I just realized how Obama is doing so well in these debates with out a teleprompter. He's simply listening to McCain's answer, writing it down, and paraphrasing it back. If you listen to questions Obama has to answer first he kind of wanders aimlessly. The questions Obama gets to answer second, he is quite eloquent, only problem is Obama says the exact same thing McCain has just said.

NO. If it wasn't taught when I went, it certainly isn't now. re: #230 MandyManners

Isn't that normal? Isn't it just a factor of his heritage?

Could be. That probably wasn't fair.

Although there's something passing strange about the fact that someone as busted up as McCain released every record, and Obama, who's supposedly the picture of health, just released a note from his doctor.

CNN viewers are not buying what Obama is saying.

That just means that CNN has to say that Obama won by a slimmer margin.

I was raised in the South, and have seen many variations on color when it comes to people. It's just the surface, folks.

THE CONTENT OF HIS CHARACTER!

Yah, I know. I was just joking. But Ricardo's lips always looked odd to me.

293 luxiegenie  Wed, Oct 15, 2008 7:10:21pm

This is where McCain should come after the snuffing out of babies that survive an attempted abortion. What would O do if one of his daughters were that child?

294 ironbill  Wed, Oct 15, 2008 7:10:24pm

Wait... I thought this was above your pay grade?

Obama just effed up MAJORLY. How can he say that he wants to use his IDEOLOGY to judge candidates for the highest court in the land rather than qualifications?

Senator Government, precious.

My husband is supposed to drink when McCain says 'My Friends' and he's sober - so I think McCain got the message. Last debate I was afraid he'd have alcohol poisoning.

Uh... duh... uh.... uhh...

304 conrad  Wed, Oct 15, 2008 7:11:52pm

Hey Barry; no litmus test? Ask your supporters if they agree with you. If any minority doesn't want to vote for you, they are considered traitors by your supporters. If a radio talk show brings on a speaker you do not agree with, your campaign demands the shows removal. If a pundit speaks against you, your campaign went to the justice department fer cryin' out loud. You are a walking litmus test.

305 ClosetConservative  Wed, Oct 15, 2008 7:12:01pm

Wait a minute- did Obama just say that he wants the Senate to have a hand in what goes on in a sitting court? That's pathetic!

Really?
Really?
Really?

What happened to the three branches of government?

Wouldn't it be ironic if Joe the plumber saved McCain's campaign?
I think if I were him, I'd send him a box of cigars.

Plus some suspenders: You all know how bad Plumber's crack can get. A major malady of the trade.

Choice and competition, charter schools! Excellent

329 Syrah  Wed, Oct 15, 2008 7:20:37pm

If "more money" was the solution, we would already have the best educated kids on the planet.

I can tell you that I have had to turn down applicants for a job because they could not read and they could not spell. It is a very simple and minimal test, but about half of the applicants that come through our doors fail that test.

It is heartbreaking.

How could John miss this?

Senator Obama has a history of education reform:
Send them radical agitators recommended by a washed up terorist bomber who believes they need to teach children to oppose their racist oppresive government.

332 SFGoth  Wed, Oct 15, 2008 7:30:37pm

Well he did a lot better, but he interrupted too much. How do you deal with a guy who flat out lies?

333 eaglewingz08  Wed, Oct 15, 2008 7:32:34pm
