Neo-Nazi Metal and the BNP

At Harry’s Place, here’s a look at the British National Party’s music and merchandising division, featuring the work of neo-Nazi metal band “Battlecry”—whose songs include paeans to Aryan supremacy and David Duke, lame Hitleresque imagery, and a special guest appearance by the young blonde neo-Nazi twins “Prussian Blue:” The ‘new’ BNP is still the Nazi BNP.

Here’s a photo of these geniuses, and note the omnipresent Odin’s Cross white nationalist symbol on the bass player’s shirt. (Also note the mullet.)

I'd like to see these guys sing "Bose." Translated lyrics:

"On December first / I open all the doors on the Advent calendar / I want to whisper in front of other people / I want to crinkle paper in the cinema". Notable detail: The whole song is sung in a really evil tone.

Anyone catch this? The poor child's name is Adolph Hitler Campbell, and the family is distressed because ShopRite won't put his whole name on a birthday cake. They feel persecuted.

The sisters are JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell (apparently ShopRite is also refusing her cake), and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell.

They claim they're teaching their children nonviolence, and allowing them to make their own decisions about race.

Just as long as we're talking neo-Nazis in the news, ya know.

"I do not, for one, think that the problem was that the band was down. I think that the problem *may* have been, that there was a Odin Cross on the stage that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf. Alright? That tended to understate the hugeness of the object."

Particularly illuminating was the testimony of the Scottish Blood and Honour boss Steve Cartwright who went on record with his memories of Griffin in Wales in the mid-1990s. “Our meeting with Griffin went well,” recalled Cartwright, “he pushed all the right buttons, emphasising militancy as well as paying due respect to the Nationalists and National Socialists of the past. He also spoke of the need to re-package and modernise our beliefs in the hope of reaching the British public.”

Unfortunately, too many people are buying into the repackaged image...

Anyone catch this? The poor child's name is Adolph Hitler Campbell, and the family is distressed because ShopRite won't put his whole name on a birthday cake. They feel persecuted.

I suppose Shop-rite can make or not make any cake it wants to. There has to be some friendly local neo-nazi bakery to fill the demand.

As a secondary matter, what kind of total dumbass names their child "Adolf Hilter"? No matter where your neo-nazi sympathies may lie, you have to know you are hurting that kids chances of success with that kind of name.

Lastly, this reminds me of an old joke.

In 1935 Adolph Cohen went to court in Hamburg to have his name legally changed.
Standing in front of the court, the judge said "You swine, you think I am going to let you change your family name so that you can hide your Jewish roots?"
"Actually, I just wanted to change my first name to Samuel", replied Mr. Cohen.

Like a phoenix we will climb
From the ashes of mankind
For together we are strong
And now it won’t be long

In victory we raise our hands
From all across our sacred lands
Shouting out the triumph of the will
Our enemies shall fall disgraced
As we march out to save our race
Now they’ll see the
triumph of the will

Would that be the rat race?

Especially in the US, don't confuse saving our culture with saving your race.

Celtic crosses typically have lower sections that are longer the the upper section...

Odin's cross has no longer lower section.

The Scottish influenced High Cross has the longer lower section, standard celt crosses do not and are found on many graves. The main difference between them and the odin cross is the ends of the arms going wider at the tips, and the celtic knots usually done in fine scroll work on them.

110 Kosh's Shadow  Wed, Dec 17, 2008 1:41:10pm

Well, if we're bringing up Lovecraftian horrors, here is something I wrote a few weeks ago:

We should have foreseen this coming. Those of us who have read the ancient tomes, those of us who have even browsed the feared Necronomicon; the Unaussprechlichen Kulten; we should have known.

The rise of someone of curious parentage, with mesmerizing powers of speech; his resemblance to one spoken of only in whispers – it all presaged the catastrophe of January 20, 2009.

But if that were not enough, the other curious occurrences of the month leading up to it, should have given us warning. The earthquake in the Pacific, and the subsequent appearance of a new island, an island that could not be clearly photographed even by our most sophisticated satellites and aircraft, or approached by any ships or planes, should have been a warning.
The strange lights and noises in ancient towns that set their inhabitants on edge and set all the dogs barking, should have given us cause to think.
The mass migration of fish away from the eastern coast of the US, and the sudden disappearance of several fishing boats in sudden and unpredictable storms, should have warned us of the immanent reappearance of ancient beings long thought gone.
But we blamed all this on global warming. That is the least of our worries, now. How quaint it now seems to think that puny Man could have much of an effect in this vast world and vaster universe.

And last, we should have fled when he asked to be sworn in on an ancient “holy” book. Some thought his book was the Koran, because it was in Arabic. Others wondered at the strange leather in which it was bound. No, he was no Muslim; it was not the Koran. It was something far more ancient and far more dangerous.

It was, when he ended his oath of office, with the words “so help me, Azathoth”, that we knew. The scales, the deceptions that he had woven in front of our eyes, were so rudely torn away, and we saw that he was Nyarlathotep himself, the messenger of the Ancient Gods. The ancient text he had used was the dread Necronomicon, of the mad Arab, Abdul Alharazed. The sound we had heard, softly, unrecognizably, before, now grew in volume until it became deafening; a mad, demonic piping. Out of thin air appeared strange, grotesque creatures, dancing to this strange music, which have not since been able to get out of our minds.

The lucky ones of those present lost their sanity immediately. The Ancient Gods did not care who they destroyed – President, Senators, Ambassadors, were all the same to them. I doubt they even noticed us, the way we don't notice insects we step on. But we certainly saw them, and those who followed their appearance; eldritch beings who thought of us as food, or worse, as playthings for their depraved entertainment.

The pride of the free world was reduced to rubble in seconds. The dreams of humanity; our hopes; were changed instantly to nightmares.

The memories of what followed still haunt me; I cannot bear to write them down, and I fear that my sanity will soon be gone. But I must hold on, and write this, hoping that someday, these ancient gods will once again return to their court at the center of the universe, and Earth, our poor Earth, will have a chance to recover.
And that someone will find this, and warn the world, before they once more pick Nyarlathotep as leader.

I hear them coming now; the screams are getting closer. Fortunately, as I made my panicked escape, I had the sense to pick up a weapon from one of the then-gibbering guards. I will use it on myself before they find me. But first, I need to hide this in the hope that some humans survive.

Sounds like patriotic quotes for Daleks.
A Dalek rock band. I have to keep from cracking up at work.

DEVASTATE!
ANNIHILATE!
EXTERRRMMMINNNATE!
COME AND SEAL THE DOCTOR'S FATE!

with the Dalek heads spinning and their lights flashing.

This is good and there could be money in it. The most effective way to deal with losers of the right or left is with ridicule. Youts would recognize this and flock to it. A Dalek band sounds brilliat.

My only question is, has it been done?

If you ever played text adventure games, now called "interactive fiction", I recommend "Lurking Horror" and "Anchorhead".

I'll have to look for them.
I started reading Lovecraft when living in Providence, near Brown, in Lovecraft's territory. And I live in somewhat rural Mass; if I want to scare myself I can think about his stories and wonder if any fungi from Yuggoth live on the hill behind my house, especially when the dogs start barking up the hill late at night.

Russia provides 10 MiG fighter jets to Lebanon for free

Russia gave Lebanon an early Christmas gift of 10 MiG fighter jets today in a deal to boost defence co-operation.

The MiG-29 Fulcrum fighters would be provided for free to Lebanon under an agreement on military-technical assistance, the head of Russia’s defence co-operation service said. Mikhail Dmitryev said that the jets would be taken from Russia’s existing stock.

He said that Moscow was also in talks to supply Beirut with heavy armour, adding that supplies of such weaponry were “now possible after the situation in this nation has stabilised”. He said: “We view the Lebanese army as the main guarantor of this nation’s stability, therefore the armed forces of this country must be strengthened.” The deal followed a meeting in Moscow between Defence Minister Anatoly Serdyukov and his Lebanese counterpart Elias Murr. Mr Serdyukov said that Russia had received a detailed list of armaments sought by Lebanon.

Oh, it deals with an artist--Pickman--who produces a horrific picture of some debased, hideous and presumably mythic creature (anthropophagous, I think, though it's been a while since I read the story), which the narrator reveals, after Pickman's mysterious disappearance, was drawn from life.

And the creature lives somewhere under Boston.

Most of the amateur money has been chased out of the market.

You now have predominantly professionals and long term investors left for the time being.

The pro's are swing trading, just making money on the up and down until market takes a new direction.

re: #252 lifeofthemind

Interesting upding basically start from Arizona to the Texas panhandle and then go due North to Idaho and South Dakota you find a swath that no human being should be in.

Might be a population / rate thing. A county out in the wilderness with 1000 people and has two weather deaths has a rate of 2/1000.

Chicago with a million people can lose 1000 to weather and have a rate of 1/1000.

I ran into that anomaly looking at crime stats, parks always show up as high crime areas. But since crime rates are counted against people who live in that census block, since a census block with park has fewer people living in it it skews the crime rate.

Drew Peterson Gets Engaged While Still Married to Missing Wife

The ex-cop who is a suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife and whose third wife died suspiciously in a bathtub is planning to walk down the aisle for a fifth time.

Drew Peterson, 54, is engaged again, his lawyer and publicist confirmed Wednesday to FOXNews.com.

Though Peterson is still married to his fourth wife, Stacy, who was 23 when she disappeared last year, he has found a new 23-year-old fiancée, he told "Drew Peterson Exposed" author Derek Armstrong Tuesday.

This is really creepy.

Lamb and Lynx Gaede, adolescent twin girls who make up the band Prussian Blue, have gained recognition in white supremacist circles while preteens by singing about preserving the white race and Nazi heroes. Prussian Blue is the name of the blue residue left over by the use of Zyklon B, the poison the Nazis employed to kill millions of Jews and others in concentration camps during World War II.

I think that for crazy, messed-up women, the advantage of a man in prison is parallel: limited to no sex, no housecleaning, no real human contact. He cannot screw up in the small human ways that boyfriends and husbands do, because he is in prison. You get to decide what he is like because your only contact is so heavily controlled. He is behind bars, and you get to imagine him any way you like. Plus, everyone thinks you are so cool and brave and romantic, or at least you imagine they do. Why would Congress "have to approve" any proposed pay? SHE'S NOT AN ELECTED OFFICIAL! THE CONSTITUTION DOES NOT PROVIDE FOR IT.

Israel Warns that Iran Might Attack U.S.

Wednesday, December 17, 2008 3:00 PM

JERUSALEM — Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak is warning that if Iran acquires a nuclear weapon, it could try to attack the United States.

Barak said the world should press Iran to stop it from building nuclear weapons.

He spoke at a conference of the Institute for National Security Studies at Tel Aviv University. He said, "If it built even a primitive nuclear weapon like the type that destroyed Hiroshima, Iran would not hesitate to load it on a ship, arm it with a detonator operated by GPS and sail it into a vital port on the east coast of North America."

Indicating the possibility of a military strike, Barak said, "We recommend to the world not to take any option off the table, and we mean what we say."

re: #343 lifeofthemind

Has anyone ever explained the amazing power of mobile homes to attract tornados?

Good evening, Lizards.

Actually, it's pretty simple. Here in Ohio, when the joint was settled in the first place (think about twenty years after the American Revolution-we became an honest-to-G-d state in 1803), the early settlers figured out real quick where it was safe to build houses, establish towns, etc., especially in the southwestern part of the state, which varies from gently rolling hills to flat as a pool table (ideal tornado terrain for meteorological reasons too complex to go into here). The areas they avoided were the areas that regularly got flooded, blasted by blizzards (winds in excess of 70MPH are not uncommon in SW OH in the winter), or hammered by twisters or even just straight-line winds. There's a nasty little number called a "tunnel wind effect" you get around here sometimes, sort of like a low-level, very intense version of a wingtip vortex off a heavy jet that can pop up out of nowhere- I once saw a barn that had gotten hit by it. Barn totally unharmed except for a 10-foot almost perfectly circular hole right through its loft, front to back- it cored the loft like a Red Delicious. Fortunately no one was hurt. (But I'm betting the cows were pretty regular for a while after the fact.)

So, when trailer parks came along in the Fifties, they needed pretty big, flat areas to put them on. The developers bought flatlands that weren't being used for farming, weren't built up on, had no noticeable number of houses already in residence, etc., and laid down their plats.

The first time a tornado came along, they found out the hard way why nobody had built on those plots before they got there.

It's sort of like the principle of that old "math" joke, "A semi goes over a possum one time- with nothing left over."

The thing that amazes me is that you still find mobile home parks in such areas. In spite of having been clobbered multiple times over the decades. The park operators just rebuild and continue on. My guess is they don't tell new tenants what their track record is, though.

At some point, I'm expecting the NWS and/or FEMA to start grading areas in terms of Low, Medium, or High risk of tornado/windstorm damage the way they already do for flood risk. And then getting insurance in event of storm damage could get expensive for someone sitting in an area designated "High Risk".

/In OH, what we call "Are you nuts? Get outta there!"

cheers

re: #382 Green Helmet Guy

The name of the Band: "Prussian Blue" says it all... you don't even need to look for Odin's cross.

FWIW, there really is a specific color "Prussian Blue", like "Royal Blue" (the WN losers will claim that that is what is meant, of course - Olde World tradition, you see?); the use of the term to describe the cyanide residue was sarcastic "gallows humor".

Chrysler closing all 30 plants for one month starting Friday

DETROIT — Chrysler says it will close all 30 of its manufacturing plants for a month starting Friday.

The company needs to match production to slowing demand and conserve cash.

Tighter credit markets are keeping would-be buyers away from their showrooms, Chrysler says. Dealers are unable to close sales for buyers due to a lack of financing, and estimate that 20 to 25 percent of their volume has been lost due to the credit situation.

Chrysler claims it is nearing the minimum level of cash it needs to run the company and will have trouble paying bills after the first of the year.

Operations at the 30 plants will be idled at the end of shift on Friday, Dec. 19, and will not come back online until Jan. 19, 2009, or later.

she got into princeton and harvard on affirmative action.
her senior thesis at princeton was a grievance theater piece on how whites did not make her feel that she fit. or make her feel welcome.
she was hired by a prestigious law firm after law school but told after her first yr. there ,she was not partner material and was let go. their complaint was she could not even write a legal paper.
her 'job' at the med. center was cronyism thru barack and his criminal thug cohorts.

Ok that seems to be the concensous of most here, but I imagine it wouldn't be as quickly dismissed if instead Russia were selling them to Al Qaeda if they were based in Mexico.

How successful has Syria's AF been recently? They are at least trained.

We don't have an hostile country (other than the drug cartels) on our southern border. If we did have that type of threat we'd copy the IAF air defense model.

The IAF keeps fighters cocked and locked on the ramp. They know the intercept times for southbound bogies and are prepped for an intercept.

Any Russia trained Lebanese pilots are going to be way behind the curve on combat flights, while IAF drivers are the leading edge of the curve.

The question is will the Israeli government give an IAF pilot weapons free on a southbound plane over Lebanon. Not, if the IAF can kill it.

re: #489 WrathofG-d

I understand what you are saying, but it isn't as funny when its your relatives under the planes. Sure, Israel can probably very easily destroy the Lebanese planes, but they shouldn't have to. In a sane world, Hiz'b'allah wouldn't be receiving them. You have to wonder who is asleep at the wheel in Israel while this takes place.

AND...who was it that said that Russia would work with the Arab states to destroy Israel...?... sounds so familiar...

Agreed. The main question is, "Can Hiz'b'allah maintain the aircraft?" Back in the Sixties, the Soviets were handing out the export versions of their most advanced fighters (the Mig-21s, at the time) all over the Second and Third Worlds as "goodwill gestures". It used to be a standing joke in intelligence circles that a typical Idi Amin-style dictator would have people who spent all their time polishing the shiny Fishbeds in the hangars, because of a lack of trained maintenance personnel and spares. There's a reason that the PRC until recently built an export version of the simpler, more rugged, and easier-to-maintain Mig-19 Farmer. The Farmer is technically about equivalent to an F-84 Thunderjet- not even as sophisticated as our old F-100. The MiG-21 is about equal to the "Hun" in technology. The Farmer can be maintained by the equivalent of a guy with two years of high school industrial arts. The Fishbed requires at least the equivalent of a three-year degree from a technical college. And that's irrespective of the training required to fly either one, which takes the equivalent of a Master's degree.

The MiG-29 Fulcrum is about equivalent, in most respects, to an F/A-18A/B. Which means it requires a highly trained crew of technicians to keep it reliably ticking over, and the pilot had better be a bloody Ph.D. My guess is that unless Hiz'b'allah has a lot of members who have been to European technical schools, has contracted tech support from the Russians, or is having the Lebanese government handle maintenance/OR, those Fulcrums will be hangar queens pretty quick.

However, if all they want them for is one, Islamist-SOP-style, all-out attack of some kind, they would certainly be usable for that. Which makes me wonder (a) where they will be based, (b) what units they will be supporting and/or co-located with, and (c) exactly what sort of ordnance they're buying (from the Russians or whoever) to hang on their hardpoints.

cheers

eon

AZUZ: Before she was first lady, Laura Bush worked as a teacher and librarian. Former first lady Hillary Clinton was a lawyer. Betty Ford even a theatrical dancer! When they moved into the White House thought, they all left the professional world to take on a new role. Some folks question whether that position should be paid. Alina Cho examines the issue.

The abuses of both workers and management in the auto industry, along with the complicity of an elitist Congress pandering for power and votes, have gone on far too long that any remedy will be excessively costly; and yet everyone is too busy protecting their rice bowls to take the measures needed to cure the disease instead of just masking the symptoms.

Back a few years IAF whacked a terrorist camp north and east of Damascus.
On the way back they did a supersonic low level pass over Assad's palace.

Message: We could if we wanted to.

A supersonic pass on one of those rookie pilots at take off would get the message through.

I stink... my house stinks...

let me 'splain.

My wife always economizes before the Christmas holidays (even though we really don't need to) on the food budget because we put on a big feed for the whole family, and she likes to go overboard on that. Plus it's winter and she's in a comfort food mode. So over the weekend we had hamhocks and beans, and just when the smell from that was going away she brings me beans and wieners...

It's maniacal methane madness, and Al Gore will be after me soon for carbon credits...

re: #652 Shr_Nfr

WSJ breaking headline: "Gov. Rod Blagojevich said through his attorney that he will not appoint anyone to fill the Senate seat vacated by Obama." This guy is getting to be more of a stand up comic every day.

NBC News breaking news; The Illinois State Supreme Court today rejected the state attorney general's request that they rule Blagojevich unfit to serve. This ruling was desired (intensely) by the state Democratic party, as it would have avoided the problem of having to impeach or recall the governor. As for Blagojevich himself, he has refused to resign, insists that he has violated no laws, and claims there is no proof he even considered doing anything illegal. He has also challenged U.S. Attorney Fitzgerald to "try to take me on".

The man is either arrogant to the point of insanity, or totally disconnected from reality.

/Of course, politically speaking, the Illinois Democratic Party has been doing an even better job of living in a parallel universe than the national Democrats for a long time now.

re: #744 Spare O'Lake

I knew I was a Jew, and I was proud of it and still am.
Singing the Christmas carols did not diminish me.

I don't necessarily agree. The Kings of a nation didn't envy the peasants, and they didn't sing their songs. Do I believe Jews are "kings", and non-Jews "peasants"? NO. But my point is that one does not envy things they think are worse, or even equal. They envy things they look up to. Thus, to want what the other person has is to think it is better, and thus what you have as a Jew; worse.

It also sends a message to those around you that you believe that what you have is not good enough. Well, when that thing is Judaism, there is major damage.

You don't see the non-Jews (for the most part) wanting to have menorahs, etc...and that is because they are the majority in this Country and proud of who they are.

Let that be food for thought before you disagree and attack me because I have hit on a sore subject for most unaffiliated Jews.

Etymological note: does anyone know if there is a root connection between "dhimmi" and "diminish"?

Dhimmah means "treaty" in a Semitic language. "Diminish" comes from Latin dis-minu-escô > dîminuescô. It means "to be broken down and made less".

No relation, at all.

There are some Semitic words in old Latin and Greek (those wacky Phoenicians) but this isn't one of them.

Sorry about this late contribution, but I'd like to make quite clear that the symbol these people are wearing is not, in any way, related to the famous Celtic Crosses.

These have always the form of a proper crucifix, as in graveyards here, or as ornaments, like this, and, if its a brooch, the arms do not extend much over the circle, like here.

just thought I'd make that clear!
