"Angry Left". The genius is that statement is that it's just going to make the left more angrier...God they're so predictable

262 Shiplord Kirel  Tue, Sep 2, 2008 6:59:05pm

I was just watching the PBS coverage.

It's so obvious, it's actually pretty funny: they keep cutting away to audience shots of people making embarrassing expressions, scowling, or yawning when the speaker says something important. They managed to catch an old vet yawning when Mrs. Bush made her statement praising veterans, for example.

Problem is that the whole Palin family reek slightly of "white trash". No offense to white trash, but not the best thing for VP.

Todd Palin:

For 18 years, he worked for BP Oil in the North Slope oil fields of Alaska. In 2007, in order to avoid a conflict of interest, he took a leave[10] from his job as production supervisor..
Financial statements filed in 2007 state that Palin earned $46,000 from his fishing business and $46,790 from BP.[That's over $92,000.]...
He is a community volunteer working in youth sports, coaching hockey and basketball...
Palin fishes and is a pilot,[28] holding a Private Pilot Certificate.

He's also a champion snowmobile racer.

His wife is even worse.

re: #631 Noam Sayin'

You ought to read an article he wrote a couple years after he got release - all about his time there. I think the WSJ re-ran it recently.

I think I read that - wasn't it in US News and World Report?

When I was campaigning for President Bush in 2004, a whole neighborhood was relieved of their W signs in one night. A local sign vendor had signs made up for them that said:

YOU MAY HAVE STOLEN MY SIGN BUT YOU CAN'T STEAL MY VOTE

I think I still have a picture of one somewhere....

I posted a few weeks back about Republican signs and bumper stickers always going missing or being defaced. Well, we had a couple of nights here a week or so ago with Clinton signs going away. A neighbor caught the guy doing it and he had Obama stickers (as well as an old Gore one) on his car. So I guess some Democrats signs do go away by theft.

Remember, folks, the savages who tortured John McCain in Hanoi did so with the wholehearted, unstinting support of the American left; that is, the present-day base of the Democratic Party.
In many cases, it was literally the same people, Teddy Kennedy, Walter Cronkite, Mike Gravel, Noam Chomsky, Bill Ayers, Ramsey Clark, the infamous Hanoi Jane, etc.

Dems/LLLs parroting “Accomplishments/Experience ” quex at Sarah Palin

...by using the CIC National Guard argument. - Which is irrelevant as Alaska has yet to have a disaster needing the NG and any foreign rotations of the Alaska National Guard are not under her oversight as a Governor.

McCain noob gets owned by a CNN talk host

Here are some Sarah Palin executive actions in no particular order:

Elected as AK Gov. with current 80% approval rating, by routing a corrupt sitting (R) Gov. Did massive reforms and swept corruption out of the state legislature.

Took on the oil companies twice: Once on taxes, second time with AGIA. The gas line will be built and the $$ tax benefits will benefit Alaskans.

Healthcare: AK has assured healthcare for all residents. The only reason to not have insurance in Alaska is your own choice.

re: #512 loppyd

can I give a big 'ol FU to Keith Olberdink while we're at it?

Oh and Campbell Brown, too.

In all seriousness - my 82 year old mother is victim of the MSM. She refuses to pay more for "expanded" cable and still gets the local L3 rag that shes trusted since it was a reputable newspaper (35 years ago). She can't be told anything - just hung up on me because she thinks I'm lying to her about the O'Bama/W.Ayers connection.
"Why haven't I heard about it - something that outrageous I certainly would have read about. I think you should be a little more selective in what you're reading ! Where do you hear such nonsense ? I refuse to listen to anymore of your silliness" - click. ARGhhhhhh... )
Now, I've used some "salty" language here on LGF now and again over the years. Having said that I've noticed the "language" used here of late is language I just can't expose my dear mother to. I need a source - forum, blog whatever, that I can direct her to so that she can join us,
maybe not here, but join us in spirit and belief. I'd love for her to straighten out the other "blue hairs" down at the Senior Rec. Center. Any suggestions ?
*loppyd - just using yours as an example - I've done similar. Well maybe not that blatant but still...mom would disapprove and my father would turn over in his grave knowing I exposed her to language that he'd knock a fool out for if they were foolish enough to use it in her prescence ! Very old school - know what I mean ? Seriously though - she is so blinded and has no clue how bad. And on the other hand, my father, if he were still alive, would be appalled at hearing her say the clueless things she does ! It VERY frustrating to hear a loved one so deluded and being helpless to help her out is really tearing up my guts ! Maybe there's a "seniors" version of LGF out there ? I know, I can look but you know how that goes. I could spend weeks clicking on search/links getting nothing but "come-ons".
At least I can ask for your help while I look. Thanks !

Campbell Brown is also in the tank for Obama...yet, of course, the MSM alleges (that is, the MSM lies) by stating that Campbell Brown is Objective and Unbiased...as she sells Obama's platform and does everything possible to defame McCain...and then as if CNN viewers are too stupid to realize the bias of CNN...Laughably incredible...Face the Reality CNN -- you're nothing less than the paid for Shills of the Obamatons...you're in their pocket.

Compare Electricity Prices in your area. Texas Electricity is deregulated; you have the right to choose Texas Electric Rates from among many Texas Electric Companies.
