Make it mellow, now.

That video almost looks like two different bands with one superimposed on the other.

And Letterman is a disgrace. He went from a cool, USA-loving midwesterner in the 1980's to jerk of a northeastern libtard in the 2000's. He really changed. I can't watch his show anymore unless Chris Elliot is on.

Hello fellow Lizardfolk. I just posted about this on the last thread, which now seems to be dead. Today, individuals unknown vandalized both the McCain sign in my front yard and my house in an act that the investigating policeman described as "terrorism."

I have written a full report on this incident on my weblog, titled "There Is an Infection Loose in America," including photographs of the damage. All Lizards are invited to read it here:

re: #56 looking closely

It's unfortunate that the videos on the stealing of Hillary's votes are so long. They are well made, but few people will have the patience to watch more than the first two.

However, we need to get the word out about how this election is being stolen. I believe that the United States is in great danger now. Once we lose our freedom, it will be hard to get it back.

A lot of LGFers mention that they're glad that they have firearms. However, for those of us who live in cities such as Chicago, this is not a realistic option (unless things get really bad, but I don't think that will happen).

I was talking with my friend today about how we Chicagoans actually live in a banana republic. We have no choice regarding our city government. Surprisingly, I've always been a fan of Mayor Daley because he's really beautified our city, even on some of the "mean streets," like Ashland Avenue, which used to be quite ugly. Chicago lost its manufacturing base a few decades ago, but Daley brought it back from decrepitude, (except for the schools, which are worse than ever).

I'm surprised that Mayor Daley would support a socialist thug like Obama to take over our country. Daley always seemed like a decent leader, even though we know that Chicago runs on corrupt contracts. Daley also seems to live a fairly restrained life--he doesn't seem to be a big spender on fancy things. He seems to be very "Chicago" in his lifestyle.

But what do I know? Maybe he's got billions stashed in a Swiss bank like Idi Amin and Robert Mugabe.

Something is terribly wrong. Maybe Daley has a brain tumor.

72 Ugh!  Sun, Oct 12, 2008 10:42:37pm

Major 7th, 9th, Sharp 11th, and 13th, is more like it. Now that's hip!

73 victor_yugo  Sun, Oct 12, 2008 10:54:03pm

Anything outside the tonic, dominant (or dominant-7th) and subdominant, I call "heavy chords." That includes things like 6th (augmented), major-7th, 9th, diminished, and their ilk. "The blues" in its original form was all "heavy chords."

To me, Ray Charles is the undisputed master of "heavy chords," with Billy Joel a close second.

The white guys sure look like a bunch of dorks in those shirts. Is that Glenn Campbell?

I bet the guitar guys hated that song. Swaying back and forth, two chords endlessly repeated. And I thought Proud Mary was boring. I sure am glad we never covered that tune!
