By coincidence, I drove across TN yesterday with my McCain/Palin sticker displayed prominently in the back window. In Chattanooga, two women passed me and the passenger gave me the finger--maybe she had me confused with her ex-husband or something. Though, the Obama sticker on the back of their car makes me wonder...
In other news, in last week's trip from Atlanta-Cape Girardeau-Atlanta I saw only 4 or 5 Obama signs (including a billboard in near Manchester, TN). But, I saw dozens--a hundred or more?--McCain/Palin signs and at least two billboards (in Southeast MO).
Those fly-over states: they're full of bitter clingers...

Let's see. Obama said that his supporters should "get in their face." What's the next step, bash them in the face with a campaign poster? Memory a bit bad... wondering... where did I see that type of behavior before? Hmmmm... I don't know... some vague memory of numbers... 1933... I can't remember, it's not important.

Bastards took down my McCain Palin sign from my front yard last night.
Thursday at Republican HQ in Kennett, MO, they told me that at least 20 signs had been stolen and replaced by Obama signs! How dumb is that? It guarantees those signs will go to the dumpster.
Meanwhile, 400+ McCain/Palin signs had been distributed and there was a waiting list for more.
Oh, and the house next door to the Republican HQ had a huge (unmolested) Obama sign.

I read on FreeRepublic about the East Valley (Mesa, AZ) Tribune jumping on the smash-the-plumber bandwagon. Here's what I wrote to the newspaper:
re: Joe the Plumber has an unpaid ticket and a suspended AZ driver license!
I was blown away by Daniel Newhauser's hard hitting Pulitzer-level article about Joe the Plumber's suspended driver license. It must have taken months of digging, hard questions, long hours, thousands of phone calls, and dogged investigation of this hardened criminal. But with a little luck and some timely tips from Daily Kos and Democratic Underground, Mr. Newhauser has successfully exposed a dangerous man.
Congratulations! We are all a little safer tonight because of your journalistic integrity and fearlessness. You weren't intimidated by Joe, and you got him by the jugular!
Oh wait. Not really. You are all jackals.
Look up Alfred Dreyfus. J'accuse, Tribune. J'accuse!

J'accuse!
The death of the "objective" media has been long in coming and painful to watch.

So the free expression of ideas has been replaced by what is gang violence. So can we expect the natural evolution towards baseball bats, chains, 2x4s, knives, pipes, etc. even after the O'machine's defeat after its failure to steal the election or the crushing of dissent in case of victory. I can understand why some would think usurpation of the natural rights for self defense would be necessary, can't have people defending their persons when there's a election to be won. But I digress.
So the people that brought us "Dissent is Patriotic" now bring us "It's OK to go ballistic in the faces of our opponents."

In Boulder, CO a car with a McCain/Palin bumper sticker is not safe. You will for sure get an extra hard door ding, a key or two, or even a moonbat hanging around for when you come out of the store.
Why are we even discussing this matter anyway. Obama is not a legally viable candidate. I have studied the so-called birth certificate that was produced and it is as fake as a $3 bill. The background is wrong, the text is locked incorrectly, the special border isn't even close, and most importantly, the file number that gives the document authenticity is blacked out. Obama has to date produced no legal documents to prove he is a "naturally born citizen", nor has he produced documents that he is a legal citizen of the US.
In the Berg vs. Obama case, numerous issues arise that indicate that Obama is not only NOT American born (one of the three criteria for being POTUS) but it is highly likely that he is an illegal alien and a citizen of Indonesia. At the time he was admittted to grade school in Indonesia, he had to be an Indonesian citizen. The formal documents list him as an Indonesian citizen. There is no record of his mother ever registering him as an American citizen, nor has Obama provided anything to prove otherwise.
All of the evidence points to the fact that he was born in Kenya to a Kenyan father and an American mother. I every society in the planet, Obama would be considered of Kenyan decent.
What the hell is going on here?
McCain is fixing to lose to a guy with almost no experience, is tied to some of the most shady characters in political history, was gleefully voted the most liberal senator by some liberal website, lies and fabricates as if the truth just doesn't matter, and finally, is most likely not even close to qualifying for the office of President, not to mention being a Senator.
As I said before.....What the hell is going on here?
The RNC should be shouting this from the mountain top. Our constitution is being raped right before our eyes and we are standing by and watching it happen.

Obama gets asked a question.
Obama answers and steps in a moist cowpie.
The questioner has a suspended DL.
Therefore the question was illegitimate, and the answer stricken from the record.

Just make sure you use an anonymizer or anonymous server to send them with! This is how Obama's camp has managed to go undetected in investigative media searches on the net!
I have never been more concerned in today's internet accessibility and means to retaliate by means of spybots and mama googles ability to parse out IP addresses of those who they statistically can filter out "groups" by key words or phrases or search engines used! That information and that like our voter affiliations are available for a fee.

AN ODE ON DELUSION (2)
When the One declared war on the capitalists,
I sent money to ACORN & MoveOn.org – it’s not fraudulent if we win;
War is Peace.
When the One called on us to shout down his critics,
I followed his commands blindly attacking any who questioned the Messiah;
Freedom is Slavery.
When the One promised to meet with America’s enemies (without preconditions),
I was proud of my country for the first time in my life;
Ignorance is Strength.
When the One came for me,
it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished;
I loved Big Brother.
WAR IS PEACE
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH

Videotape them. Then have them arrested and charged with criminal trespassing/vandalism/other appropriate charges as applicable...
It's probably a good idea to have your best weapon handy in case they decide to try and steal your camera as well. Nothing like the look on their faces when they're the starts in "thugs caught in act on camera move to threaten/assault and find themselves at gunpoint"...
Overall I'd rather deal with the screaming, media tantrums and (possibly) light rioting following an O' loss than deal with these assholes thinking they can run unchecked above the law for the next four years...

The woman assaulted was a friend of mine.
You want to talk about staggering blind hypocrisy?
Someone forwarded THIS to me today:
This is Davin Hutchins, managing producer with American News Project. According to our records, you are registered as a freelancer at [Link: www.americannewsproject.com...] (our new URL.)ANP is working on a series between now and Nov. 4 analyzing the phenomenon of rage among McCain-Palin supporters which has surfaced in the past few weeks. Our first piece in the series will debut next week as we look at the rising tension at rallies we’ve attended, the effect of negative ads on the GOP base and John McCain’s and the RNC’s responsibility in fanning the flames.
For the other stories in this series, we need your help. Between now and Nov. 4, we want to document this rising rage nationwide at GOP rallies or anywhere else. If you have any evidence of rage, bigotry or deliberate misinformation among McCain supporters, whether at an official rally or elsewhere (local GOP groups, etc.), we need your help to video these events.
ANP producers have witnessed intimidation of Obama supporters, hate speech, racial epithets at these rallies. Our own reporters have been restricted by Republican operatives from speaking to supporters of John McCain or Sarah Palin.
Here’s what we’re looking for. Please look at this revealing report shot by Al Jazeera English:
We like this report for two reasons:
1) The reporter asks journalistic questions but also insistently probes people aboutthe motivations behind their opinions but does so without the intent to provoke.
2) The approach is unbiased.
Many observers, including ANP, are worried that this agitation and rage may lead to more pointed hate speech and perhaps even incitment to violence in the campaign’s last three weeks. And we would like you to help us document it.
If there is a McCain-Palin rally in your immediate area (go to [Link: www.johnmccain.com...] to find out), we’d like to hear about it. You should edit the best rushes (about five minutes worth) and e-mail it to xxx@xxx.com using software at [Link: www.pando.com...] or [Link: www.yousendit.com....] Make sure “McCain Palin Rage” is in the subject line.
If we use your footage in our series, whether it is 5 seconds or 5 minutes, we will pay a fee of $500 and give you producers credit.
Many thanks!
Davin Hutchins
Managing Producer, ANP

Incidents like this and some of the craziness from the last election are exactly why I don't wear or say anything that makes my political leanings obvious out here in Northern California. I know that I can ignore or shrug off all the Obama placards, stickers, decals, and signs that are pretty much everywhere without going off the reservation, but I don't trust the locals to do the same if I were to express my opinions/feelings. Not only that, I was brought up to feel that it was rude/distasteful to loudly broadcast personal political opinions in front of strangers. But I can't go anywhere in public without hearing all sorts of bloviating/windbaggery. It tends to give me a bunker mentality during election cycles. I just get in my car and head to Sonic for tater tots when the cabin fever starts kicking in.

So why not lets just calm down before demonizing the other HALF of the country that supports a Democrat .
