Actually, 0bama's got a great plan for getting eveyrone to college. The government simply guarantees college loans for everyone, even if they're not traditionally considered creditworthy. We could set up a quasi-government organization called the Federal College/University Program, or FC/UP.

On energy consumption, on health care, on school vouchers, and several other things, I had the facts on my fingertips AND the statements that could have made The One look like a complete fool.
McCain hit very few of them, and the ones he did hit, he articulated very poorly. This is Pathetic. As Hell.
Maybe McCain ends up "winning" this debate, maybe not, but at this point, I'm of the opinion that if we're going to lose to this Marxist amateur, then I'm just going to pin what little hope I have on the combined effects of buyer's remorse, 2010 midterm backlash, and the chance that 4 years of Oabamamania results in clearing out all the RINO deadwood in the Republican party, after which perhaps we can start over and get something done.

I'm too sick of Obama lies to watch the debate but the comments here are quite entertaining.
Note on schools, since schools were invented people have said they are going to hell, and they were better in my day. Except for some inner city schools most schools in the US are doing OK. Give the schools the right to get rid of bad students and bad teachers and 95% of the issues would be gone.

Have we not all worked for some idiot like Barry at sometime in our lives? You do the work; he takes the credit. PLUS, he thinks it was his freaking idea in the first place. His 'stinkin' thinkin'' knows no bounds (Alcoholics Anon. phrase) I bet if you got Michelle in a talkative mood, she'd tell you that Barry is a figment of his own imagination. Not that I'm letting Michelle off the hook for buying into the package and exploiting all the benefits of it. Put him in the ring with Putin NOW and see what a professional piranha looks like versus an empty suit.

So, McCain never said the "S" (socialism) word?
Nah, he never used the word. He only referred to the "spreading the wealth" phrase that Obama said to Joe the Plumber (the new symbol of America). Spreading the wealth is a euphemism for redistribution of wealth= Socialism.
Do "undecideds" understand this? NO.

Guys,
I'll tell you first hand as someone that is struggling with student loans (law school) and from friends that went to non-state colleges, a $4000 credit is not going to mean jack squat to someone with 6 figures of student loan debt, which, thanks to the dems is not dischargable in bankruptcy. If you take grads and make them do a few years in the peace corp, etc., all you are doing to them is forcing them to forgo any earnings potential. I'm not saying peace corps is bad or anything like that, I admire what they try and do in the world to make it a better place, but tuitions at colleges, universities, grad programs and law schools have outpaced inflation by an enormous margin and salaries for grads are decreasing. The fact that the feds guarantee student loans is part of the problem. Its free money for the schools. That needs to stop. I don't think Obama's plan addresses this.
I do think something needs to be done though about health insurance companies rejecting people with pre-existing conditions. There needs to be some relief for people in those situations where they can't get insurance. I've been in that situation as well and may be there again in the future and all that does is drive more people to financial ruin. I'm not saying I support Obama, but whoever is the next president needs to address this.
