London Muslims Celebrate 9/11

Video | Sun, Sep 28, 2008 at 4:07:09 pm PDT

Omar Bakri’s British followers, including Anjam Chaudhary, participated in a jihad conference in London on September 14, broadcast on Lebanon’s LBC TV, featuring a telephone visit by Bakri himself. (Courtesy of MEMRI TV.)

Following are excerpts from an LBC TV report on Muslims in London commemorating 9/11 which aired on September 14, 2008:

Reporter: Islamic activists in the British capital have chosen to mark the seventh anniversary of 9/11 in their own way. Once again, they called the attacks, which caused thousands of casualties, the “New York Raid.” They warned that new attacks would occur in the future, unless the U.S. reexamines its policy and attitude toward Islam and the Muslims.

Anjam Chaudhary, Secretary-General Al-Ghuraba Movement: Since the raid of Manhattan seven years ago, and the collapse of the twin towers in New York, many developments have taken place around the world. Many events similar to September 11, July 7, and November 3 [sic] have taken place in Palestine, Chechnya, Kashmir, Iraq, and Afghanistan since then.

Reporter: The event took place after the fast-breaking meal at a religious center in east London, and was attended by dozens of participants. The speakers focused on the lessons to be drawn from the attacks, and they derided the war on terror waged by Washington, and by Western and Islamic countries, saying that it had managed to strengthen Al-Qaeda, rather than weaken it.

Muhammad Seif Al-Islam, The Salafi Youth Movement: This is the consequence of your own actions an of every step you take. Wake up, wake up. So many times we have heard the warning of Sheik Osama Bin Laden, as well as the warnings of Ayman Al-Zawahiri and Al-Qaeda, calling upon the Western peoples to awaken from their slumber, and to be on their guard so that their governments will not lead them to war, causing violence and aggression. [These peoples] should prevent their governments from inciting them to become the enemies of Islam and the Muslims.

Reporter: Sheik Omar Bakri, whose return to British soil has been denied, addressed the participants by phone from Lebanon.

Omar Bakri: “Among the Believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah: Some of them have died, and others await their turn, but they have not changed [their religion].”

Reporter: From the support for Bakri’s words, it was clear that Bakri, founder of Hizb Al-Tahrir and the Muhajireen Movement, still enjoys the support and trust of his followers, who said their struggle against the British government’s policy would continue, regardless of the measures taken against them.

And what do the Troofers have to say about the Muslims joyfully celebrating "the New York Raid?"

The Muslims know that they did it. Only the Troofers are too stupid to accept this.

It is astonishing to see Westerners, with all the benefits of Western education, knowingly and willfully rendering themselves more stupid and more ignorant than the people we have seen in clips from Muslim TV.

Come'on! Let's have a show of political correctness, here.

Really though, I can't imagine what the Brits hope to gain by nurturing there snakes

They warned that new attacks would occur in the future, unless the U.S. reexamines its policy and attitude toward Islam and the Muslims.

How about this for a new policy? Hunting down and exterminating those who celebrate 9/11 as a great moment. Guaranteed to prevent them from launching other attacks.

Omar Bakri: “Among the Believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah: Some of them have died, and others await their turn, but they have not changed [their religion].”

Now if they don't change, eventually they will succeed in a really big attack, and then the consequences for them will be catastrophic.

It is their choice, not ours.

Free speech, I wish it included a provision to allow for removal of the offending speaker. Right now the UK is suffering for what was once their greatest asset, the same asset which made Rome grow into a great empire, the ability to allow colonists to become citizens. It is now being used against them. What concerns me is in the 60's in the US the "loyalty oath" was phased out, with the citizenship requirements, they said at the time it was "outmoded and unnecessary", but the great thing about the loyalty oath was that if you refuted it and did anything against your given oath you could be held for treason...."those were the...days my friend, I thought they 'de never end.....

In my opinion, it won't work, only put a bandaid on a gaping wound. Good luck folks we are going to need it. I moved all my money to bonds, gov securities, and GNMA mutual funds. Until there is a real turnaround, I'm holding assets that may have a low rate of return but I won't lose my arse in stocks that the government can take over willy nilly.

We are no longer living in modern times. A new dark age has descended upon most of the world.

Multiculturalism is nothing but a superstition.

"Celebrating diversity" is only a ritual, a talismanic chant to ward off the evils of the world, a nosegay to ward off the plague.

The U.N. is a convocation of gnarled and grasping princelings.

I think the best and freest days of humanity are behind us... the choices for tomorrow are a bloodsoaked moongod barbarity, or the soul-deadening suffocating grayness of bureaucratic overlords.

Ok but what does that mean "well informed". Believing what we believe?

Those who are for the Enemy in this WOT are well informed, they have just come to a different conclusion. (ie: that the West is the problem, not the Terrorists)

This is what upsets me. Its that the State refuses to take a side. They like to play the fence, and that is why we are unable to get anywhere, and win this thing. During ww2, the State wasn't quibbling about whether the Jews actually might have had something to do with the destruction of the German economy, or if Japan had a right to take over the Pacific, or the positives of fascism, etc....they accepted in black & white that Naziism, and Fascism were wrong and that for no reason was it ok to commit a genocide against the Jews....and then we fought it without remorse to our Enemy.

We are constantly examining our attitudes with Muslims.

The peaceful ones, we have a kind attitude toward them.

Our attitude towards Muslims who want to kill us, is well, pretty much a "f*ck 'em up and they can't mess with us attitude."

How's that for an attitude examination.

The native dignity of the rational, human person, and the liberation of that dignity, is the foundation of all that truly advances human achievement.

There are two different options to deal with fundamentalist muslims:

- OPTION 1 - Appease and convert to the religion of peace
- OPTION2 - Send them to have an early meeting with Allah, in Hell, with the 72 male virgins. The method which you send them is by your choose.

Which option will you choose? 1 or 2?

Average Muslims to me are like the lady I met in line at Target the other day. (She had the headgear on, which matched her pantsuit uniform).

We started talking about her work and hours, since she had stopped to shop on her way home. Somehow (probably my fault) got into saving for retirement (her company 401K it turned out was with my company - cool). Nice lady. Basically, my kind of people - friendly, smiling, hard-working, and liked to talk (I like to talk).

Hello Lizards!

I had a heck of a weekend, which included shaking the hands of 2 active Navy SEALs. One of them was the commander of Michael Monsoor. The other was the current head of the SEAL program itself.

It was an informative weekend where I learned that:

1) Only about 17-18 percents of American males age 18-26 are even eligible for military service, due to drugs like Ritalin and others. (this was a stunner)

2) Most successful SEAL recruits come from either high school wrestling or water polo programs.

Ok but what does that mean "well informed". Believing what we believe?

No, not exactly. With today's problem of a biased media we see how difficult it is for people to separate fact from opinion. Since many/most people receive their news via TV or newspapers, the problem becomes one of countering these sources. Many folks have neither the time or inclination to look past the headlines or the first couple of paragraphs.
OTOH, some people, even armed with facts, will never consider an alternate view, relying upon an emotional response for a particular issue.

We are entering an age of fierce meritocracy. Some sections of the earth are plunging into stupidity, madness, and death. Other sections are figuring out how to do things we have never done before, and oriented toward futurity.
I know which side I'm on.
The native dignity of the rational, human person, and the liberation of that dignity, is the foundation of all that truly advances human achievement.

That sounds wonderful.
Let me know when the unions lose their strangleholds on the manufacturing, transportation, education and public service sectors. Then we can talk about meritocracy.

One of the frequent knocks on the Lizard army is hostility toward Europe. I cant speak for others, but in my case the attitude one of almost total ambivalence. They will either figure out some sort of solution to their problems or they wont. I pay attention to the affairs of Europe only to the extent that I think it affects American national security.

Supporters of meritocracy must come to see "union" subjugants as merely pools of talent that can be raided. There is no reason that, as unions continue to suffocate talent, one cannot identify and save the few worth saving.

This is ruthless, but it is the only strategy worth pursuing. Deprive the union organizations of their best talent. Thus deprived, they will eventually make too many mistakes, founder, and become flotsam.

That reminds me of a great old movie - A Majority of One. I love Roz Russell, who plays the female lead - a Jewish widow urged by family to go on a cruise to get her mind off things (she's a gold star mother) and maybe find a nice man. Alec Guinness as a Japanese widower is a little strange, but he's such a good actor, you forget.

The theme is fascinating - it's a bit of an old-fashioned movie, but the core idea - that we can reach beyond huge differences to find much in common - never will go out of style.

It's OOP, but I have a copy. :D

We will continue to lose ground against the islamist untill we come to the realization, the this is indeed a religious war. The islamist have already proclaimed it....LOUDLY, we continue to deal with them on an individual basis rather than Islam as a country, rather than good islam and bad. There in also lies where we are loosing the battle in US. We "allow" this religion of peace to have free movement and speech, becasue "not all of them hate us" but they do convert to the type of "undesireable" muslim, with the least of provocation. Don't believe me? Just draw a cartoon dipicting mohammed doing anything, but it is still ok to take a picture of a crusifix in a glass of urine and call it "art"

I believe it does happen, independent of our efforts. It is a natural occurrence in pluralist society. The enemy is the radical imam, whose function is to turn the pluralist impulse into a contemptuous, supremacist one. Those imams have to be identified and their influence eliminated.

This will only have the effect of buying us time. It may be enough to let other, longer-running processes, take effect.

Islamic activists in the British capital have chosen to mark the seventh anniversary of 9/11 in their own way. Once again, they called the attacks, which caused thousands of casualties, the “New York Raid.” They warned that new attacks would occur in the future, unless the U.S. reexamines its policy and attitude toward Islam and the Muslims.

I just realized I hadn't commented on the post. I've been sitting here cussing, but fortunately for everyone at LGF I kept it to myself for a bit.

You know, I don't use the word hate very often. I really don't. I honestly cannot think of anyone that I've come into contact with during my life, personally, that I hate.

But I am hard pressed to find a word that describes my feelings towards these threatening thugs, these less than human sacks of sh*t, these barbaric, cowardly, repulsive, backwards losers, better than "hate". Unless it's "loathe", or maybe "despise".

And if they think that threatening the citizens of the United States of America will encourage said citizens to revise or rethink how they feel towards radical Islamists, I am afraid that they will be sorely disappointed.

‘I have not seen my daughter for nine years, but because she is a member of my family people want to make things up about her.

‘You are going to pay a heavy price. You can read it any way you like. The time is now.’

Bakri, who said the British people brought the 7/7 outrages on themselves and praised the ‘ magnificent’ September 11 hijackers, raised his six children on benefits totalling £300,000, and his daughter is following suit.

She lives with her three-year-old son in a ground-floor flat in Catford, South East London. Her rent and council tax are paid by the state and she receives child benefit and income support.

I'm so angry at the moment- I've had to restrain myself from posting for a few minuets that I might collect myself enough to post something more than a bunch of profanity.

I really don't care what they call 9/11- it only shows their depravity and bigotry, but what they should call it is their day of tears. Because i was that day that I and millions of my fellow Americans woke up, and now we stand ready to defend our country and western civilization from falling to these depraved savages. We've taken the fight to them and kicked their asses. And we're not going to stop until we've kicked their asses to the point the will never "raid" us again. And it will be to the demise of their own ideology.

Go on- chuckle over the success of your "raid", you blind fools. You celebrate your "raid" and I remember the day as the beginning of your doom.

And she probably makes a LOT of money dancing. I cannot understand why able bodied (no pun intended) people get benefits, as they call them in the UK. It happens here also, sure. But it seems particularly out of control in Britain.

And Bakri got 300,000 pounds? A YEAR?!? God save the Queen (and her country), indeed.

The Brits are very polite. I'm surprised that they did anything about the V-2 rockets.

The Brits are slow to anger but once they are aroused watch out.

The biggest conventional bombs in WWII were developed by the Brits and delivered by the Avro Lancaster, which until the US developed the B-29 carried the largest bomb load of any WWII bomber. They were sort of a primitive ancestor of modern earth penetrators and could flatten an entire city block.

Hmmm... where have I seen this before?

Oh yeah... Europe in the 60's and 70's.

Back then, the Muslims who immigrated to Europe were mostly lax, if not secular, in their religion. And yet, many of the second and third generation Muslims born in Europe are strident in their beliefs.

Assimilating a religiously defined culture is very different than assimilating a secular one... there is no guarantee each generation will continue to melt in. They will always have the option of regressing to their "true identity".

Sorry to have to advise you Colonel but the modern British state is already fascist. The loss of freedoms and the establishment of a video surveillance society with a highly politicized Police Force stops any sort of dissent from developing. Add that to politicians from both sides of the aisle who mouth platitudes whilst selling the nation further down the river, and you have got one hell of a problem.

The average Brit doesn't like the way the British nation has developed but IT'S NOW TOO LATE FOR HIM TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

If he tries direct action he gets 20 years just like that.

If he tries to elect a representative who reflects his political views the result is just another political animal supping from the public trough. Muttering soothing words whilst doing nothing or worse still being PC and doing the opposite.

Iamma the local politician for Lekemba and the State Premier has just been forced out of power but nothing ever changes. He's been replaced by yet another socialist bottom feeder from the State Labor Party.

Meanwhile the so called moderate Muslim (surely an oxymoron if there ever was one) having been 'seen off' by the citizens of Camden (south of Sydney) when they tried to invade the district by bussing in 1400 Muslim school kids everyday and setting up a huge mosque in the centre of the town. Now the Muslims have quietly purchased the local Anglican church yard and are turning it into a huge Islamic burial plot. Again right in the middle of Camden. A historic colonial community with only 17 local Muslims out of a district population of 120,000.

They try any lever to 'jimmy' open a door and then they pour in and change the whole culture of a community. Every time you knock them back they immediately try another tack.

The only high point is that there are now thousands of Camden citizens on the alert and ready to repel these thugs, with their 'Hag in a Bag' women and packs of Lebanese rapists in cars stalking 'Skippies' (as they call White Aussie women.)

To actually achieve that one has to actually enter the field of view of yet other overlapping CCTV cameras and one gets identified. They have retinal scans, face matching IT software and aren't adverse in using it. The cameras if disabled get replaced almost immediately so that there is no blind spots from which to enlarge the destruction of further CCTV cameras.

They've thought this through quite well. It's harder than it looks. Before you suggest wearing a hoodie and face mask ... you get busted for even thinking of wearing these in public. I can't recall the exact text but I think there's something in the quran or hadiths saying something to the effect of "Where there are ten of you, you shall overcome a hundred," and "Where there are a hundred of you, you shall defeat a thousand." If you take that literally, it's when Muslims reach 9.11% of the population when things start getting "interesting."

Reporter: Sheik Omar Bakri, whose return to British soil has been denied, addressed the participants by phone from Lebanon.

Omar Bakri's daughter is a pole dancer.

Yeah - I've been trying to float this on LGF for a few days, but I guess it's not political enough.

To me it's the funniest story of the year. Glorious.

249 uptight  Sun, Sep 28, 2008 7:07:38pm

Okay - I'm pretty much sure this is an LGF exclusive, but here - hot off the press is Omar Bakri Mohammed's ultra-lame blanket denial of the revelation that his daughter is a topless pole dancer and that he paid for her boob job.

Desperate bullshit of course - just a look at the girl in question shows a strong family resemblance (despite the bleach blonde hair, tattoos and big boobs). He also confirms (in the style of a denial) the existence of a daughter named Youssra (which, the Suns alleges, was the original name of Yasmin the stripper)

He ends up describing the story as an attack on Islam. Well if his hundred or so followers swallow it, then that's all that matters.

And this girl (if she does exist) has nothing to do with my family regardless. And indeed I never did and never will have any interview with those pornographic newspapers like the Sun or its associates, who continue to publish lies and fabricate stories and interviews against those Islamic activists and Mujahideen.
sss
The Sun newspaper is aware that in this day and age, it is quite possible to fabricate any accusation and attribute it to any Muslim activist without him having the ability to defend himself or his honour. This is even more so particularly when they discover that the Muslim activist is holding firmly onto his Islamic principles, that he will never arbitrate to the man-made law or to any man-made court, whether British or otherwise for whatever reason, because it is known that to arbitrate to man-made law is an act of apostasy which takes one out of the fold of Islam.

The truth is that my family comprises of six children (three males and three daughters); Muhammad (30 years old, married with 2 children); Yussra (27 years old, married with 3 children); Abdul Rahman (21 years old, married); Rukan (18 years old, married with no children); Rayah tul Islam (13 years old) and Bilal (10 years old).

It is known amongst my family and my beloved ones and my students that my family is a very conservative family with an Islamic upbringing that abides by the Islamic commandments and that none of them are engaged in any prohibited professions (according to Islam) or even those occupations which could cast doubt.

Indeed this is nothing but an orchestrated campaign against Islam and Muslims with strategic aims and dimensions, fulfilled by smearing my reputation and the reputation of my children to dent the da'wah which I hold firmly onto, the way that many others have attempted to do before (until today) and the same way others have done to the Messengers and Prophets of Allah (SWT) and their families, the scholars, the Islamic activists and the Mujahideen.

The gov.............

There is no requirment to notify the government.

It was illegal to own bullion before the U.S. went off the gold standard. That was a long, long time ago, ca. 1965.

re: #218 Aussie Infidel

I'm afraid that Britain has had its chips!

Sad but true and the US is not that far behind.
Just don't let them put CCTV everywhere and you yanks might just put off the fateful day a little longer.

When are you guys going to get your guns back?

re: #245 Aussie Infidel

To actually achieve that one has to actually enter the field of view of yet other overlapping CCTV cameras and one gets identified. They have retinal scans, face matching IT software and aren't adverse in using it. The cameras if disabled get replaced almost immediately so that there is no blind spots from which to enlarge the destruction of further CCTV cameras.

They've thought this through quite well. It's harder than it looks. Before you suggest wearing a hoodie and face mask ... you get busted for even thinking of wearing these in public. Maybe one could pretend to be a 6'4' muslim woman in a sack! :). All MUslim dress codes are immediately OK from our PC betters in the Police!

And yet, the success rate in catching real criminals with CCTV footage is close to zero -- a statistic the British police were reluctant to acknowlege.

In other news, there was the recent passage of a right-to-self-defense law in Britain - should make it more difficult to arrest people for beating the crap out of criminals who try to mug them or burglarize their homes.

"Many events similar to September 11, July 7, and November 3"

Could this have been a Freudian slip warning of a terror attack before election day?

re: #53 buzzsawmonkey

That is the flip side of the belief that If We Only Get Osama Bin Laden, any and all terrorist threats--to the extent there are any--will suddenly disappear.

The only way anyone can hold this belief is by willfully blinding themselves to the behavior of the most Muslims over the past 1400 years.

There you go, fixed that for you.

It's just like the movie, Independence Day. When the president asks the aliens what they want us to do, they answer, "Die."

If western governments don't reexamine their views of islam and muslim countries, we will kill them by the thousands. That's the only way they will be forced to stop calling us barbaric primitives...

Do I have that right?
