read her and generally only find her a 6 out of 10 on the ridiculous scale. However today she comments on Sarah Palin. Most interesting was her comments;

. Talk about clueless.....so here we go with the East Coast education thing again. And the left wonders why people see them as elitists.

Not that he would ever be accused of being an elitist though. pfff

All is lost! Abandon ship! Abandon ship!

Isn't it amazing? Obama is a hardcore socialist who hangs with America-hating preachers and unrepentant '60's terror bombers. This information should have sunk his Presidential campaign months ago. He should not be able to get elected dogcatcher.

Let them do their worst. Who gives a shit? They will say if Palin couldn't keep her daughter from getting pregnant she isn't ready for the responsibility of VP. But things like this happen to the best parents no matter how hard they try to raise their kids right. Youth and hormones are hard to control. Deal with it.

Coming up: KOS and Colmes duke it out for the Most Disgusting title.

263 kwrxxx  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 11:18:08am

This is absoutely crazy. What kind of lunatics are these people?

264 freedombilly  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 1:46:42pm

I just read as much of that post as I could stomach and I feel dirty. I can't believe that Charles wades through this crap regularly to keep all of us informed of how low the Kos Kids frequently go.

Thanks as always. I am going to try to go scrub myself clean.

265 TnTx13  Mon, Sep 1, 2008 2:35:38pm

I'm late to this party, as usual, but I jumped down to the last of the comments (knowing about the REAL baby announcement) and found this:

You are all idiots (0+ / 0-)

You told a lie. You tried desperately to sell that lie to yourselves and the world. You got caught. You offered the most connived defenses after the dam broke, Bristol's second baby, Bristol will mysteriously miscarry, etc etc.

Now Obama is in the position where he has to disown left wing bloggers and tell them to stop promoting vicious and untrue rumors about the children of candidates.

There is egg all over this place.

Crawl back in the sewer where you found this slime and STFU.

Oh, And thank you so much for your generous contribution to the election of John McCain and Sarah Palin.

I have half a mind to believe Rove engineered this. Rove you sly dog you.

I don't know if this is a lizard alias, but s/he hit it out of the park! Maybe the KKK will crawl back under the rock for a day or two...

(And sorry if someone already posted this - I'm still half-asleep...)

re: #211 dwigg

This lunatic stuff is finally getting out for all to see. Colmes, Sullivan, DKOS, etc... BHO & the MSM has done a good job of keeping the ONEs' lunatic past under wraps. Keep up with the good thoughts & work, the truth will come out.

McCain/Palin 08

If only this were true. It's hard to figure out what the left has to do to be discredited.

re: #251 jas

Mistake? Error in judgment, perhaps...but, considering what we've seen from the Palins so far, I wouldn't say that bringing a new life into that loving family is a mistake.

I believe that the mistake referred to was getting pregnant at her young age & unmarried state - the OP did say "doing the right thing now."

But, I have to say, you just couldn't make this stuff up. Any TV writer would be fired for such insanity.

re: #175 cblesz

I'm not surprised by Kirsten's column. While she is a lefty, she is not a loon by any stretch and often has some points to make that are well worth considering. Like Bechel, she represents her side will and usually without rancor.

(Male pig moment) Oh, and she's not ahrd the eyes either :-)

272 CanadianBacon  Tue, Sep 2, 2008 9:04:50am

Linky to the KOS post broken - one less piece of trash left on the net.

The damage vis. the "Baby Scandal" being promoted by the hard left will probably never see the light of day in the MSM. The only lesson (and mileage) to be taken from this is that we must, each of us, find someone who might - with innocent ignorance - buy into the Obamassiah message and show them how things really work on the left.

We don't "punish" women with babies and we don't punish the children of public figures. We don't make the people in our lives into discardable impediments, or bus stoppers, just because they shine a little light into the private places in our hearts. The list goes on: there are lots of things responsible people do when we actually live with the consequences of our actions and decisions - these are the things that distinguish conservatives from progressives.

So, to take from the lefties a page from their own playbook: share this little interlude with someone in your life who is a "soft" democrat or independent; someone who takes the Change! mantra at face value without questioning the Dems' qualifications or record. The behaviour of the lefties on this one little point (not so little to the families involved, certainly) is a great opener into a longer discussion of the various other failures of the Dems to provide anything substantive to bring to this electoral process except empty (though expensive) promises and a trail of bus-killed Obamasiah disciples.

/Change! for the bus.

Sarah Palin Is NOT The Mother [Photos+Video]
by ArcXIX
Sat Aug 30, 2008 at 01:12:31 PM PDT

Yesterday, with the news of Sarah Louise Heath Palin inexplicably being chosen as a Vice-Presidential nominee, the attentive American public was also introduced to her character. Unfortunately for all of us, it was filled with multiple instances of backtracking and outright lies. While Alaskans had been giving her an 80% approval rating, recently 87% of Alaskans polled on the subject of TrooperGate believed she was lying.

Now, I've known liars in my life. Their single core problem is not with themselves, but those around them. If they're never called out on their twisting of truths and fabrications, they simply continue to make larger lies.

Well, Sarah, I'm calling you a liar. And not even a good one. Trig Paxson Van Palin is not your son. He is your grandson. The sooner you come forward with this revelation to the public, the better.

The story begins on March 6th, when Sarah decided to come forward and announce to the world that she was pregnant, a monumental occasion for an acting Governor. Republican Governor Jane Maria Swift of Massachusetts was the first sitting Governor in United States history to give birth in office just seven years before, and now here we were once again. Yet, no one could believe the news:
