I'm sure the troops really enjoyed all the time they spent in Hazmat gear.

BarkaLounger quarterbacking that call from here, I can imagine the 'fallout' if the troops would have keeled over by the score for the not-looking routine.

re: #16 arethusa

She's my sorry-ass Senator. I can't believe she beat Jim Talent in 2006. When I went to bed Talent had a 150,000 vote lead and I thought no problem, he'll be re-elected easily. I woke up and saw McCaskill had won by 100K votes, because votes from St. Louis and Kansas City were slow to be counted. I blamed ACORN then, and I haven't changed my mind.

re: #16 arethusa

Claire McCaskill is possibly even more annoying than Nancy Pelosi. Thoughts?

Possibly. It depends on your geography. The whole country is subjected to repeated does of the Pelosi pill, which renders the verdict of maximum annoyance to be in her favor. I will admit that McCaskill can certainly compete in depth of obnoxiousness, if not in breadth.

I've been looking up all kinds of interesting stuff (O) that dropped off the radar, and seems to be going down the memory hole at this very moment.

Like this one where the One and Ayers are on a panel (crossing paths) for an event that Michelle organized regarding children that kill...

A lot of other ones on web.archive.org that used to be there and aren't anymore! Not much of an archive is it?

Another reason to add to the "Poll Hammer"

(At the bottom, No. 6)

Polls are BS because:

1. Polls are public; there are at least the pollster and the respondent & more may be listening in & influencing the respondent. The ballot is private.

2. Polls questions can be worded in tricky ways, the ballot is simple.

3. Polls can be used to manipulate & thus the motivation of the pollster may be suspect. The ballot has no similar motivation.

4. You can lie to a pollster, you cannot lie to the ballot.

5. Polls come to you, lazy or not; but you have to get up off your ass to go vote.

6. Only God knows the future.

We sure let Saddam know we were coming for months, man it does not take a genius to figure that he very probably sent the WMD out of the country.

Not only that, after we went into Iraq, Jordan foiled an attempted terror attack from Syria that the Jordanians claim would have killed 20,000.

One can draw some conclusions;

One might be that the "global test" takes way too long.

re: #43 Intrepid

T. Boone Pickens, in an interview with Glenn Beck a couple of months ago:

"The price of oil will steadily continue to rise, and by Christmas will hit $150 per barrel. We'll never see the days of $100 per barrel oil again."

Stick with the windmills, T.

Yeah, and we don't hear the libs in DC or Bill O'Reilly screaming about price-fixing or oil speculators anymore, do we?
Let market forces work. Just leave it be, and it'll correct itself, which is what should have been done with the subprime mess, but notice it's always the ones who CAUSED the problem who tell us not to worry, they'll fix it!
Boortz said it best- That's like calling the arsonist to put the fire he set.

You guys will NOT believe what I just heard from my parents regarding my little brother, who's ten years old.

So he has this friend named Isaac, who's also ten. Isaac comes over to play, and as soon as he comes in, he notices my dad watching Fox News. He proclaims, "Oh, I have to say I'm disappointed, why are you all watching this Nazi channel?"

My Dad, obviously shocked, goes "What?" Mind you, we're Armenian, so my Dad's English isn't 100% perfect. My Dad was like, "Who brainwashed you with that trash, your parents? Or the TV?" The kid had no response.

I told my Dad I never want to see that kid in my house again, or around my little brother.

This, coupled with the "Bush's Last Day" widget that I found on my same little brother's Mac really piss me off. We were going to eat one night and I noticed that he had a "Bush's Last Day" countdown on his computer. I ask him, "Uh, what the hell is this?" and said that I never want to see that on his computer again, and if I did see it one more time, that the whole computer is going to trash. I told him to remove it IMMEDIATELY.

I asked him where he got it from and he said from his cousin, who is thirteen. This cousin's family is so entrenched in the posh LA, Probama bullshit, which is unbelievable considering my Uncle is a multi-millionaire "disenfranchised" Republican.

I swear, I don't even know what to say anymore.

You are outnumbered.

WE have 2 cats & 4 people in the family & the orange cat thinks he's human. His sister is just a weird cat though.

Obama today at a rally in Indiana was talking about Evan Bayh, and he said something to the effect of "We know an ACORN doesn't fall far from the tree, because Senator Bayh's father, Birch Bayh, served your state well...."

Isn't that supposed to be "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree"?

He's got ACORN on the mind....heh.

Nervous, is he?

LOL, hafta find video of that!

My nephew stayed in one of the palaces, I have a pic of him in a fedora and shoulder holster that belonged to Sadaam.
He found CASES of crystol champagne
I believe they were a grand a bottle

Those Hussein men sure knew how to live it up.
Cristal is ghastly expensive champagne. Not even sure it's worth it and not sure I want to buy any to know for sure.

Perhaps you are part cat.

Ojoe -

In my life I have "kept" cats. As they are NOT dumb animals, seems they have an instinct to find comfort - HOW and When and Where they can.
