I'm not believing anything the O says. Between now and inauguration he may be saying what he thinks will please people/make for a smooth transition etc. It'll be his actions in office that either condemn or enshrine him.
Not that there's much to hope for their either... this asshat is appointing clintonites most likely because the left looks at the clinton terms as "successful" and forgetting how they failed at nearly everything...
sigh...

Turned in my papers for school, uggghhhhh! I'm not a math guy but sometimes I can't avoid it. I guess if you are working on an MBA you have to expect some math to come up (FIN501 for example).

I mean, c'mon, the CAPM was divined in the early 60s, the ABT in the early 70's, the Gordon Growth model in the 80s.

Give me a 2000 version of how to be flummoxed by factors that are totally unpredictable.

The joys of inter-faith dialogue.....
Baptist raises hell in Jewish dialogue

A BAPTIST pastor has admitted telling Jewish leaders that Jews were "going to hell" and faced a fate "worse than the Holocaust" because they had not accepted Jesus as their saviour.

But Pastor Kevin Harris of the Illawarra Community Baptist Church in Wollongong says his comments were "misunderstood and misquoted" in a mass email circulated yesterday by the chief of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies, Vic Alhadeff.

Mr Harris, a US-trained minister from Virginia, said his comments applied to all people who rejected Jesus, not only Jews, and were based in scripture. "The Bible says that all have sinned and all are worthy of hell," he told the Herald. "That includes everyone, until we receive Jesus as our saviour.

You're doing it wrong.

As President-elect Barack Obama mulls appointing Hillary Clinton to be the nation's top diplomat, pressure is rising on husband Bill Clinton to lift the lid on his vast network of business and philanthropic connections around the globe.

I can't stay long but it seems to me that there are a lot of worse choices than Hillary as SoS, at least in regard to the Middle East.

I had to take an (effin') class called "Quantitative Reasoning" for my undergrad business degree, and check this: my advisor assigned it to me as an elective course!

Fortunately a good friend of mine is a meteorologist and he was quick with the numbers. He tutored me (and dusted off some old math in his head, as well). It was the only class I really needed outside help with for my undergrad stuff.

New evidence proves scientists wrong and they are happy about it.....
Kangaroo genes close to humans

Australia's kangaroos are genetically similar to humans and may have first evolved in China, Australian researchers said Tuesday.

Scientists said they had for the first time mapped the genetic code of the Australian marsupials and found much of it was similar to the genome for humans, the government-backed Center of Excellence for Kangaroo Genomics said.
....
"We thought they'd be completely scrambled, but they're not. There is great chunks of the human genome which is sitting right there in the kangaroo genome," Graves said, according to AAP.

Humans and kangaroos last shared an ancestor at least 150 million years ago, the researchers found, while mice and humans diverged from one another only 70 million years ago.

Science!

I'm pretty good up to about sixth grade math. I can even factor and reduce fractions. From algebra, I remember how to factor and solve a quadratic equation. (Yes, you multiply first.) I know a little geometry and I can recognize a Cartesian graph, but that's about it, aside from some statistics and probability concepts. You are so right it's all about transaction posting to proper accounts. In many cases, accountants have little knowledge about you business and how you run it. That is the main reason I do all of the accounting and tax forms for my business. My accountant only does my end of year closing and corporate tax.

Heck, Dianna dahling, if your part of the City is as warm as mine, sandals would work! Its warm down in the Mission, believe me!
(Must go back lurking before law firm stalkers find me here again! Figure they won't be looking for me here.)

Smooches to all - I miss you guys!

Actually, psychologists will tell you that feeding anger just makes you more angry. If Emily had ever married, she would have discovered that to be true during her first fight with her husband. The only way to deal with anger is to realize that it's a dead end.

# 96 "Actually, psychologists will tell you that feeding anger just makes you more angry..."

1. Exactly right. This is part of what Theodore Dalrymple calls "the static electricity" view of human nature; anger, or lust, or whatever just builds up and needs some sort of release. The theory, if we can call it that, could not be more wrong.

2. Here goes Charles again showing his cultural leftism.

Obviously you have never had your own person or family threatened with bodily (potentially FATAL) harm. Thats the difference between liberals and conservatives. Liberals, (Basically the NEW and improved PROGRESSIVE commies from the 50's) are all about Peace Love and understanding.......THE GOVERNMENT WILL PROTECT
(pass the joint)....WWWWHHHOOOOOAAHHHHH [Link: WWWOOAAH....]
Oh and spare me the lame vaporous grouping of "Clinicians" whatever the medical Ident to make your point "SEEM" more valid. Boring commie shell games from what ?, the "50's!" Not so progressive when you peel off the glossy outer shell, ain't that correct comrade? By subverting GOOD anger that stimulates the brain to action to combat the wrong(based on the moral principles of a Judea-Chirstian construct that was the foundation of this greatest nation) by whatever means necessary within the law of this land! (remember human nature pre PC?) Proves my point that the term ("PROGRESS") has been high-jacked and it most certainly ain't all "double plus good."

Damn, you trolls so bore me
