Sarah Palin on SNL

Humor | Sun, Oct 19, 2008 at 10:02:13 am PDT

I confess, I’m a little puzzled at the importance Saturday Night Live is being afforded in this election. SNL hasn’t been relevant, inspired, or even funny for at least ten years, and last night’s skits featuring Sarah Palin were just more of the same tired, over-long schtick they’ve been recycling forever, a comedy show on autopilot. They bash McCain for being old, but it’s SNL that’s the real dinosaur.

Sarah did fine, but the material stank.

UPDATE at 10/19/08 10:29:13 am:

The Associated Press continues to show that they’ve abandoned basic journalistic ethics, with a headline that’s simply mean-spirited: Palin smiles as ‘SNL’ mocks her anew.
