Hey Charles, why is LGF bogging down so bad during the debates? The most I saw was 4500 online, and I know I've seen threads where more were on, but LGF held up better.

6 Sharmuta  Thu, Oct 2, 2008 9:36:38pm

That was beautiful.

It's not the total number online that's the problem, it's the total number trying to get online. It's tens of thousands of people trying to cram through a door that can only let in several thousand at a time.

The solution is a load balanced setup, but that solution costs a lot, and is not simple or quick to implement.

I'm considering it again.

Is the song title supposed to be a warning given our new-found enthusiasm for a certain V-P candidate?

I kinda think the debate was a Tie.But that means she won,,this was her first.Sahra did very well her first time out of the box.Proof she will get better.
Also,,Biden had to tell lies,,she had facts. But with MSM,his lies might out weigh her facts.

There are those who can leave love or take it
Love to them is just what they make it
I wish that I were the same
But love is my fav'rite game

I fall in love too easily
I fall in love too fast
I fall in love too terribly hard
For love to ever last

My heart should be well-schooled
'Cause I've been burned in the past
And still I fall in love too easily
I fall in love too fast

I love the classic guitar. . .

The Japanese failed to conquer Hawaii by military means during world war 2 so they plan to send us all into epileptic seizures with these cartoons. While we are all layng on the ground twitching they will march into Honolulu.

My pleasure. If you dig it, search Yoko Kanno. She wrote/composed some (or maybe all) of the music for Cowboy Bebop. Also related to Yoko Kanno, The Seatbelts.

Wonderful. I've always loved Ralph Towner's playing, ever since I first heard his truly stunning 12 string playing on Weather Report's 'I sing the Body Electric' way back in 1970.

38 jiminycricket  Fri, Oct 3, 2008 2:59:59am

Just listened to it again. Really impeccable performance. If music be the food of love, play on.
John McGlaughlin's acoustic work on an old album called 'My Goal's Beyond' is also worth checking out, especially 'Pork Pie Hat' and 'Follow Your Heart'

39 Who Watches the Watchmen?  Fri, Oct 3, 2008 4:27:49am

Thank you, Charles. Ralph Towner is one of my favorite guitarists.
