President George W. Bush nominated Henry M. Paulson, Jr. to be the 74th Secretary of the Treasury on June 19, 2006. The United States Senate unanimously confirmed Paulson to the position on June 28, 2006 and he was sworn into office on July 10, 2006 by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. As Treasury Secretary, Paulson is the President's leading policy advisor on a broad range of domestic and international economic issues.
OK it was two years.

Obama has no clue how the economy works. Computers did not come about by government fiat, but because customers appreciated the value of their adoption. If green projects won't stand on their own, government subsidies won't make them economical.

ENIAC, short for Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer, was the first general-purpose electronic computer. It was the first Turing-complete, digital computer capable of being reprogrammed to solve a full range of computing problems, although earlier machines had been built with some of these properties and it could not store a program. ENIAC was designed and built to calculate artillery firing tables for the U.S. Army's Ballistic Research Laboratory.

5,000,000 new green jobs. Check his smokes please.
"Create" public sector jobs, lose private sector jobs, which are the really productive ones, thus lose productivity. The Soviet Union had a ton of Public sector jobs.

I noticed that Obama is borrowing some talking points from the Conservative side. Never mentioned drilling during his early energy pitch. He then peppers them with his own obscured views.
Sure, he continually morphs that way.

There's still some time left, but I fear JM's not going to go for the jugular tonight. This was really his last chance to do so in front of a totally captive American public. Frankly, as a loyal supporter, I'm more than a little disappointed.

John, we have the "best" medicaid in Tennessee, It's called TennCare and we have been heavily damaged by it. We have people (and illegals) coming into Tennessee everyday that get their TennCare

That stage has been set over years and years of indoctrination, and so too much of the audience has no clue about the importance of liberty to life.

Making a claim on another person's time and effort is not a right, ergo health care is not a right.

Obama's "The tragedy of 9-11" is telling us that it is not likely to happen again, that it was more like an act of nature, that the War on Terror has little or nothing to do with preventing another 9-11, that the money can be better spent than on protecting us from terrorists.

Yours may be a tiny fund, but it will grow. Don't get disappointed, don't draw it out, and stay in the market.
We have lost over 35% of our 401K in the last week, but I will continue to work and to put money in the market even as it falls. Lots of bargains out there.

Obama says that IF we get Bin Laden in our sights and Pahkeesthan won't act for us, he will. How brave. Hell, if we had ever had the bearded one in our sight we would have already killed him.
BL is not stupid. He no longer talks via cell or satellite phone, uses computers or sends radios signals. That's why he has trouble getting another attack in place in the U.S. even though he is trying his best. His lines of communication are now back to the level the muslims had in 700 AD, a camel and a messenger who has to memorize it and hope he remembers.

The question is WHO PROVIDES/PAYS FOR that "right". Someone else must GIVE UP their rights to provide someone else their "right".
Compare Electricity Prices in your area. Texas Electricity is deregulated; you have the right to choose Texas Electric Rates from among many Texas Electric Companies.
