Send it to Fox.
They're the only network with the stones to report it.

They're trying to cover up not only his association with 0bama, but his work with the PLO as well! Why- that's stunning. They're trying to toss the PLO under the bus. Someone call CAIR!

This is currently on the article...

Obama relationship

Khalidi's relationship to Obama has come under increasing interest due to the U.S. Presidential race of 2008.[24] Obama made one of the presentations in praise of Khalidi at a 2003 farewell dinner on the occasion of Khalidi leaving the Chicago Area.[24] The dinner was a celebration of the Chicago area Palestinian community. Obama's remarks alluded to the numerous dinners that he had at the home of the Khalidis.[24] Obama and Bill Ayers dispersed monies to Islamic groups controlled by the Khalidis acting as board members[25] of the Woods Fund of Chicago and Annenberg Foundation.

FYI

re: #15 thebigolddog

i listened to it and the particular redistribution of wealth that I think they are talking about is reparations for African Americans, althought they sort of dance around it. The word reparative is used several times.

32 Watcher  Sun, Oct 26, 2008 7:11:15pm

According to Wikipedia, Khalidi's ethnicity is Palestinian. What does that supposed to mean? Are Arabs who call themselves Palestinians belong to a standalone ethnic group?

33 K.  Sun, Oct 26, 2008 7:11:18pm

The excerpt of the LA Times article Charles quoted includes a statement that a tape exists and the LAT has a copy. If you click the link, that statement is not in the article. Anyone grab a screen shot?

Good thing Wikipedia keeps records, so we can revert the changes, take snapshots of the crazies, and laugh our heads off (at least for me, especially at the "will do anything to get McCain in the White House" bit.)

Holy shit. To be honest, all along I've thought that the "Obama is a Marxist" stuff was just hyperbole, but apparently he believes that the U.S. Constitution really should guarantee a Right To A Free Lunch.

Ha, look at this edit.

Which is why Wikipedia is useless for politically charged subjects. It's find for learning how a DVD player works, or what scerloderma is, but if you're looking for info on global warming, or Obama, try a reliable source.

Anyone else notice that on the RK entry page, it says "Ethnicity: Palestinian".

Born in the USA to a "palestinian" father and Lebanese mother...

From http://www.peacefaq.com/palestinians.html :

"Until 1950, the name of the Jerusalem Post was THE PALESTINE POST; the journal of the Zionist Organization of America was NEW PALESTINE; Bank Leumi was the ANGLO-PALESTINE BANK; the Israel Electric Company was the PALESTINE ELECTRIC COMPANY; there was the PALESTINE FOUNDATION FUND and the PALESTINE PHILHARMONIC. All these were Jewish organizations. In America, Zionist youngsters sang "PALESTINE, MY PALESTINE", "PALESTINE SCOUT SONG" and "PALESTINE SPRING SONG" In general, the terms Palestine and Palestinian referred to the region of Palestine as it was. Thus "Palestinian Jew" and "Palestinian Arab" are straightforward expressions. "Palestine Post" and "Palestine Philharmonic" refer to these bodies as they existed in a place then known as Palestine. The adoption of a Palestinian identity by the Arabs of Palestine is a recent phenomenon. Until the establishment of the State of Israel, and for another decade or so, the term Palestinian applied almost exclusively to the Jews. "

There is no language known as Palestinian. There is no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc. Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9 percent of the Middle East lands. Israel represents one-tenth of 1 percent of the landmass. "

"The Arabs who now call themselves "Palestinians" do so in order to persuade a misinformed world that they are a distinct nationality and that "Palestine" is their ancestral homeland. But they are no distinct nationality at all. They are the same - in language, custom, and tribal and family ties - as the Arabs of Syria, Jordan, and beyond. There is no more difference between the "Palestinians" and the other Arabs of those countries than there is between, say, the citizens of Minnesota and those of Wisconsin.

What's more, many of the "Palestinians", or their immediate ancestors, came to the area attracted by the prosperity created by the Jews, in what previously had been pretty much of a wasteland.
- New York Times, June 12, 2000 (via CFICEJ's ISRAEL REPORT May/June 2000) "

Paid Obama campaign people who happen to have Wikipedia admin credentials (like "Wizardman") are now blocking anyone who posts truthful information about Obama (especially the LA Times link) from Wikipedia until after Nov. 5th.

Time to cover this and unearth the truth about Wikipedia's inbred bias.
