Afghan girls scarred in acid attack

Five Afghan schoolgirls have been attacked with battery acid by suspected Taliban fighters in the southern city of Kandahar.

The attack on Wednesday occurred when two men on motorbikes confronted the students outside the Mirwais Nika Girls High School.

Two girls were seriously injured by what was discovered to be battery acid.

I have a dirty little secret, I watch Hardball just about every night. I know, I know .. why I resort to self-flagellation is beyond me. I think I get a kick out of yelling at the TV. Ha!

At any rate I think I'm going to have to stop, Chrissy is really raising my blood pressure with his non-stop attacks on Palin, and they take up what seems to be half of his show! I'll bet you he dedicates a portion of his show to a daily swipe at Palin for the next four years. WTF aren't they talking about BIDEN? (don't waste your time answering that question)

What I think this all boils down to is Palin has the left wing talking heads, and the MSM for that matter, running SCARED! She is clinging to her guns and religion and pro-life viewpoints.

re: #70 FurryOldGuyJeans

Did you read the HuffPo link? Maybe you should.....

A reader notes that this story is particularly dubious because Cindy McCain was on a trip to Kosovo at the time of the festival where the photos were supposedly taken.

One grainy photo accompanies the online article -- more are promised in the print edition. The National Enquirer was recently vindicated in its coverage of a different campaign scandal when John Edwards confessed to having an affair. During the election they pushed the story that Sarah Palin was having an affair with her husband's business partner.
