Welcome to all the hatchlings! Remember to read the rules at the top before commenting, please. And, remember, we're always on the lookout for trolls, mobys, reruns, and sockpuppets. We will figure them out.

Here come the sockpuppets.

5 Fenway_Nation  Thu, Nov 27, 2008 5:12:43pm

Well, did you want to eat it now, while it's fresh, or have to come up with two weeks' worth of new turkey recipes for the leftovers?

Incidentally -- I won't link to it, but Socky Sockpuppet wrote a column about how the moonbats are sooo disappointed that The One is ignoring them. Some of them appear to be claiming that BO has yet to appoint even a single "progressive" to an Executive Branch post.

He's not even in office yet, and they're still whining.

Actually, I prefer venison, but none of Carl's relatives got any this year (well, not yet; there are a couple of antlerless seasons yet to go, so there's still hope). The local deer have no gamy taste at all, since they feed on corn, soybeans, wheat, and barley -- Mr. Empire doesn't like them at all, but I think they're great, so any we are given is all mine! Schadenfreude.

Absolutely, and I'm enjoying every minute of it. :)

Maybe Ralph Nader was right in predicting that the same Wall Street hustlers would have a lock on our government no matter which major party won the election. I hate to admit it, since it wasn't that long ago that I heatedly challenged Nader in a debate on this very point.

But how else is one to respond to Barack Obama's picking the very folks who helped get us into this financial mess to now lead us out of it? Watching the president-elect's Monday introduction of his economic team, my brother-in-law Pete said, "You can see the feathers coming out of their mouths" as the foxes were once again put in charge of the henhouse.

Gee... I think Robert Scheer might be unhappy. I wonder why?

That's all our deer eat, too, but I can't STAND venison. LOL They taste like liver.

Umm ... I don't think so, but even if they did, well ... I like liver! Preferably with onions.

Evening all,

Anyone else get a warm feeling watching a rerun of Greta Van Susteren's interview with Governor Sarah Palin on Fox News Cable after Thanksgiving Dinner? Governor Palin was in her cabin's kitchen fixing moose hot dogs and served Greta some moose-chili she'd made from meat her father or mother had shot! There was a crockpot in the background and she was talking Alaska gas tax refund policy while cooking. First Dude was holding the baby. What a nice family scene.

I'm still awed by the tough Amazonian Alaskan Governor and thankful she opened my eyes to the misogyny of feminists & liberals this year.

I am thankful small town America still raises up such fine individuals as Sarah ("Sacajawea" I say) Palin, corrupt giant slayer and frontier woman who did it her way!

Happy happy Thanksgiving~ we can still have our inner American pioneer/pilgrim selves in 2008 and beyond if we work at it.

They're being told to stop releasing information on this operation...(I can't believe the media's irresponsibility here).

I was reading that the people inside doing twitter caused them the most problems because they were doing recon for the bad guys! I guess they didn't mean to, but sometimes people just don't think.

Happy Thanksgiving Lizards and new hatchlings ...

So much to be thankful for ...family and friends ...we still live in the greatest country ...

We had the great eat and flop today ...its is funny after about half hour after eating it looked like a crime scene with bodies all over the couches ...almost everyone was napping ...

Wish my parents were still here to be with us ...mama made a killer cranberry dish and I never learned how to make it ...I miss it every Thanksgiving since she is gone ...

Tomorrow ...diet ...
