Bali Bomber Ringtones Hot in Indonesia

World | Wed, Nov 26, 2008 at 9:17:45 am PST

A song recorded by one of the Bali bombers shortly before their execution for mass murder is now being used as a ringtone by members of the Religion of Peace™ in Indonesia.

A defiant deathbed song written and recorded by Imam Samudra shortly before his execution has been released on the internet and is now being downloaded as a mobile phone ringtone by hardliners and ordinary people alike in Indonesia.

News Ltd understands that Samudra’s song, which is about two minutes long, was recorded on a mobile phone by a visitor to Samudra at the prison in the months leading up to the execution. It has only just been released in MP3 format and is now being downloaded from Islamic websites in Indonesia.

In the song Samudra declares: “I am a martyr, I am a martyr. My eyes are closed, my chest is wounded.” He farewells his family, promising to meet them again in the hereafter. And he continues with his rhetoric about Jews and Americans who he claims are the enemies of Islam, saying of America and its allies: “We will beat them up, and they will fall.”

Fajar Badrullah, a herbal medicine seller in Jakarta, said he had made it his ringtone several days ago to “honour” the Bali bombers, who he said had struggled in Allah’s name to defend Islam against America and the allies.

“So this ring tone in my phone is my form of honouring them,” Fajar said. And he blamed the Indonesian Government for the 2002 Bali bombings, saying that if Indonesia had adopted Syriah law the bombings would not have occurred. “The bomber’s executions only light up the spirit of others to keep struggling for Islam. Plus the bombers died with a smile on their faces,” he said.

Rahmadia Shinta, a female student at Muhammadiyah University in Yogyakarta, says she had the ringtone but had now stopped using it because she found it scary to hear the voice of a dead man at night. And she said the intentions of the bombers, in defending Islam, were holy even though the bombing appeared cruel.

“They have paid for their mistakes in the world by being executed and now they are going to receive blessings for what they have sacrificed for Allah,” Rahmadia said.

Or, you should recommend him to a good proctologist after you shove that phone up his ass

. The victims are to blame.

' ... the intentions of the bombers, in defending Islam, were holy even though the bombing appeared cruel.'

. The mass immolation of innocents only appears to be cruel. Under Islam, mass murder is holy.

The LDS Church rarely takes a political stand on anything. Prop 8 was the rare exception. Being anactively practicing homosexual is considered a sin in the LDS Church and it is a very divisive issue among Mormons with gay children/family members. I suspect this is the origin of a lot of the bad blood between the prop 8 supporters and the Mormons.

California and the West in general have a large LDS population (LA county is the 5th highest county population of LDS in the world). I suspect if prop 8 was on the ballot in a Southern state you would see the Baptists being targeted for protests.

Obama's top pick for CIA chief bows out due to torture critics

President-elect Barack Obama's top pick to head the CIA blamed his sudden withdrawal from consideration on critics who blamed him for harsh Bush administration policies on interrogations, detentions and secret renditions.

John Brennan, a 25-year CIA veteran and career analyst who became the first head of the National Counterterrorism Center in 2004, preemptively declined to take any intelligence post in the new administration in a Nov. 25 letter sent to Obama.

I've been sitting in an Iblis Eternity
For my sins in this world.
The government of Bali convicted me,
For being a complete and total turd.
So they tied me to a post and fired
And I thought I'd get lots of Houris
But afterwards Iblis greeted me a bit tired
I found out by fate was a different story.
He was weary from picking up bombers
To bring to his local domain
As for me, it left me somber
To find my fate was to be the same.

Finally a Vermont story that isn't embarassing:

Police traced the suspect in a Monday burglary at a North Hero house because he abandoned his car at the scene while under fire from the homeowner, who said he could have killed the intruder but wanted only to force the man to surrender.

...Melanson came home -- he had been helping a friend dress a deer and was preparing to go out on his own hunt -- and noticed a strange car in his driveway at about 1:50 p.m. Monday. At first he thought the vehicle belonged to a town official such as a lister, but nobody was in sight. Melanson grew suspicious.

"I said, 'Nah, something's wrong,'" he recalled. "I parked right behind his bumper, so whoever it was couldn't leave without me knowing who it was."

Melanson kept a 9 mm handgun in his truck...

From that article,

"They need somebody who rose to the level of a division chief in the clandestine service but didn't spend too much time" with former CIA directors George Tenet and Porter Goss and current director Michael Hayden.

"But in the senior ranks you can't escape the reality that the CIA is associated with controversial practices since 9/11," Radsan said.

The political problem is the Democratic party leadership was cool with harsh interrogation including waterboarding back when the CIA was actually doing it, in 2002 & 2003. It wasn't until it became a convenient campaign posture that the Dems became "anti-torture". Now they've painted themselves into a corner. I tell you what, instead of waterboarding these bastards, lets just lock them up in a cell with somebody from Code Pink. That would make them confess to anything and everything.

He's paid for his mistakes in this world with his execution, says Rahmadia... but I'm guessing that she doesn't believe that his part in the bombing was one of said mistakes.

So they were protecting Bali from the Americans and Jews by blowing up Bali?

Oh, sure.  Who can argue with logic (sic) like that?

And they say, that Indonesia is a moderate country...

These people are so stupid! This herbal medicine seller in Jakarta, says "he had made it his ringtone several days ago to 'honour' the Bali bombers, who he said had struggled in Allah’s name to defend Islam against America and the allies."

Hey idiot! A high majority (maybe all) of the 200 or so victims who were murdered in this bombing were AUSTRALIANS! How is this defending Islam against America and the allies?

And the butcher Samudra says in his song:

“We will beat them up, and they will fall.”

Umm....Mr. Samudra, considering America and all other civil nations are STILL standing, I think it's pretty obvious who really fell here. So enjoy your time in hell.

The intention was holy, we are told, even though the result appears cruel. And that is how the worst, most bloodthirsty crimes in the world are justified in the minds of the apologists for them.

That is how the apologists for jihad justify the slaughters that result from jihad. And that is how the apologists for the Eurofascists will justify the bloodletting that the Eurofascists will carry out (and how they justify the slaughters that the Eurofascist predecessor -- the Nazi movement -- has done in the past).

What that means is that normal people must look beyond intentions, and look at the likely result. Do not accept the bs concerning intentions; consider what result is likely.

For example, there is a call for 500,000 Jews to be expelled from east Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria, and the bs is that that will bring peace. It won't. It's a human rights catastrophe that is concerned with ethnic cleansing, and will not in any way, shape or form bring about peace. It will open up possibilities of new warfare against Israel, by giving Israel a neck only 9 miles wide, and by putting much of the population of Israel in rocket range and in missile range, and by making Israel a more attractive target for Iranian nukes.

"Fajar Badrullah, a herbal medicine seller in Jakarta, said he had made it his ringtone several days ago to “honour” the Bali bombers, who he said had struggled in Allah’s name to defend Islam against America and the allies."

The left can take credit for this horrendous meme throughout the world. Thirty years of demonizing America has achieved its goal.

re: #64 DaddyG

One of my favorite lines about the difference between Catholics and Mormons having large families is: "The Catholics have to, the Mormons like to."

Heh! But it's not really true so much anymore -- nowadays, many American Catholics ignore (or partly ignore) the official Church policy against birth control, so if you see a "non-ethnic" Catholic family with ten kids, it's because they wanted a large family, not because they felt compelled by the Church.

(And what I mean by "partly ignore" is: the Church officially forbids the Pill, Norplant, diaphragms, condoms, etc. -- however, some individual Catholics follow their conscience and decide that "physical barrier" methods such as diaphragms and condoms are okay to use, while at the same time they obey the Church by avoiding hormonal birth control such as the Pill. And the thinking behind this is, presumably, that "physical barrier" contraceptives are perceived as much less disruptive of the body's natural functions when compared with hormonal contraceptives -- even though Church teachings say that condoms are just as immoral as the Pill.)

I want to know if jorline is going to introduce an LGBT sandwich--lettuce, guacamole, bacon, and tomato--just to get with the times.

And young left-wing whippersnappers who prefer queer "because it's so Inclusive and Embracing of Diversity and stuff" can get their LGBT sammiches con Queso -- everyone knows that ¡El bilingüismo es muy progressivo!

“They have paid for their mistakes in the world by being executed and now they are going to receive blessings for what they have sacrificed for Allah,” Rahmadia said.

And when they enter the gates of Hell, the first words out of their mouths will be "Oh Shit."

I'm torn on this. I have several muslim students that i work with daily. They are friends and I think they look up to me as a role model. I can't fathom that they would endorse this kind of behavior.

but then again they live in the States, work in the States, and do so because they don't want to live in a third world country with it's third world views.

how do you win the hearts and minds of a country, hell, of a fifth of the planet's population, when the system of inspiration and consolation that they look too endorses this kind of hatred?

How do you do that without a war?

Can you?

109 UncleSam  Thu, Nov 27, 2008 2:04:22am

These "people" are so incredibly deranged that they don't don't even live in the same world as the rest of us.
Theirs is a world ruled by hate, cruelty, violence and mindless fanaticism.
There is no way to deal with them other than by overwhelming force and violence, which is the only thing which they understand.
