Tonight we watched the new DVD release of "The Outlaw Jose Wales", 1976.
Besides being a superlative story, the sound score of the movie is excellent.
There were some cello parts in there that gave me chicken skin.
They just don't make them like that anymore.

Morons make up a certain percentage of the population, the actual amount is in dispute at the moment. But, whatever the percentage, always remember,
they deserve representation as well, and, by all evidence, they get it, in spades.

I spent part of the day doing a tour of Craftsman-style houses in Pasadena. While driving from house to house I noticed Obama signs outnumbered McCain signs about four to one, perhaps twenty Obama signs to five for McCain (actually, I expected a greater ratio).
One thing, however, became readily apparent as the day went on. I noticed every house sporting a McCain sign also displayed the flag. So, I kept a mental log at each house with the candidate's signs. The final tally of flag-adorned houses:
Houses with McCain signs--Five
Houses with Obama signs---Obama; i.e., Zero.
Take it for what it's worth.

What I really don't understand is why his supporters don't care how much the guy lies. All the crap about Bush lied people died - and this guy is caught lying all the time. Not only lies, but certainly abuses his power constantly. So many red flags and these morons find so many excuses to dismiss it all, sort of like being in a highly dysfunctional relationship... but I love him... he lies, he has things taken off of You Tube, he has Jerome Corsi deported on his fact finding mission, what else? The list is so long.
Would anyone here hire someone like this? He has so much to hide as well which they don't care about either. Obviously if all this were going on with McCain, he would have been toast long ago. Would anyone date a guy like this? (other than michelle)

I just got back from a weekend in Vermont & New Hampshire. Lovely country but man it is liberal land. Obama signs everywhere. I felt like an endangered species. And under the Dem Administration and Dem version of the ESA, I would not be protected.
So, anyway, if you read the MSM and you live in states like Vermont. N.H. or in my state, N.J. , you may think this is over. However, I am not willing to buy the hype. I know Brokaw would like to interview BHO's cabinet members and Matthews is waiting for McCain to come on his show to concede to save us all the trouble, but I am of the belief that we may have a Truman defeats Dewey headline awaiting us. Take note, Nazism = National Socialism. It had a racist bent to go with it, race based collectivism.
Now, who in this election is promoting socialism? And who in this election was a member of a racist church for some twenty years and has racist friends? From what I've seen of Obama, via postmodernism, he is race obsessed.
If anyone can be accused of being a Nazi, it's clearly Obama. That he is a Nazi, I don't know, but he has some of the essential elements.

So 65% of democrats disapprove of Joe, and dems are about 45-50% of the population. So that means only 25-30% of the population doesn't like Joe. The other 70-75% do.

Lots of McCain signs in safe NJ neighborhoods, by safe I mean like minded places where you don't expect vandals. In neighborhoods with high traffic less signs. When I see empty yards that are normally peppered with Dem signs, I take encouragement that perhaps a PUMA lives there!

For a year I received Rolling Stone magazine. Never ordered it, never paid for it, it just arrived. When Giuliani was still in the running, Matt Taibi wrote an article with the assertion that Giuliani was worse than Hitler.
Once you start with the assertion that a linguine-spined moderate like Bush is Hitler, you really have no where to go. McCain will win, and he's even more moderate than Bush (we will have to hold his feet to the fire) and was the media's bestest buddy for 7 years, yet he too will be worse than Hitler. It'd be laughable if people didn't actually believe it.

...A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like so many others her age, she considered herself to be a very liberal Democrat, and among other liberal ideals, was very much in favor of higher taxes to support more government programs, in other words redistribution of wealth. She was deeply ashamed that her father was a rather staunch Republican, a feeling she openly expressed.
Based on the lectures that she had participated in and the occasional chat with a professor, she felt that her father had for years harbored an evil, selfish desire to keep what he thought should be his. One day she was challenging her father on his opposition to higher taxes on the rich and the need for more government programs. The self-professed objectivity proclaimed by her professors had to be the truth and she indicated so to her father.
He responded by asking how she was doing in school. Taken aback, she answered rather haughtily that she had a 4.0 GPA, and let him know that it was tough to maintain, insisting that she was taking a very difficult course load and was constantly studying, which left her no time to go out and party like other people she knew. She didn't even have time for a boyfriend, and didn't really have many college friends because she spent all her time studying.
Her father listened and then asked, 'How is your friend Audrey doing?' She replied, 'Audrey is barely getting by. All she takes are easy classes, she never studies, and she barely has a 2.0 GPA. She is so popular on Campus; college for her is a blast. She's always invited to all the parties and lots of times she doesn't even show up for classes because she's too hung over.'
Her wise father asked his daughter, 'Why don't you go to the Dean's Office and ask him to deduct 1.0 off your GPA and give it to your friend who only has a 2.0. That way you will both have a 3.0 GPA and certainly that would be a fair and equal distribution of GPA.' The daughter, visibly shocked by her father's suggestion, angrily fired back,
'That's a crazy idea, and how would that be fair! I've worked really hard for my grades! I've invested a lot of time, and a lot of hard work! Audrey has done next to nothing toward her degree. She played while I worked my tail off!' The father slowly smiled, winked and said gently, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.'

I am not buying any of the polls. I have seen hardly any Obama signs in Libby Land So Cal. There were 10x as many Kerry/Edwards stickers in 2004.
In fact, even today I still see more Kerry/Edwards stickers on cars than Obama stickers, even in the parking lot of WHOLE FOODS.

I don't know about dating him, my wife might get jealous.
In addition to being vacuous and prone to exaggeration and outright deceit, Obama is also ambitious. So great is his desire for this job and all the power, fame and fortune it entails, that he is will apparently say whatever is necessary to whom ever it is necessary to say it to.
Add that to the fact that he has completely altered the way Presidents in the USA get elected now with his fundraising strategy. From this point on, BIG money will be needed to win the Presidential election. By the time this race is over, he will have out spent what Kerry and Bush spent in 2004 combined. Where some of this money is coming from is anyone's guess. Some or maybe even most are small time donors, and there is nothing wrong with that. It is the sneaky and shady contributors Obama is getting money from that bothers me. Anyone who gives a lot of money is expecting more than the Chris Matthews type sensation up one's leg...they want influence. Question is WHO wants that influence?
And, add the fact that his associations with ACORN and their ilk make this election the most corrupt of modern times. How many dead, illegal, non-residence, phony, fake and double/triple voters will cast a vote for Obama? His ground troops have one goal on their minds and it does not matter how or by what means, just as long as their "Great Leader" gets in.
And, finally, add that to his willingness to make nice with a rather large assortment of radical and unsavory associations when it suits him politically.
He is a train wreck waiting to happen. Unfortunately, we are all on board with him.....

I always wonder why Ayers' piece was published on September 11th. Most say bad luck but given his associations with Khalidi, et al are we really sure he did not expect the world to tremble helplessly and side with him and his ilk? Even if he had a week in mind, why that week?

I spent part of the day doing a tour of Craftsman-style houses in Pasadena. While driving from house to house I noticed Obama signs outnumbered McCain signs about four to one, perhaps twenty Obama signs to five for McCain (actually, I expected a greater ratio).
One thing, however, became readily apparent as the day went on. I noticed every house sporting a McCain sign also displayed the flag. So, I kept a mental log at each house with the candidate's signs. The final tally of flag-adorned houses:
Houses with McCain signs--Five
Houses with Obama signs---Obama; i.e., Zero.Take it for what it's worth.
The flag is nationalistic nonsense to Obama supporters, at least until the day they need to hide behind it.

So can I ask you guys to put away the conservative badges for a minute and try to be as honest and impartial as possible..
Which red states are genuinely at risk of being lost?
Which blue states does McCain/Palin have a genuine chance of winning?
Any reasons for the above would be great too.

It is difficult to answer because the polls are driven by idealogue pollsters to alter the ultimate poll - election day. Hard to say if Florida and Ohio are in BHO's camp or Colorodo. You cannot trust the polls because the are driven by agenda. Gore and Kerry were wrong. So, we have to assume BHO is wrong too. But having said that, McCain needs Ohio and Florida and Colorodo or some other surprise state like Minnesota

Here's my submission to my local FOX affiliate;
---
I can honestly say I've never been truly offended by anything I've seen on a sitcom, but tonight's Family Guy episode broke that trend.
[Link: newsbusters.org...]
In this episode, Stewie, dressed up as a Nazi, has a McCain/Palin button on the uniform.
How offensive is this? Well, consider the fact that millions of people are going to see this episode and have the disgusting idea perpetuated in their minds that John McCain, Sarah Palin, Republicans, Conservatives, etc are Nazis. That is not fair, and is absolutely ridiculous, especially considering that John McCain spent 5 years of his life being tortured for Seth McFarlane's right to make such distasteful jokes and insinuations.
I didn't know who to contact, so I contacted my local FOX affiliate. I will never watch another episode of Family Guy (or American Dad, for that matter) again.
Thank you.

Virginia, Indiana, Colorado, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, Missouri and N. Dakota are in play for Obama.
McCain is really not looking good in any "Blue" states
He has to repeat Bush 2004 to win and if Obama takes more than a few of the ones list above, it's over. The popular vote does not matter this time around, because that will be close. If McCain does not get it going, it is looking grim.
Of course, it is hard to tell with the polls this time around. They are not accurately reflecting the actualities. I would guess there is a skew leaning towards the Democrats not only in the press, but the polls. McCain can always count on more voters than the pollsters are guessing. BUT, Obama is getting more voters out this time around too.....he is certainly more motivating that JFingKerry ever was
But, fear not, that is why they have the elections.....to see who wins, it is not over yet.

Obama has registered more voters it's true (especially if you include the ACORN voters) but most of them are very young, college age types and that particular political group has historically, at least, had the LOWEST turn out of voters in history.
As for ACORN, well, they gotta count on being able to find the homeless and the drug addicts to drag their asses to the polls!

they deserve representation as well, and, by all evidence, they get it, in spades.
Two factoids,
1. half the population is of below average intelligence.
2. One in five people have some sort of serious mental problem. Consider your four closest friends, If they are normal, guess who isn't? (Yes, I have four normal friends, but am searching for one very weird one just for statistical purposes.)

A) - who really came to know the true cost of defending this nation - has decided that he'd rather have as Commander-in-Chief B)- whose strongest base is composed of like-minded folks who considered A) - and others like him - to be murderous, genocidal, baby killin' mother rapers.
A) has chosen to support B) instead of supporting C) - who really paid a stiff price for defending this nation.
Bizzaro logic.
There was a time when I considered Colin Powell to be CIC material -- that was before he got all "inside the beltway"ish and thought it better to dialog with evil rather than confront it. And obviously considers honor and duty to be outmoded concepts.

Sorry, I meant Palin.
I think it explains why we are getting so many calls from the Obama campaign. Our family are all registered Republicans. He needs NM.
Plus, it's heavily Catholic and the Archbishops and Bishops are stepping up the pressure on their parishoners to vote for pro-life candidates.
My best friend lives in Hershey, PA and she told me that there was an insert in her Sunday RC church newletter outlining the positions of Senator Obama and Senator McCain. Also, Bishop Martino in the Diocese of Scranton wrote a serious letter to all the parishoners in Scranton reminding them of the Church's position on abortion. I believe this could have a huge effect on PA. Senator Obama's record on the Born Alive Act is not in his favor.

The Catholic Church is doing a full court press saying that by voting for a pro-abortion candidate, you are participating in abortion. It's killing them, because the Church is also pro-union, pro-illegal immigration, and anti-death penalty, but they're taking their stand against a man who has a 100% NARAL rating and voted not to provide medical care to babies who survived abortion. Not all Catholics will follow that teaching, but some will. It's one thing to be pro-choice--it's another to be pro-infanticide.

Obama has a very dishonest ad going on in North Carolina right now where he has women saying "I used to believe in John McCain but he's against equal pay for women," etc.
No mention of the fact that McCain is paying the women on his own staff more than the men are getting (or that the women on Obama's staff are getting something like $.84 to the dollar compared to men.)
Obama is such a liar.

The Catholic Church is doing a full court press saying that by voting for a pro-abortion candidate, you are participating in abortion.
Good!
How can any Catholic vote for a pro-abortion stance that includes killing babies who survive abortions? Obama's reasoning for wanting to have babies killed if they survive abortions is that it would go against the mother's intentions to save a baby's life if he or she survived the abortion.
So, the person wanting another person dead has to be given more consideration than the innocent person who is trying to stay alive?

Here is another conundrum for you:
The US Supreme Court says that it's unconstitutional for the State to execute a man for raping a child.
The US Supreme Court says the child has a Constitutional right to kill the child of the rapist, which happens to be her own child.
The US Supreme Court says that no adult, including the parents of the raped child, can interfere with (or even be notified of) the child's decision to kill the rapist's child.
Figure that one out.

One of the things I love about John McCain's treatment of Sarah Palin is that he isn't hesitant to put her front and center (whereas Obambi is so determined to hog the spotlight that even his Obambi/Biden bumper stickers have "Biden" written in letters almost too light to read.)
John McCain loves it when the crowds go wild for Sarah Palin (and they do!)

Obama said he thought it would be used to infringe on a woman's right to choose....except that the version of the law he voted on is the same one that the US Congress voted unanimously on, and I believe it had a clause saying it was not a judgment on Roe vs Wade.
Even if it was, why not vote to wrap the babies in a blanket, give them oxygen, and adopt them out, and then say "I'll fight like hell against this being used to infringe abortion"? It says a lot about the man that in the sea of things he voted "present" for or didn't vote for at all, he went on the record with this one.

I hope so, too. The diocese I am in (Virginia) is one of the most liberal in the country, but I must say that that they have been doing more to publicize the candidates views and to promote "voting for Life" than they have ever done before.
The Born-Alive-Baby Act is the main factor, but I have heard that the Vatican and bishops (especially 3rd world ones) are concerned that the US will go back to the Clinton years, when abortion was aggressively promoted worldwide w/ US tax dollars.

Added all up, it's devastating. Rev Wright alone is devastating, too.
What Obama is doing right now is a coup attempt (or a hostile takeover, since he's so well funded from outside the country.)
Rev Wright deserves to have his face and his voice all over American television for the things he said - and Obama deserves to have his 20 years with this man rubbed in his face.

I'd agree with the hand stamp. Early voting has become a necessity, though, because of heavy turn out in some areas, and on a work day. But I'd suggest early voting at county offices, with a hand stamp, a document that the voter signs that clearly states "I have voted already on this date and I will not attempt to vote again under penalty of law", AND a good size staff who will reconcile the voting record every hour. On the day of the election, the names of the early voters will be on an Early Voter Special List, which is checked with each voter coming to vote.
Absentee voting should be limited to those who can give a good enough reason. And the voter information must agree with their registration information 100%, or the ballot doesn't count.

Yippee kayay Mother F***er. I have not put up with all the bullpuckey of the last 20 months to turn tail and walk away. I give a real big damn about this country. If I didn't, I would have licked my wounds when they forced Hillary out and quit caring about any of it. You Pubs...you have no idea. Obama actually CLAIMED VICTORY when there were still 13 primaries to go. He did not have enough Super Delegates or regular Delegates. His merry band of Mujahideen at the DNC (Dean, Pelosi, Reid, Brazil) spred the tidings that Barack Obama had won. They said publically that Hillary Clinton had lost and she should just shut up and go home. She won 9 of those remaining primaries. They scammed the system, cheated at the polls, rigged the media and threatened all who stood in Obama's way and HE STILL LOST THE POPULAR VOTE.This was a constant barage to discourage CLinton voters and to keep them from showing up at the polls. Had the Convention been an honest one and contained an honest legitimate vote, Hillary would have taken it and Obama and the DNC knew it. This is not me pontificating. This is a fact. They threatened delegates and worse. They negotiated an abbreviated, illegitimate & illegal roll call vote. What you all saw on tv...that was Obama Masterpiece Theater. So smok 'em if you got 'em and no sniveling allowed. We have come to far too retreat.

Glad you found that link about Hugo's problems, Gmsc! He's sweating now, and it looks like it's only going to get worse for him.
Goldman expects crude to average USD 75 in the fourth quarter and USD 70 at the end of the year, but added: “Should the financial and economic crisis cut deeper into demand, the market could fall as low as USD 50 a barrel.”
And I find it especially humorous in light of what T. Boone Pickens predicted on Glenn Beck's show back in mid Summer - that by Christmas, oil would be at $150 per barrel.
Hah! Take that, T. Boone! Put THAT in your windmills and whirl it!

I haven't read it yet, but here's the latest.
I searched a bit and found this video, added Oct 02, 2008
Obama Supporting Islamic Terror Regime in Kenya
Text decription:
Barack Obama has a cousin in Kenya he almost never talks about, but whom everyone in Kenya knows. His name is Raila Odinga. Barack Obama has actively campaigned for Raila Odinga to become president of Kenya - even before Obama started his own run for the presidency of the USA. What everyone in Kenya knows, but almost no one in the USA knows, is that Odinga has made a pact with the Muslim leaders of Kenya, in order to gain their support. This pact (actually shown in the video), calls for the establishment of a "safe haven" for terrorists in Kenya, the imposition of Sharia (Islamic) law, and the outlawing of public Christianity in Kenya. Barack Obama has supported Odinga in spite of (or perhaps because of) this Islamic pact, and continues to support Odinga in his aims, even though Odinga lost the recent elections.

So can I ask you guys to put away the conservative badges for a minute and try to be as honest and impartial as possible..Which red states are genuinely at risk of being lost?
Which blue states does McCain/Palin have a genuine chance of winning?Any reasons for the above would be great too.
Purely non-data-based speculation:
Real Clear Politics' map shows Pennsylvania as solid Obama. I'm not so sure... He pissed off pretty much the entire state outside of the urban areas. If I was McCain I'd be working overtime to organize Chicago-style vote buses for all those older folks out in the sticks to get in there and punch their ticket for the guy who DOESN'T look down his nose at them.
A friend of mine in Florida said "no effing way" would Obama get Florida. The numbers look close on the map but he said it was all being mis-reported, that he had seen absolutely no signs of Obama support anywhere. I don't know how seriously to take this, since "Nobody I know voted for him" is a stupid thing to say.
I'm afraid Ohio will go Obama, not because of a real victory there, but because of vote fraud on a Pharaonic scale, which the media has decided to ignore. We're supposed to just shut up and tolerate it now. The Messiah has spoken: ACORN helps people, and "It's not true, John", that they are a danger to the electoral process. Apparently he has power right out of Genesis now, that he just says stuff, and it becomes real.
I can't, for the life of me, figure out why North Dakota is a toss-up on RCP's map. I guess one of the three people that lives there is an undecided Independent?

From the article that kuchuklambat posted, it appears that Iceland's banks hold a lot of deposits from other European countries, mostly because their rates were so attractive. And apparently those depositors are wanting to get some of that money out because of Iceland's financial picture.
They were supposedly going to use the Russia loan to reopen some of their branches in a few select cities, but I guess that's on hold. Their next stop is the IMF.

OT - Is it possible to be OT on an Overnight Thread (or is that what "OT" stands for in this case?)
Anyway...
I just wanted to share something. This week is the restarting of the Torah cycle. It's an extremely happy event! Simchat Torah is a holy day (observed without driving, etc.) and it's just an incredible day! It's Tuesday evening and Wednesday day.
Orthodox Jews sing and dance (mostly men sing and dance while carrying the Torah, although women dance together on the side) - and it rocks the house, literally! I've been to congregations where the building literally jumped while everyone was dancing and jumping and singing and tossing little kids up into the air (and catching them, of course.)
Little kids (and some slightly bigger kids) ride on their father's shoulders as the group dances around. It's a total blast!
There's so much singing and stomping around that a band isn't even needed (and it's not allowed on a holy day anyway) - but the celebration rocks on without one!
The Torah cycle means that the entire religious Jewish world reads the entire Torah (weekly portion by weekly portion) for the entire year and then starts over again so that we're all together in this everywhere.
It's a huge celebration for the new Torah cycle to start and it's really fun!
P.S. I was in a Diaspora synagogue a few years that had all the windows and lights on while everyone was dancing and singing on this evening. I think the cars driving by (non-Jews) wondered if the Orthodox Jews inside had gone crazy. :) The building was JUMPING.

They're not timid creatures, that's for sure. Flopping those wings and running at ya like you're the devil incarnate. Swans are nasty too, I've heard.
While geese can have a temper, swans will put them to shame, they are tough characters, very protective of their mates, young and territory.
I have done some Canada goose control work in public parks, school grounds and golf courses on both sides of the Bay with my dogs, using the dogs to shoo the geese off the grass (or as I would give my job description, Branta canadensis migration facilitator). I haven't had any trouble with the geese, they seem to get the message with my dogs, even though these aren't large dogs. The geese would be pretty blase about other dogs in the parks, but when I sent my dogs out, they would take to the air, usually landing in a nearby canal or pond. I didn't swim my dogs after them, though, as some goose-control people will do.
One day I sent my 20-lb. dog over a little rise after some geese, and when I caught up to her, I found her head to head with a big male swan at the water's edge. He was standing fully upright with wings spread, snaking at her with his head and slapping at her. I held my breath, not wanting to break her concentration, but also wanting to get her out of there. Right as I came up she had backed him completely into the water, but she was really glad to answer my call-off command. I told her that she didn't have any idea what she was getting into!

Man who infiltrated the Weather Underground tells of their plan to kill 25 million Americans.
I asked, "Well, what is going to happen to those people that we can't re‑educate, that are die-hard capitalists?" And the reply was that they'd have to be eliminated and when I pursued this further, they estimated that they'd have to eliminate 25 million people in these re‑education centers. And when I say eliminate, I mean kill 25 million people. I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of whom have graduate degrees from Columbia and other well-known educational centers and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people and they were dead serious.

Just when you thought you knew a lot about them. Wow.
I haven't read the links yet, but my first thought is: Obama is just hiding his relationship with Ayers right now; how do we know Ayers, or an affiliate of his, won't have influence or input in an Obama administration? How do we know that deep down, Obama doesn't think exactly like these people?
Really - how do we know that? Every friend of his that has been identified appears to be some kind of angry radical, but he radiates this, "I'm a reasonable guy, you don't have to fear me" thing...but why would someone we don't have to fear have so many communist, violent friends?

Yeah, I just read this from the links up top - I'm literally shaking.
Obama sprang from these guys later on (in the 21st Century.)
I thought "Kill your parents!" was bad, but the thought of these educated people sitting around trying to formulate plans to murder 25 million Americans is just beyond anything I'd ever imagined from the radical groups of the 60s.
This information has got to get into the public eye beyond LGF.

Obama's "0 to 6" program calls for indoctrinating children from birth.
This fits into the idea of re-educating the population (only it's better from their perspective because they get the population straight from the womb.)

I really don't understand the sloppy election rules in the US.
In Australia no voter registrations are accepted after about a month (4weeks) out from an election and pre-polling doesn't start until 10 days before the date. And voter identification checks are a lot stricter as well.
It boggles my mind that the current state of play is allowed to stay as it is.

In Australia elections are federally controlled - I suppose it's a relic of colonial times. (sarc) You don't want the states having too much power - after all they can't govern themselves properly. (/sarc) And again Australia has 6 states not 50. And when each state has elections they follow the same rules throughout the country.

I already voted (absentee) but it seems like nothing will stop the Obama juggernaut. I would say the polls were wrong, but instatrade has Obama 85/15, and they're talking real money.

I think you're about to be enlightened...
Morning all. Lovely cool a.m. here in the DC burbs.
Hopefully you're not referring to the election, if so there must be some other Jewish saying about being a defeatist. If not, please explain.
How cold is it?

re: #355 imploder
I guess it was only a matter or time before the hippies from the 60s exerted their influence at the national level. And Obama with Odinga, that guy's a tinpot dictator and there's video of Obama hanging with him like two short years ago, who watches the watchmen? WTF is going on? Who managed the national lobotomy?
I already voted (absentee) but it seems like nothing will stop the Obama juggernaut. I would say the polls were wrong, but instatrade has Obama 85/15, and they're talking real money.
With the amount of shieza that is already out there about Obama, how is he going to be an effective president? Ugggghhhh. What, two three more weeks of this torture?
As far as I can tell, it is illegal and very difficult for US citizens to place bets on intrade. If you have anything definitive that says it is legal, please pass it on, because I'll take the bet.
The article below states that prediction markets have been accurate in the past but I'm guessing their basing that statement on the last position of the market, and markets can move very rapidly. They have also been wrong.
The American Conservative: Smart Money
Last summer there seemed to be no chance that John McCain would be the nominee. His amnesty bid backfired, his poll numbers in Iowa plummeted, and he couldn’t raise any money. His price on Intrade dipped below 5 cents a share.
I thought the article was worthwhile, recommended.

If this comes down close there is no way the dems are going to strip this victory from us with all this obvious fraud going on.

I only had one job where I was comfortable mentioning politics, but then, that boss had pictures of himself and Clarence Thomas, Bob Dole, Dan Quayle, Barbara Bush and even one of him and Reagan. He was a great boss.

As I read somewhere, one of the WORST things about this election is all the doubts raised about its validity. These undermine the entire process.

It does seem like a lot of Obama supporters do not even acknowledge that there is a line, before thy step over it

Lovely as in pleasant weather. I'm trying not to think about the election.
Why are so many people in the tank for Barry? Chris Buckley and Powell being the latest and most disturbing examples. Maybe it is the $150 million.

I accept the social contract. If Obama were to win FAIRLY and without question of fraud, I would support him as my president and as a member of the "loyal opposition."

When Clinton came to my home town in Carmichael on a fundraiser the turnwife and I were there waving a flag in support for him. I'm sorry times have changed for me, I'm going to find it hard to bind with the social contract, albeit there is not much I could do to oppose other than to cast my vote the next election cycle (and raise holy hell in the mean time).

The Nice Bridge is a nice bridge in my book. It's the way this Marylander takes to go see family in Southern Virginia, thus avoiding the I-95 death race. I see a pretty even mix of McCain-Palin signs and 0 signs on 301. What's your feeling on how the Northern Neck will break out? I know it's really grown since I worked there 20 years ago.

Money can be spent on instatrade can be bought just like advertising. MOF - it is advertising.
