Stick to your guns, Mandy. If I recall, it was a mineral shipment from China to the Netherlands -- an Iranian ship, but that means little in many cases. And mineral shipments are often dangerous -- doesn't mean they're dirty bombs.

Somebody could prove all that wrong with a rock-solid bit of evidence about dirty bombiness, but I'll wait with you.

94 Palandine  10/12/08 8:14:07 pm reply quote 2

Palandine works on getting her CCW permit.

Thi will entail getting a new id card, and the Show-Me State has put in place the Real ID act. This means, even though I've had a valid MO drivers license for more than 20 years, I'll have to produce:

*A birth certificate or passport
*A SS card
*My most recent utility payment

Here's where it gets fun. My SS card disintegrated on me some time back. To get a replacement, I'll have to show them a birth certificate or passport, and a driver's license.

I appreciate Missouri's efforts on behalf of real identity, but it ticks me off that a law-abiding citizen has to jump through such crazy hoops because of illegal immigrants and identity theft.

And, FWIW, I've never been asked for ID when I go to vote. Strange...

re: #73 Ozark Mountain Daredevil

I just got an email from a high school friend who played for the Phillies in the 80's. Guess who he's rooting for?

Have him watch the National Black Republican Association ads against Obama

Drudge developing ......... good news for McCain in upcoming polls ...... for what their worth .....

Does Drudge have good sources within the poll organizations? (The numbers are perfectly believable, and part of the McCain trend up, I just want to know if they're reliable sources.) Anyone know?

Huh? You've been here for a long time.

A joke. Wrath_of_G_d used to do it all the time.

Haven't seen Wrath in a while. Did he get the stick?

Green light, Israel. Take it to Iran!

I have to believe, if this report is even close to correct, that things will happen before the new POTUS is sworn in...just guessing here

Ummm, I have now transgressed beyond the mere 'Democrat anger'

I have a McCain/Palin sign in my yard.

Somehow I believe that my dad, z'l, a life long Democrat himself, would be proud of me!

re: #98 Opilio

Well, since you've ben there, it seems only right that you're finally here. Unless you're bent here, in which case, nevermind.

In either case, welcome.

If you've "been there," have you also "done that"?

Welcome!

There are lots of nasty materials out there. Plain old pesticide can ruin your mojo if you hop in a container full of it.

Did you read the original story?
