Is there anything Obama says that is true?

That ad was published in our local paper. Today a Vietnam vet's letter to the editor questioning the ad was published.

When a "nonpartisan" group issues a "report" and it favors a candidate it from henceforth inherently biased.

Happy news, everyone. I've just been shortlisted by the Obama campaign for their new position as Broke People Director.

Granted, it's not a paying gig. And I have about 300 million competitors. But my qualifications are impeccable.

This is like being supported by the IVAW.

I read about that at least 3 months ago. I thought it was common knowledge that he was a member and sought their official endorsement.

Its been around long before Larry Johnson stumbled on it yesterday.

I posted this yesterday while digging of stuff on Obama but I think it needs to be looked at because it shows he did next to nothing in office in Illinois.

I noticed that almost everything he had his name on, including that, was listed as Sess Sine Die (discharged without debate at end of session), meaning that either;

1. The Senate adjourned without even bringing it to the floor, or

2. He launched a flurry of last-minute-before-adjournment "bills" to give the impression that he actually did something to earn his salary.

Considering the number that had to do with housing, minority business loans, etc., (which read across to his antics with Ayers), my guess is that those were his major concerns, the rest being just fluff.

And apparently, nobody else in the Illinois State Senate was interested.

While I've never been in the miltary, I find it almost laughable that anyone in the armed forces could seriously throw their support behind Obama.

1. Obama's never been in the military.
2. Doesn't pal around with anyone who's ever been in the military
3. I'm not certain, but I'm sure his political record stinks in terms of supporting the military
4. He was against the surge and failed to give credit to the US military when they turned things around
6. What do Obama and Osama Bin Laden have in common? They both worked with people who bombed the pentagon (enough said)
7. He made 45 trips to Ohio, but only two to Iraq
8. His politcal party is infested with anti-war leftists who have spit on soldiers and try to block the entrance of military recruiting centers
9. Never took the time to visit wounded verterans, except when cameras were around
10. Hangs out with Hollywood types who only portray soldiers as either sadistic killers or bamboozled victims

I noticed that almost everything he had his name on, including that, was listed as Sess Sine Die (discharged without debate at end of session), meaning that either;

1. The Senate adjourned without even bringing it to the floor, or

2. He launched a flurry of last-minute-before-adjournment "bills" to give the impression that he actually did something to earn his salary.

Considering the number that had to do with housing, minority business loans, etc., (which read across to his antics with Ayers), my guess is that those were his major concerns, the rest being just fluff.

And apparently, nobody else in the Illinois State Senate was interested.

Sounds like you got out about the time I joined. I was RA from '79-91, and USAR since then. Been on active duty since March of 2004, training units going to Iraq.
